1 Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.	1 Áron fiainak a következő osztályaik voltak. Áron fiai Nádáb, Ábiu, Eleazár és Itamár voltak,
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and without children. And so Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priestly office.	2 de Nádáb és Ábiu atyjuk előtt haltak meg s nem voltak fiaik, és így Eleazár és Itamár viselték a papságot.
3 And David distributed them, that is, Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.	3 Ezeket osztotta be tehát Dávid, azaz az Eleazár fiai közül való Szádok és az Itamár fiai közül való Ahimelek, rendjeik és szolgálatuk szerint.
4 And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the leading men, than of the sons of Ithamar. Therefore, he divided them so that there were, of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen leaders by their families, and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.	4 Ám Eleazár fiai között sokkal több családfő volt, mint Itamár fiai között. Ezért azoknak, vagyis Eleazár fiainak családjaik szerint tizenhat főembert juttatott, Itamár fiainak pedig, családjaik szerint nyolcat.
5 Then he divided among them, in both families, by lot. For there were leaders of the sanctuary and leaders of God, as much from the sons of Eleazar as from the sons of Ithamar.	5 Sorsvetés által osztotta be mind a két nemzetséget egyaránt, mert Eleazár fiai közül is, meg Itamár fiai közül is voltak vezetői a szenthelynek és megbízottai Isten ügyének.
6 And the scribe Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel, a Levite, wrote these down before the king and the leaders, with Zadok, the priest, and Ahimelech, the son of Abiathar, and also the leaders of the priestly and Levitical families. And there was one house, which was preeminent over the others, that of Eleazar; and there was another house, which had the others under it, that of Ithamar.	6 Semeja, Natanael fia, a levita íródeák jegyezte fel őket, a király és a fejedelmek meg Szádok pap és Ahimelek, Abjatár fia, meg a papi és levita családok fejei előtt: egyfelől Eleazár családját, amely a többi felett állott, másfelől Itamár családját, amely alatt a többiek voltak.
7 Now the first lot went forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,	7 Az első sorsvetés Jojáribra esett, a második Jedeire,

12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,	12 a tizenegyedik Eliásibra, a tizenkettedik Jákimra,
13 the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,	13 a tizenharmadik Hoffára, a tizennegyedik Jesebábra,
14 the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,	14 a tizenötödik Bilgára, a tizenhatodik Immerre,
15 the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,	15 a tizenhetedik Hezírre, a tizennyolcadik Áfszeszre,
16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,	16 a tizenkilencedik Petahjára, a huszadik Hezekielre,
17 the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,	17 a huszonegyedik Jákinra, a huszonkettedik Gámulra,
18 the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.	18 a huszonharmadik Dalája, a huszonnegyedik Maazjáura.
19 These were their courses according to their ministries, so that they would enter into the house of the Lord in accord with their practice, under the hand of Aaron, their father, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had instructed.	19 Ez volt az ő szolgálati rendjük az Úr házába való bevonulásukat illetőleg, az atyjuktól, Árontól, az Úrnak, Izrael Istenének parancsa alapján kapott rendtartásuk szerint.
20 Now of the sons of Levi who were remaining, there were Shubael, from the sons of Amram, and Jehdeiah, from the sons of Shubael.	20 Ami Lévi többi fiát illeti: Amrám fiai közül való volt Subaél; Subaél fiai közül Jehedeja,
21 Also, there were Isshiah, the leader from the sons of Rehabiah,	21 Rohóbia fiai közül pedig Jesia volt a családfő.
22 and truly Shelomoth, the son of Izhar, and Jahath, the son of Shelomoth,	22 Jichár fiai közül való volt Sálemót, Sálemót fiai közül Jahát volt a családfő.
23 and his son, Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.	23 Ennek első fia Jeriáu, a második Amarja, a harmadik Jahaziél, a negyedik Jekmaán volt.
24 The son of Uzziel was Micah. The son of Micah was Shamir.	24 Oziel fia volt Míka, Míka fiai közül Sámir volt a családfő.
25 The brother of Micah was Isshiah. And the son of Isshiah was Zechariah.	25 Míka fivére Jesia volt, Jesia fiai közül Zakariás volt a családfő.
26 The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. The son of Uzziah was Beno.	26 Merári fiai voltak: Moholi és Músi. Ozjáu fia: Bennó.
27 Also, the son of Merari: Uzziah, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Hebri.	27 Merári fiai voltak: Ozjáu, Soám, Zákur és Hebri.
28 In addition, the son of Mahli was Eleazar, who had no children.	28 Moholi fia volt Eleazár, – ennek nem voltak fiai.
29 Truly, the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.	29 Kís fia pedig Jerameél.
30 The sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.	30 Músi fiai voltak: Moholi, Eder és Jerimót. Ezek voltak Lévi fiai, családjaik szerint.
31 And they also cast lots concerning their brothers, the sons of Aaron, before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the leaders of the priestly and Levitical families, as much concerning the elder as the younger. The lot divided all things equitably.	31 Ezek is sorsot vetettek, mint ahogy a testvéreik, Áron fiai, Dávid király előtt és Szádok, Ahimelek, s a papi és levita családok fejei előtt, mind az idősebbek, mind a fiatalabbak: sorsvetés által osztották be egyaránt valamennyit.
