1 Der Herr sprach zu Moses:	1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 "Sprich zu den Israeliten und befiehl ihnen: Wenn jemand dem Herrn als Gelübde Personen nach dem Schätzungswert weiht,	2 Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: The man that shall have made a vow, and promised his soul to God, shall give the price according to estimation.
3 So soll der Schätzungswert für einen Mann von zwanzig bis sechzig Jahren fünfzig Silbersekel nach heiligem Gewicht betragen.	3 If it be a man from twenty years old unto sixty years old, he shall give fifty sides of silver, after the weight of the sanctuary:
4 Wenn es sich aber um eine weibliche Person handelt, so soll der Schätzungswert dreißig Silbersekel betragen.	4 If a woman, thirty.
5 Handelt es sich um Leute von fünf bis zwanzig Jahren, so soll der Schätzungswert für eine männliche Person zwanzig Silbersekel, für eine weibliche zehn Silbersekel betragen.	5 But from the fifth year until the twentieth, a man shall give twenty sicles: a woman ten.
6 Ist es aber ein Kind von einem Monat bis zu fünf Jahren, dann betrage der Schätzungswert für einen Knaben fünf und für ein Mädchen drei Silbersekel.	6 From one month until the fifth year. for a male shall be given five sides: for a female three.
7 Handelt es sich um Leute von sechzig Jahren und darüber, dann soll der Schätzungswert für einen Mann fünfzehn Silbersekel und für eine Frau zehn Silbersekel betragen.	7 A man that is sixty years old or upward, shall give fifteen aisles: a woman ten.
8 Ist aber jemand zu arm, um den Schätzungswert zu entrichten, so stelle er den zu Weihenden dem Priester vor, und dieser schätze ihn ab. Er soll ihn nach Maßgabe dessen abschätzen, was der Gelobende an Geldmitteln aufbringen kann.	8 If he be poor, and not able to pay tile estimation, he shall stand before tile priest: and as much as he shall value him at, and see him able to pay, so much shall he give.
9 Ist es ein Stück Vieh, von dem man dem Herrn opfern darf, so hat alles, was einer davon dem Herrn schenkt, als geweiht zu gelten.	9 But a beast that may be sacrificed to the Lord, if ally one shall vow, shall be holy,
10 Er soll das Tier nicht umwechseln und nicht austauschen ein gutes für ein geringeres oder ein geringeres für ein besseres. Wenn er dennoch ein Stück Vieh gegen ein anderes austauscht, dann ist dieses und sein Ersatzstück dem Heiligtum verfallen.	10 And cannot be changed, that is to say, neither a better for a worse, nor a worse for a better. And if he shall change it: both that which was changed, and that for which it was changed, shall be consecrated to the Lord.
11 Handelt es sich um ein unreines Tier, das man dem Herrn nicht als Opfer darbringen darf, so stelle er das Tier dem Priester vor.	11 An unclean beast, which cannot be sacrificed to the Lord, if my man shall vow, shall be brought before the priest:
12 Der Priester soll es dann nach einem Durchschnittswert abschätzen; was der Priester abschätzt, soll gelten.	12 Who judging whether it be good or bad, shall set the price:
13 Wenn er es nun einlösen will, dann muß er zum Schätzungswerte noch ein Fünftel hinzufügen.	13 Which if he that offereth it will give, he shall add above the estimation the fifth part.
14 Weiht jemand sein Haus als heilige Gabe dem Herrn, dann soll der Priester es nach einem Durchshnittswert abschätzen; wie der Priester es abschätzt, so komme es zu stehen.	14 If a man shall vow his house, and sanctify it to the Lord, the priest shall consider it, whether it be good or bad, and it shall be sold according to the price, which he shall appoint.
15 Wenn einer sein Haus geweiht hat und es einlösen will, so lege er noch ein Fünftel des Betrages zum Schätzungswert zu, dann gehört es ihm.	15 But if he that vowed, will redeem it, he shall give the fifth part of the estimation over and above, and shall have the house.
16 Weiht jemand von seinem erblichen Grundbesitz dem Herrn, so richte sich der Schätzungswert nach Maßgabe seiner Aussaat; die Saat eines Chomers Gerste gelte fünfzig Silbersekel.	16 And if he vow the field of his possession, and consecrate it to the Lord, the price shall be rated according to the measure of the seed. If the ground be sowed with thirty bushels of barley, let it be sold for fifty sides of silver.
17 Weiht er vom Jobeljahr ab sein Feld, dann stehe sein Schätzungswert in voller Höhe.	17 If he vow his field immediately from the year of jubilee that is beginning, as much as it may be worth, at so much it shall be rated.
18 Hat er aber sein Feld erst nach dem Jobeljahr geweiht, dann errechne ihm der Priester den Preis nach Maßgabe der noch bis zum nächsten Jobeljahr übrigen Jahre; von dem Schätzungswert ist dann ein Abzug zu machen.	18 But if some time after, the priest shall reckon the money according to the number of years that remain until the jubilee, and the price shall be abated.
