3 Die Söhne Judas waren: Ger, Onan und Sela; diese drei wurden ihm von der Tochter der Kanaanitin Sua geboren. Ger aber, der erstgeborene Sohn Judas, machte sich dem HERRN verhaßt; darum ließ er ihn sterben.	3 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah; these three Bath-shua the Canaanitess bore to him. 11 und Nahasson zeugte Salma; Salma zeugte Boas,	11 Nahshon was the father of Salma, Salma of Boaz,
12 Boas zeugte Obed, Obed zeugte Isai;	12 Boaz of Obed, Obed of Jesse.
13 Isai zeugte Eliab, seinen Erstgeborenen, und Abinadab als zweiten, Simea als dritten,	13 Jesse was the father of Eliab his first-born, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,
14 Nethaneel als vierten, Raddai als fünften,	14 Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 Ozem als sechsten, David als siebten.	15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;
16 Und ihre Schwestern waren: Zeruja und Abigail; und die Söhne der Zeruja waren: Abisai, Joab und Asahel, die drei.	16 and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three.
17 Abigail aber gebar Amasa, und der Vater Amasas war der Ismaelit Jether.	17 Abigail bore Amasa, and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
18 Kaleb aber, der Sohn Hezrons, hatte Kinder von seiner Frau Asuba und von Jerigoth; und dies sind deren Söhne: Jeser, Sobab und Ardon.	18 Caleb the son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Nach dem Tode der Asuba aber heiratete Kaleb die Ephrath; die gebar ihm den Hur.	19 When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
20 Hur aber zeugte Uri, und Uri zeugte Bezaleel. –	20 Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.
21 Darnach verband sich Hezron mit der Tochter Machirs, des Vaters Gileads, und heiratete sie, als er sechzig Jahre alt war; die gebar ihm den Segub.	21 Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub;
22 Segub zeugte dann Jair; der besaß dreiundzwanzig Städte im Lande Gilead;	22 and Segub was the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.
23 aber die Gesuriter und Syrer nahmen ihnen die Jairdörfer weg, Kenath mit den zugehörigen Ortschaften, sechzig Städte. Diese alle waren Söhne Machirs, des Vaters Gileads.	23 But Geshur and Aram took from them Havvoth-jair, Kenath and its villages, sixty towns. All these were descendants of Machir, the father of Gilead.
24 Und nach dem Tode Hezrons in Kaleb Ephratha gebar Abia, Hezrons Frau, ihm Ashur, den Stammvater von Thekoa.	24 After the death of Hezron, Caleb went in to Ephrathah, the wife of Hezron his father, and she bore him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.
25 Die Söhne Jerahmeels, des ältesten Sohnes Hezrons, waren: der Erstgeborene Ram, sodann Buna, Oren und Ozem von Ahija (oder: seine Brüder?).	25 The sons of Jerahmeel, the first-born of Hezron: Ram, his first-born, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.
26 Jerahmeel hatte aber noch eine andere Frau namens Atara; diese war die Mutter Onams. –	26 Jerahmeel also had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 Die Söhne Rams, des erstgeborenen Sohnes Jerahmeels, waren: Maaz, Jamin und Eker. –	27 The sons of Ram, the first-born of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.
28 Die Söhne Onams waren: Sammai und Jada; und die Söhne Sammais: Nadab und Abisur.	28 The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 Die Frau Abisurs aber hieß Abihail; die gebar ihm den Achban und Molid.	29 The name of Abishur's wife was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid.
30 Und die Söhne Nadabs waren: Seled und Appaim; Seled aber starb kinderlos. –	30 The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appa-im; and Seled died childless.
31 Und die Söhne Appaims waren: Jisei; und die Söhne Jiseis: Sesan; und die Söhne Sesans: Achlai. –	31 The sons of Appa-im: Ishi. The sons of Ishi: Sheshan. The sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 Die Söhne Jadas, des Bruders Sammais, waren: Jether und Jonathan; Jether aber starb kinderlos.	32 The sons of Jada, Shammai's brother: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died childless.
