1 Der Herr sprach zu Moses:	1 Then the LORD said to Moses,
2 "Im ersten Monat, und zwar am ersten Tag des Monats, sollst du die Wohnstätte des Offenbarungszeltes aufrichten.	2 "On the first day of the first month you shall erect the Dwelling of the meeting tent.
3 Stelle die Gesetzeslade hinein und hänge den Vorhang vor die Lade!	3 Put the ark of the commandments in it, and screen off the ark with the veil.
4 Dann schaffe den Tisch hinein und lege sein Zubehör zurecht; dann bringe den Leuchter und setze seine Lampen auf!	4 Bring in the table and set it. Then bring in the lampstand and set up the lamps on it.
5 Stelle den goldenen Räucheraltar vor die Gesetzeslade und hänge den Behang vor den Eingang zur Wohnstätte!	5 Put the golden altar of incense in front of the ark of the commandments, and hang the curtain at the entrance of the Dwelling.
6 Den Brandopferaltar errichte vor dem Eingang der Wohnstätte des Offenbarungszeltes!	6 Put the altar of holocausts in front of the entrance of the Dwelling of the meeting tent.
7 Das Becken aber stelle zwischen das Offenbarungszelt und den Altar und schütte Wasser hinein!	7 Place the laver between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it.
8 Dann richte den Vorhof ringsum auf und bringe den Behang an den Vorhofseingang!	8 Set up the court round about, and put the curtain at the entrance of the court.
9 Dann nimm das Salböl und salbe die Wohnstätte und alles, was in ihr ist; weihe sie mit all ihren Geräten; heilig soll sie sein!	9 "Take the anointing oil and anoint the Dwelling and everything in it, consecrating it and all its furnishings, so that it will be sacred.
10 Salbe auch den Brandopferaltar mit all seinen Geräten und weihe den Altar, damit er zu etwas Hochheiligem werde!	10 Anoint the altar of holocausts and all its appurtenances, consecrating it, so that it will be most sacred.
11 Salbe dann das Becken mit seinem Gestell und weihe es!	11 Likewise, anoint the laver with its base, and thus consecrate it.
12 Alsdann laß Aaron und seine Söhne zum Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes treten und wasche sie mit Wasser!	12 "Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the meeting tent, and there wash them with water.
13 Bekleide Aaron mit den heiligen Gewändern, salbe und weihe ihn so, daß er mir al Priester diene!	13 Clothe Aaron with the sacred vestments and anoint him, thus consecrating him as my priest.
14 Auch seine Söhne lasse herantreten, bekleide sie mit Leibröcken	14 Bring forward his sons also, and clothe them with the tunics.
15 und salbe sie, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, damit sie mir als Priester dienen. Ihre Salbung soll ihnen das Recht verleihen, immerwährend Priesterdienst zu tun von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht!"	15 As you have anointed their father, anoint them also as my priests. Thus, by being anointed, shall they receive a perpetual priesthood throughout all future generations."
16 Moses führte dies aus; ganz wie der Herr es ihm aufgetragen, machte er es.	16 Moses did exactly as the LORD had commanded him.
17 Im ersten Monat, im zweiten Jahre, am Ersten des Monats war die Wohnstätte errichtet.	17 On the first day of the first month of the second year the Dwelling was erected.
18 Moses richtete die Wohnstätte auf, stellte ihre Fußsockel hin, setzte ihre Bretter darauf, brachte ihre Riegel an und richtete ihre Säulen auf.	18 It was Moses who erected the Dwelling. He placed its pedestals, set up its boards, put in its bars, and set up its columns.
19 Dann breitete er das Zelt über die Wohnstätte und legte die Überdecke des Zeltes oben darauf, wie der Herr dem Moses aufgetragen.	19 He spread the tent over the Dwelling and put the covering on top of the tent, as the LORD had commanded him.
20 Dann nahm er die Gesetzestafeln und legte sie in die Lade; er steckte die Stangen an die Lade und legte die Deckplatte oben auf die Lade.	20 He took the commandments and put them in the ark; he placed poles alongside the ark and set the propitiatory upon it.