19 Will aber der, der das Feld geweiht hat, dieses einlösen, so muß er ein Fünftel zum Geldbetrag des Schätzungswertes hinzufügen, dann verbleibt es ihm.	19 And if he that had vowed, will redeem his field, he shall add the fifth part of the money of the estimation, and shall possess it.
20 Löst er aber den Acker nicht ein und verkauft ihn an einen anderen Mann, so kann er überhaupt nicht mehr eingelöst werden.	20 And if he will not redeem it, but it be sold to any other man, he that vowed it, may not redeem it any more:
21 Dann fällt der Acker, wenn er im Jobeljahr frei wird, als geweihtes Gut an den Herrn wie ein Acker, der dem Bann verfallen ist; sein Besitz fällt dem Priester zu.	21 For when the day of jubilee cometh, it shall be sanctified to the Lord, and as a possession consecrated, pertaineth to the right of the priests.
22 Weiht er aber dem Herrn ein Grundstück, das er gekauft hat und das nicht von seinem Erbbesitz stammt,	22 If a field that was bought, and not of a man's ancestors' possession, be sanctified to the Lord,
23 so berechne ihm der Priester den Betrag des Schätzungswertes bis zum Jobeljahr; er aber erlege den Schätzungswert am gleichen Tag als Weihegabe für den Herrn.	23 The priest shall reckon the price according to the number of years: unto the jubilee: and he that had vowed, shall give that to the Lord.
24 Im Jobeljahr falle das Grundstück an den zurück, von dem er es gekauft hat und dem es als Erbbesitz gehört.	24 But in the jubilee, it shall return to the former owner, who had sold it, and had it in the lot of his possession.
25 Jegliche Schätzung geschehe nach heiligem Gewicht; ein Silbersekel sind zwanzig Gera.	25 All estimation shall be made according to the side of the sanctuary. A sicle hath twenty obols.
26 Die Erstgeburt des Viehs kann jedoch nicht geweiht werden, da sie schon als Erstgeburt dem Herrn gehört; ob Rind oder Schaf, dem Herrn gehören sie.	26 The firstborn, which belong to the Lord, no man may sanctify and vow: whether it be bullock, or sheep, they are the Lord's.
27 Handelt es sich aber um ein unreines Haustier, dann löse er es gegen den Schätzungswert ein und füge noch ein Fünftel davon hinzu; wird es aber nicht eingelöst, so soll es zum Schätzungswert verkauft werden.	27 And if it be an unclean beast, he that offereth it shall redeem it, according to thy estimation, and shall add the fifth part of the price. If he will not redeem it, it shall be sold to another for how much soever it was estimated by thee.
28 Jedoch darf kein Banngut, das jemand dem Herrn durch einen Bannfluch geweiht hat von allem, was ihm gehört, von Menschen, Vieh und ererbtem Feld, verkauft oder eingelöst werden; alles Banngut ist etwas für den Herrn Hochheiliges.	28 Any thing that is devoted to the Lord, whether it be man, or beast, or field, shall not be sold, neither may it be redeemed. Whatsoever is once consecrated shall be holy of holies to the Lord.
29 Kein Mensch, der mit dem Bann belegt wurde, darf losgekauft werden; er muß des Todes sterben.	29 And any consecration that is offered by man, shall not be redeemed, but dying shall die.
30 Aller Zehnte des Landes vom Saatertrag des Bodens und von den Baumfrüchten gehört dem Herrn; er ist dem Herrn heilig.	30 All tithes of the land, whether of corn, or of the fruits of trees, are the Lord's, and are sanctified to him.
31 Will aber jemand einen Teil seines Zehnten einlösen, so muß er noch ein Fünftel des Betrages hinzulegen.	31 And if any man will redeem his tithes, he shall add the fifth part of them.
32 Jeglicher Zehnte von Rindern und vom Kleinvieh von allem, was unter dem Hirtenstab durchgeht, je das zehnte Stück soll dem Herrn geweiht sein.	32 Of all the tithes of oxen, and sheep, and goats, that pass under the shepherd's rod, every tenth that cometh shall be sanctified to the Lord.
33 Man untersuche nicht, ob es gut oder geringwertig ist; man darf es auch nicht austauschen. Tauscht es jemand aber doch aus, so ist es zusammen mit seinem Ersatzstück dem Heiligtum verfallen; man kann es nicht einlösen."	33 It shall not be chosen neither good nor bad, neither shall it be changed for another. If any man change it: both that which was changed, and that for which it was changed, shall be sanctified to the Lord, and shall not be redeemed.
34 Dies sind die Weisungen, die der Herr dem Moses für die Söhne Israels auf dem Berg Sinai aufgetragen hat.	34 These are the precepts which the Lord commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