33 Die Söhne Jonathans waren: Peleth und Sasa. Dies waren die Söhne Jerahmeels. –	33 The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.
34 Sesan hatte keine Söhne, sondern nur Töchter; er hatte aber einen ägyptischen Knecht namens Jarha.	34 Now Sheshan had no sons, only daughters; but Sheshan had an Egyptian slave, whose name was Jarha.
35 Diesem gab Sesan seine Tochter zur Frau; die gebar ihm Atthai.	35 So Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to Jarha his slave; and she bore him Attai.
36 Atthai zeugte dann Nathan, und Nathan zeugte Sabad;	36 Attai was the father of Nathan and Nathan of Zabad.
37 Sabad zeugte Ephlal, Ephlal zeugte Obed,	37 Zabad was the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal of Obed.
38 Obed zeugte Jehu, Jehu zeugte Asarja,	38 Obed was the father of Jehu, and Jehu of Azariah.
39 Asarja zeugte Helez, Helez zeugte Elasa,	39 Azariah was the father of Helez, and Helez of Ele-asah.
40 Elasa zeugte Sisemai, Sisemai zeugte Sallum,	40 Ele-asah was the father of Sismai, and Sismai of Shallum.
41 Sallum zeugte Jekamja, Jekamja zeugte Elisama.	41 Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah of Elishama.
42 Die Söhne Kalebs, des Bruders Jerahmeels, waren: sein Erstgeborener Mesa – der ist der Vater Siphs – und die Söhne Maresas, des Vaters von Hebron.	42 The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mareshah his first-born, who was the father of Ziph. The sons of Mareshah: Hebron.
43 Die Söhne Hebrons waren: Korah, Thappuah, Rekem und Sema.	43 The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.
44 Sema aber zeugte Raham, den Vater Jorkeams; und Rekem zeugte Sammai.	44 Shema was the father of Raham, the father of Jorke-am; and Rekem was the father of Shammai.
45 Der Sohn Sammais war Maon, und Maon war der Vater Beth-Zurs. –	45 The son of Shammai: Maon; and Maon was the father of Bethzur.
46 Und Epha, das Nebenweib Kalebs, gebar Haran, Moza und Gases; Haran aber zeugte Gases. –	46 Ephah also, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran was the father of Gazez.
47 Und die Söhne Jahdais waren: Regem, Jotham, Geesan, Pelet, Epha und Saaph. –	47 The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Maacha, das Nebenweib Kalebs, gebar Seber und Thirhana;	48 Maacah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 sie gebar auch Saaph, den Vater Madmannas, und Sewa, den Vater Machbenas und den Vater Gibeas; und die Tochter Kalebs war Achsa.	49 She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah and the father of Gibe-a; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50 Dies waren die Söhne Kalebs. Die Söhne Hurs, des Erstgeborenen von der Ephratha, waren: Sobal, der Stammvater von Kirjath-Jearim,	50 These were the descendants of Caleb. The sons of Hur the first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,
51 Salma, der Stammvater von Bethlehem, Hareph, der Stammvater von Beth-Gader.	51 Salma, the father of Bethelem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52 Und Sobal, der Stammvater von Kirjath-Jearim, hatte als Söhne: Haroe, halb Menuhoth (?);	52 Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had other sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.
53 und die Geschlechter von Kirjath-Jearim waren: die Jithriter, die Puthiter, die Sumathiter und die Misraiter; von diesen sind die Zorathiter und die Esthauliter ausgegangen. –	53 And the families of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishra-ites; from these came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
54 Die Söhne Salmas waren: Bethlehem und die Netophathiter, Ateroth, Beth-Joab und die Hälfte der Manahthiter, die Zoreiter;	54 The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
55 und die Geschlechter der Schriftgelehrten, die in Jabez wohnten: die Thireathiter, die Simeathiter und die Suchathiter. Das sind die Kiniter, die von Hammath, dem Stammvater des Hauses Rechab, abstammen.	55 The families also of the scribes that dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shime-athites, and the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
