1 Als der Sabbat vorüber war, kauften Maria Magdalena, die Mutter des Jakobus, und Salome Spezereien, um hinzugehen und ihn zu salben.	1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him.
2 In aller Frühe am ersten Tag der Woche kamen sie zum Grabe, da eben die Sonne aufging.	2 And very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun had risen.
3 Sie sagten zueinander: "Wer wird uns den Stein wegwälzen vom Eingang des Grabes?"	3 And they were saying to one another, "Who will roll away the stone for us from the door of the tomb?"
4 Als sie aber hinblickten, sahen sie, daß der Stein weggewälzt war; er war nämlich sehr groß.	4 And looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back; --it was very large.
5 Und sie gingen in das Grab hinein, sahen zur Rechten einen Jüngling sitzen, umkleidet mit einem weißen Gewand, und erschraken sehr.	5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe; and they were amazed.
6 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: "Fürchtet euch nicht! Ihr sucht Jesus, den Nazarener, den Gekreuzigten; er ist auferweckt worden, er ist nicht hier; seht hier den Platz, wo sie ihn hingelegt hatten.	6 And he said to them, "Do not be amazed; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here; see the place where they laid him.
7 Doch geht nun hin und sagt seinen Jüngern und dem Petrus: Er geht euch voraus nach Galiläa; dort werdet ihr ihn sehen, wie er es euch gesagt hat."	7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you."
8 Sie aber gingen hinaus und flohen vom Grabe; denn Schrecken und Entsetzen erfaßte sie. Zu niemand sagten sie etwas, denn sie fürchteten sich.	8 And they went out and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them; and they said nothing to any one, for they were afraid.
9 Als er in der Frühe am ersten Wochentag auferstanden war, erschien er zuerst Maria Magdalena, aus der er sieben Dämonen ausgetrieben hatte.	9 Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
10 Diese ging hin und verkündete es seinen trauernden und weinenden Gefährten.	10 She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 Doch als diese hörten, daß er lebe und von ihr gesehen worden sei, glaubten sie es nicht.	11 But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.
12 Dannach erschien er in fremder Gestalt zweien von ihnen auf dem Weg, als sie über Land gingen.	12 After this he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country.
13 Und diese gingen hin und verkündeten es den übrigen; doch auch ihnen glaubten sie nicht.	13 And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.
14 Später erschien er den Elfen, als sie bei Tische waren, und tadelte ihren Unglauben und ihre Herzenshärte, weil sie denen, die ihn als von den Toten Auferweckten sahen, nicht geglaubt hatten.	14 Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they sat at table; and he upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen.
15 Und er sprach zu ihnen: "Geht hin in alle Welt und verkündet das Evangelium aller Kreatur!	15 And he said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
16 Wer glaubt und sich taufen läßt, wird gerettet, wer aber nicht glaubt, wird verdammt werden.	16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 Als Zeichen aber werden denen, die glauben, diese zur Seite sein: In meinen Namen werden sie Dämonen austreiben, mit neuen Zungen reden,	17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
18 Schlangen aufheben, und wenn sie etwas Tödliches trinken, wird es ihnen nicht schaden. Kranken werden sie die Hände auflegen, und diese werden gesund werden."	18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover."
19 Nachdem der Herr Jesus zu ihnen geredet hatte, wurde er hinaufgenommen in den Himmel und setzte sich zur Rechten Gottes.	19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 Jene aber gingen hin, predigten überall, und der Herr wirkte mit ihnen und bekräftigte das Wort durch die Zeichen, die dabei geschahen.	20 And they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it. Amen.
