Psalms 132

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 [Song of Ascents] Yahweh, remember David and al the hardships he endured,	1 ترنيمة المصاعد‎. ‎اذكر يا رب داود كل ذله‎.
2 the oath he swore to Yahweh, his vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:	2 ‎كيف حلف للرب نذر لعزيز يعقوب
3 'I wil not enter tent or house, wil not climb into bed,	3 لا ادخل خيمة بيتي لا اصعد على سرير فراشي
4 will not al ow myself to sleep, not even to close my eyes,	4 لا اعطي وسنا لعينيّ ولا نوما لاجفاني
5 til I have found a place for Yahweh, a dwel ing for the Mighty One of Jacob!'	5 او اجد مقاما للرب مسكنا لعزيز يعقوب‎.
6 Listen, we heard of it in Ephrathah, we found it at Forest-Fields.	6 ‎هوذا قد سمعنا به في افراتة. وجدناه في حقول الوعر‎.
7 Let us go into his dwel ing-place, and worship at his footstool.	7 ‎لندخل الى مساكنه. لنسجد عند موطئ قدميه
8 Go up, Yahweh, to your resting-place, you and the ark of your strength.	8 قم يا رب الى راحتك انت وتابوت عزك‎.
9 Your priests are robed in saving justice, your faithful are shouting for joy.	9 ‎كهنتك يلبسون البر واتقياؤك يهتفون‎.
10 For the sake of your servant David, do not reject your anointed.	10 ‎من اجل داود عبدك لا ترد وجه مسيحك‎.
11 Yahweh has sworn to David, and wil always remain true to his word, 'I promise that I wil set a sonof yours upon your throne.	11 ‎اقسم الرب لداود بالحق لا يرجع عنه. من ثمرة بطنك اجعل على كرسيك‎.
12 If your sons observe my covenant and the instructions I have taught them, their sons too forevermore wil occupy your throne.'	12 ‎ان حفظ بنوك عهدي وشهاداتي التي اعلمهم اياها فبنوهم ايضا الى الابد يجلسون على كرسيك‎.
13 For Yahweh has chosen Zion, he has desired it as a home.	13 ‎لان الرب قد اختار صهيون اشتهاها مسكنا له‎.
14 'Here shal I rest for evermore, here shal I make my home as I have wished.	14 ‎هذه هي راحتي الى الابد ههنا اسكن لاني اشتهيتها‎.
15 'I shal generously bless her produce, give her needy their fil of food,	15 ‎طعامها ابارك بركة مساكينها اشبع خبزا‎.
16 I shal clothe her priests with salvation, and her faithful wil sing aloud for joy.	16 ‎كهنتها البس خلاصا واتقياؤها يهتفون هتافا‎.
17 'There I shal raise up a line of descendants for David, light a lamp for my anointed;	17 ‎هناك انبت قرنا لداود. رتبت سراجا لمسيحي‎.
18 I shal clothe his enemies with shame, while his own crown shall flourish.'	18 ‎اعداءه البس خزيا وعليه يزهر اكليله