21 Die Lade brachte er in die Wohnstätte hinein, hängte den verhüllenden Vorhang auf und verhüllte so die Gesetzeslade, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen hatte.	21 He brought the ark into the Dwelling and hung the curtain veil, thus screening off the ark of the commandments, as the LORD had commanded him.
22 Dann stellte er den Tisch in das Offenbarungszelt auf die nach Norden gerichtete Seite der Wohnstätte außerhalb des Vorhangs.	22 He put the table in the meeting tent, on the north side of the Dwelling, outside the veil,
23 Darauf legte er eine Brotschicht vor dem Herrn zurecht, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen.	23 and arranged the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him.
24 Er stellte den Leuchter in das Offenbarungszelt, dem Tisch gegenüber auf die nach Süden gewendete Seite der Wohnstätte,	24 He placed the lampstand in the meeting tent, opposite the table, on the south side of the Dwelling,
25 und brachte die Lampen vor den Herrn, wie der Herr dem Moses aufgetragen.	25 and he set up the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him.
26 Dann stellte er den goldenen Altar ins Offenbarungszelt vor den Vorhang.	26 He placed the golden altar in the meeting tent, in front of the veil,
27 Er ließ auf ihm wohlriechendes Räucherwerk verbrennen, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen.	27 and on it he burned fragrant incense, as the LORD had commanded him.
28 Danach hängte er den Vorhang vor dem Eingang zur Wohnstätte auf.	28 He hung the curtain at the entrance of the Dwelling.
29 Den Brandopferaltar stellte er vor den Eingang der Wohnstätte des Offenbarungszeltes hin. Er brachte auf ihm das Brand und Speiseopfer dar, wie der Herr es dem Moses befohlen.	29 He put the altar of holocausts in front of the entrance of the Dwelling of the meeting tent, and offered holocausts and cereal offerings on it, as the LORD had commanded him.
30 Das Becken stellte er zwischen das Offenbarungszelt und den Altar und goß Wasser zum Waschen hinein.	30 He placed the laver between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it for washing.
31 Darin wuschen sich Moses, Aaron und seine Söhne ihre Hände und Füße.	31 Moses and Aaron and his sons used to wash their hands and feet there,
32 Wenn sie ins Offenbarungszelt hineingingen oder zum Altar traten, wuschen sie sich, wie der Herr es Moses angeordnet.	32 for they washed themselves whenever they went into the meeting tent or approached the altar, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
33 Schließlich richtete er den Vorhof rings um die Wohnstätte und den Altar auf. Er ließ den Vorhang des Vorhoftores aufhängen. So vollendete Moses das Werk.	33 Finally, he set up the court around the Dwelling and the altar and hung the curtain at the entrance of the court. Thus Moses finished all the work.
34 Die Wolke bedeckte das Offenbarungszelt, und die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllte die Wohnstätte.	34 Then the cloud covered the meeting tent, and the glory of the LORD filled the Dwelling.
35 Moses war nicht imstande, in das Offenbarungszelt hineinzugehen; denn es lagerte darauf die Wolke, und des Herrn Herrlichkeit erfüllte die Wohnstätte.	35 Moses could not enter the meeting tent, because the cloud settled down upon it and the glory of the LORD filled the Dwelling.
36 Wenn sich nun die Wolke von der Wohnstätte erhob, dann brachen die Israeliten bei all ihren Wegstrecken auf.	36 Whenever the cloud rose from the Dwelling, the Israelites would set out on their journey.
37 Erhob sich aber die Wolke nicht, so brachen sie auch nicht auf bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, da sie wiederum aufstieg.	37 But if the cloud did not lift, they would not go forward; only when it lifted did they go forward.
38 Denn die Wolke des Herrn war über der Wohnstätte am Tage; des Nachts aber war Feuer darin vor den Augen des gesamten Hauses Israel während ihrer ganzen Wanderung.	38 In the daytime the cloud of the LORD was seen over the Dwelling; whereas at night, fire was seen in the cloud by the whole house of Israel in all the stages of their journey.
