Leviticus 9

1 On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons, together with the elders of Israel,	1 Or venuto l'ottavo giorno, Mosè, chiamati Aronne, i figli di lui e gli anziani di Israele, disse ad Aronne:
2 and said to Aaron, "Take a calf for a sin offering and a ram for a holocaust, both without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.	2 « Prendi dall'armento un vitello per il peccato, e un montone per l'olocausto, ambedue senza difetto, e offrili davanti al Signore.
3 Tell the elders of Israel, too: Take a he-goat for a sin offering, a calf and a lamb, both unblemished yearlings, for a holocaust,	3 E dirai ai figli d'Israele: Prendete un capro per il peccato, un vitello e un agnello d'un anno e senza difetto per l'olocausto,
4 and an ox and a ram for a peace offering, to sacrifice them before the LORD, along with a cereal offering mixed with oil; for today the LORD will reveal himself to you."	4 un bue e un montone per un sacrifizio pacifico, e immolateli dinanzi al Signore, offrendo nel sacrifizio di ciascuno di essi fior di farina intrisa con olio; perchè oggi il Signore vi apparirà ».
5 So they brought what Moses had ordered. When the whole community had come forward and stood before the LORD,	5 Essi adunque portarono tutte le cose che Mosè aveva ordinato, alla porta del Tabernacolo, dove, mentre tutta la moltitudine stava in piedi. Mosè disse:
6 Moses said, "This is what the LORD orders you to do, that the glory of the LORD may be revealed to you.	6 « Questo è il comandamento che il Signore vi ha dato: eseguitelo e la sua gloria vi apparirà ».
7 Come up to the altar," Moses then told Aaron, "and offer your sin offering and your holocaust in atonement for yourself and for your family; then present the offering of the people in atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded."	7 Poi disse ad Aronne: « Accostati all'altare e sacrifica per il tuo peccato: offri l'olocausto, e prega per te e per il popolo: immolata che avrai la vittima del popolo, prega per esso, come il Signore ha comandato ».
8 Going up to the altar, Aaron first slaughtered the calf that was his own sin offering.	8 E subito Aronne, accostatosi all'altare, immolò il vitello pel suo peccato.
9 When his sons presented the blood to him, he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. The rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.	9 I figli suoi gliene presentarono il sangue, ed egli, intinto in essi il dito, toccò i corni dell'altare, e sparse il rimanente appiè dell'altare.
10 He then burned on the altar the fat, the kidneys and the lobe of the liver that were taken from the sin offering, as the LORD had commanded Moses;	10 Ma il grasso, i reni, la rete del fegato, che sono per il peccato, lì bruciò sull'altare, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè;
11 but the flesh and the hide he burned up in the fire outside the camp.	11 invece la carne e la pelle le bruciò fuori dell'accampamento.
12 Then Aaron slaughtered his holocaust. When his sons brought him the blood, he splashed it on all sides of the altar.	12 Immolò anche la vittima dell'olocausto; i suoi figli ne presentarono il sangue che egli sparse intorno all'altare.
13 They then brought him the pieces and the head of the holocaust, and he burned them on the altar.	13 Gli presentarono pure la vittima tagliata a pezzi, il capo e tutte le membra, ed egli fece bruciar tutto ciò sull'altare,
14 Having washed the inner organs and the shanks, he burned these also with the holocaust on the altar.	14 dopo averne lavati con acqua gl'intestini e i piedi.
15 Thereupon he had the people's offering brought up. Taking the goat that was for the people's sin offering, he slaughtered it and offered it up for sin as before.	15 Sacrificando poi per il peccato del popolo, immolò il capro, ed espiato l'altare,
16 Then he brought forward the holocaust, other than the morning holocaust, and offered it in the usual manner.	16 fece l'olocausto,
17 He then presented the cereal offering; taking a handful of it, he burned it on the altar.	17 aggiungendo al sacrifizio le libazioni, che parimente sono offerte, e facendole bruciar sull'altare, oltre le cerimonie dell'olocausto del mattino.
18 Finally he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the peace offering of the people. When his sons brought him the blood, Aaron splashed it on all sides of the altar.	18 Immolò pure il bue e il montone, ostie pacifiche del popolo; i suoi figli ne presentarono il sangue che egli sparse sull'altare, tutto all'intorno.
19 The portions of fat from the ox and from the ram, the fatty tail, the fatty membrane over the inner organs, the two kidneys, with the fat that is on them, and the lobe of the liver,	19 Ma il grasso del bove, la coda del montone, i reni col loro grasso, e la rete del fegato
20 he placed on top of the breasts and burned them on the altar,	20 li posero sopra i petti; e, quando sopra l'altare furono bruciati i grassi,
21 having first waved the breasts and the right legs as a wave offering before the LORD, in keeping with the LORD'S command to Moses.	21 Aronne mise a parte i petti e le spalle destre, alzandoli davanti al Signore, come Mosè aveva ordinato.
22 Aaron then raised his hands over the people and blessed them. When he came down from offering the sin offering and holocaust and peace offering,	22 Poi, stesa la mano verso il popolo, lo benedisse. E così, dopo aver compiuto il sacrifizio per il peccato, l'olocausto e l'oblazione dell'ostie pacifiche, discese.
23 Moses and Aaron went into the meeting tent. On coming out they again blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD was revealed to all the people.	23 Intanto Mosè ed Aronne entrarono nel Tabernacolo della testimonianza, dal quale poi usciti, benedissero il popolo, E la gloria del Signore apparve a tutta la moltitudine:
24 Fire came forth from the LORD'S presence and consumed the holocaust and the remnants of the fat on the altar. Seeing this, all the people cried out and fell prostrate.	24 un fuoco, uscito dal Signore, divorò l'olocausto c tutti i grassi che erano sull'altare. La qual cosa avendo veduto il popolo, diede lode al Signore, gettandosi bocconi per terra.
