1 On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons, together with the elders of Israel,	1 El día octavo Moisés llamó a Aarón y a sus hijos, y a los ancianos de Israel.
2 and said to Aaron, "Take a calf for a sin offering and a ram for a holocaust, both without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.	2 Dijo a Aarón: «Trae un becerro para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero para el holocausto, ambos sin defecto, para ofrecerlos ante Yahveh.
3 Tell the elders of Israel, too: Take a he-goat for a sin offering, a calf and a lamb, both unblemished yearlings, for a holocaust,	3 Hablarás a los israelitas, diciendo: “Tomad un macho cabrío para el sacrificio por el pecado y un becerro y un cordero, ambos de un año y sin defecto, para el holocausto;
4 and an ox and a ram for a peace offering, to sacrifice them before the LORD, along with a cereal offering mixed with oil; for today the LORD will reveal himself to you."	4 para los sacrificios de comunión, un toro y un carnero, que se sacrificarán ante Yahveh; y una oblación amasada con aceite. Cierto que hoy se os mostrará Yahveh.”»
5 So they brought what Moses had ordered. When the whole community had come forward and stood before the LORD,	5 Trajeron, pues, ante la Tienda del Encuentro lo que Moisés había mandado; toda la comunidad se acercó y se mantuvo delante de Yahveh.
6 Moses said, "This is what the LORD orders you to do, that the glory of the LORD may be revealed to you.	6 Dijo entonces Moisés: «Esto es lo que ha mandado Yahveh; hacedlo y se os mostrará la gloria de Yahveh.»
7 Come up to the altar," Moses then told Aaron, "and offer your sin offering and your holocaust in atonement for yourself and for your family; then present the offering of the people in atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded."	7 Después Moisés dijo a Aarón: «Acércate al altar, ofrece tu sacrificio por el pecado y tu holocausto, y haz la expiación por ti mismo y por tu casa; presenta también la ofrenda del pueblo y haz la expiación por ellos, como Yahveh lo ha prescrito.»
8 Going up to the altar, Aaron first slaughtered the calf that was his own sin offering.	8 Acercóse, pues, Aarón al altar e inmoló el becerro del sacrificio por su propio pecado.
9 When his sons presented the blood to him, he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. The rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.	9 Los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre; y él, mojando su dedo en la sangre, untó con ella los cuernos del altar y derramó la sangre al pie del altar.
10 He then burned on the altar the fat, the kidneys and the lobe of the liver that were taken from the sin offering, as the LORD had commanded Moses;	10 Luego quemó sobre el altar el sebo, los riñones y lo que queda junto al hígado de la víctima por el pecado, como Yahveh había mandado a Moisés;
11 but the flesh and the hide he burned up in the fire outside the camp.	11 pero quemó la carne y la piel fuera del campamento.
12 Then Aaron slaughtered his holocaust. When his sons brought him the blood, he splashed it on all sides of the altar.	12 Después inmoló la víctima del holocausto y los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre, que derramó sobre todos los lados del altar.
13 They then brought him the pieces and the head of the holocaust, and he burned them on the altar.	13 Le presentaron la víctima del holocausto en trozos, juntamente con la cabeza, y lo quemó todo sobre el altar.
14 Having washed the inner organs and the shanks, he burned these also with the holocaust on the altar.	14 Y habiendo lavado las entrañas y las patas, las quemó encima del holocausto sobre el altar.
15 Thereupon he had the people's offering brought up. Taking the goat that was for the people's sin offering, he slaughtered it and offered it up for sin as before.	15 Después presentó la ofrenda del pueblo: tomó el macho cabrío correspondiente al sacrificio por el pecado del pueblo, lo inmoló y lo sacrificó como el primero.
16 Then he brought forward the holocaust, other than the morning holocaust, and offered it in the usual manner.	16 Ofreció el holocausto, haciéndolo según la norma.
17 He then presented the cereal offering; taking a handful of it, he burned it on the altar.	17 Además presentó lo oblación. Tomando un puñado de ella, la quemó en el altar encima del holocausto de la mañana.
18 Finally he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the peace offering of the people. When his sons brought him the blood, Aaron splashed it on all sides of the altar.	18 Inmoló asimismo el toro y el carnero como sacrificio de comunión por el pueblo. Los hijos de Aarón le entregaron la sangre, que él derramó sobre todos los lados del altar.
19 The portions of fat from the ox and from the ram, the fatty tail, the fatty membrane over the inner organs, the two kidneys, with the fat that is on them, and the lobe of the liver,	19 En cuanto a las partes grasas del toro y del carnero, el rabo, el sebo que cubre las entrañas, los riñones y lo que queda junto al hígado,
20 he placed on top of the breasts and burned them on the altar,	20 las puso sobre los pechos de las víctimas, y él las quemó sobre el altar;
21 having first waved the breasts and the right legs as a wave offering before the LORD, in keeping with the LORD'S command to Moses.	21 Aarón por su parte meció los pechos y la pierna derecha como ofrenda mecida ante Yahveh conforme Moisés había mandado.
22 Aaron then raised his hands over the people and blessed them. When he came down from offering the sin offering and holocaust and peace offering,	22 Entonces Aarón, alzando las manos hacia el pueblo, lo bendijo; después de haber acabado el sacrificio por el pecado, el holocausto y el sacrificio de comunión, descendió.
23 Moses and Aaron went into the meeting tent. On coming out they again blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD was revealed to all the people.	23 Luego Moisés y Aarón entraron en la Tienda del Encuentro y, cuando salieron, bendijeron al pueblo. La gloria de Yahveh se dejó ver de todo el pueblo.
24 Fire came forth from the LORD'S presence and consumed the holocaust and the remnants of the fat on the altar. Seeing this, all the people cried out and fell prostrate.	24 Salió fuego de la presencia de Yahveh que consumió el holocausto y las partes grasas puestas sobre el altar. Todo el pueblo al verlo prorrumpió en gritos de júbilo y cayó rostro en tierra.
