Psalms 82

DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 A psalm for Asaph. God hath stood in the congregation of gods: and being in the midst of them he judgeth gods.	1 Salmo de Asaf. Dios se levanta en la asamblea divina y juzga en medio de los dioses;
2 How long will you judge unjustly: and accept the persons of the wicked?	2 «¿Hasta cuándo juzgarán injustamente y favorecerán a los malvados?
3 Judge for the needy and fatherless: do justice to the humble and the poor.	3 ¡Defiendan al desvalido y al huérfano, hagan justicia al oprimido y al pobre;
4 Rescue the poor; and deliver the needy out of the hand of the sinner.	4 libren al débil y al indigente, rescátenlos del poder de los impíos!».
5 They have not known nor understood: they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth shall be moved.	5 Pero ellos caminan en la oscuridad, faltos de inteligencia y comprensión, mientras vacilan los fundamentos de la tierra.
6 I have said: You are gods and all of you the sons of the most High.	6 Yo había pensado: «Ustedes son dioses, todos son hijos del Altísimo».
7 But you like men shall die: and shall fall like one of the princes.	7 Pero morirán como cualquier hombre, caerán como cualquiera de los príncipes.
8 Arise, O God, judge thou the earth: for thou shalt inherit among all the nations.	8 Levántate, oh Dios, juzga a la tierra, porque tú eres el dueño de todas las naciones.
