1 [Of David] ADORATION I offer, Yahweh,	1 Salmo di Davide O SIGNORE, io levo l’anima mia a te.
2 to you, my God. BUT in my trust in you do not put me to shame, let not my enemies gloat over me.	2 Dio mio, io mi confido in te; fa’ che io non sia confuso, E che i miei nemici non facciano festa di me.
3 CALLING to you, none shal ever be put to shame, but shame is theirs who groundlessly break faith.	3 Ed anche che niuno di quelli che sperano in te sia confuso; Sien confusi quelli che si portano dislealmente senza cagione.
4 DIRECT me in your ways, Yahweh, and teach me your paths.	4 Signore, fammi conoscere le tue vie; Insegnami i tuoi sentieri.
5 ENCOURAGE me to walk in your truth and teach me since you are the God who saves me. FOR myhope is in you all day long -- such is your generosity, Yahweh.	5 Inviami nella tua verità, ed ammaestrami; Perciocchè tu sei l’Iddio della mia salute; Io ti attendo tuttodì.
6 GOODNESS and faithful love have been yours for ever, Yahweh, do not forget them.	6 Ricordati, Signore, delle tue compassioni, e delle tue benignità; Perciocchè sono ab eterno.
7 HOLD not my youthful sins against me, but remember me as your faithful love dictates.	7 Non ridurti a memoria i peccati della mia giovanezza, Nè i miei misfatti; Secondo la tua benignità, ricordati di me, O Signore, per amore della tua bontà
8 INTEGRITY and generosity are marks of Yahweh for he brings sinners back to the path.	8 Il Signore è buono e diritto; Perciò egli insegnerà la via a’ peccatori.
9 JUDICIOUSLY he guides the humble, instructing the poor in his way.	9 Egli invierà i mansueti nella dirittura, Ed insegnerà la sua via agli umili.
10 KINDNESS unfailing and constancy mark al Yahweh's paths, for those who keep his covenant andhis decrees.	10 Tutte le vie del Signore son benignità e verità, Inverso quelli che guardano il suo patto e le sue testimonianze.
11 LET my sin, great though it is, be forgiven, Yahweh, for the sake of your name.	11 O Signore, per amor del tuo Nome, Perdonami la mia iniquità; perciocchè ella è grande.
12 MEN who respect Yahweh, what of them? He teaches them the way they must choose.	12 Chi è l’uomo che tema il Signore? Egli gl’insegnerà la via ch’egli deve eleggere.
13 NEIGHBOURS to happiness wil they live, and their children inherit the land.	13 L’anima sua dimorerà per mezzo i beni, E la sua progenie erederà la terra.
14 ONLY those who fear Yahweh have his secret and his covenant, for their understanding.	14 Il Signore dà a conoscere il suo consiglio ed il suo patto A quelli che lo temono
15 PERMANENTLY my eyes are on Yahweh, for he will free my feet from the snare.	15 I miei occhi son del continuo verso il Signore; Perciocchè egli trarrà i miei piedi della rete.
16 QUICK, turn to me, pity me, alone and wretched as I am!	16 Riguarda a me, ed abbi pietà di me; Perciocchè io son solo ed afflitto.
17 RELIEVE the distress of my heart, bring me out of my constraint.	17 Le angosce del mio cuore si sono aumentate; Trammi delle mie distrette.
18 SPARE a glance for my misery and pain, take al my sins away.	18 Vedi la mia afflizione ed il mio affanno; E perdonami tutti i miei peccati.
19 TAKE note how countless are my enemies, how violent their hatred for me.	19 Vedi i miei nemici; perciocchè son molti, E mi odiano d’un odio pieno di violenza.
20 UNLESS you guard me and rescue me I shall be put to shame, for you are my refuge.	20 Guarda l’anima mia, e riscuotimi; Fa’ che io non sia confuso; perciocchè io mi confido in te.
21 VIRTUE and integrity be my protection, for my hope, Yahweh, is in you.	21 L’integrità e la dirittura mi guardino; Perciocchè io ho sperato in te.
22 Ransom Israel, O God, from al its troubles.	22 O Dio, riscuoti Israele da tutte le sue tribolazioni
