Psalms 22

1 A Psalm of David. The Lord directs me, and nothing will be lacking to me.	1 Salmo di Davidde. Il Signore mi governa, e niuna cosa a me mancherà:
2 He has settled me here, in a place of pasture. He has led me out to the water of refreshment.	2 Egli mi ha posto in luoghi di pascolo abbondante. Mi ha condotto a un'acqua, che riconforta:
3 He has converted my soul. He has led me away on the paths of justice, for the sake of his name.	3 Richiamò a se l'anima mia. Mi ha condotto pe' sentieri della giustizia per amore del suo nome.
4 For, even if I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils. For you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they have given me consolation.	4 Imperocché quand'anche io camminassi in mezzo all'ombra di morto, non temerò disastri, perché meco sei tu. La tua verga stessa, e il tuo bastone mi han consolato.
5 You have prepared a table in my sight, opposite those who trouble me. You have anointed my head with oil, and my cup, which inebriates me, how brilliant it is!	5 Hai imbandita dinanzi a me una mensa, in faccia di quelli, che mi perseguitano. Hai asperso il mio capo di unguento; ma quanto è mai buono il mio calice esilarante!
6 And your mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and so may I dwell in the house of the Lord for length of days.	6 E la tua misericordia mi seguirà, per tutti i giorni della mia vita. Affinchè io abiti nella casa del Signore pe' lunghi giorni.
