1 αυται δε αι γενεσεις των υιων νωε σημ χαμ ιαφεθ και εγενηθησαν αυτοις υιοι μετα τον κατακλυσμον	1 These are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and of the sons who were born to them after the great flood.
2 υιοι ιαφεθ γαμερ και μαγωγ και μαδαι και ιωυαν και ελισα και θοβελ και μοσοχ και θιρας	2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 και υιοι γαμερ ασχαναζ και ριφαθ και θοργαμα	3 And then the sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 και υιοι ιωυαν ελισα και θαρσις κιτιοι ροδιοι	4 And the sons of Javan were Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
5 εκ τουτων αφωρισθησαν νησοι των εθνων εν τη γη αυτων εκαστος κατα γλωσσαν εν ταις φυλαις αυτων και εν τοις εθνεσιν αυτων	5 The islands of the Gentiles were divided by these into their regions, each one according to his tongue, and their families in their nations.
6 υιοι δε χαμ χους και μεσραιμ φουδ και χανααν	6 And the Sons of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
7 υιοι δε χους σαβα και ευιλα και σαβαθα και ρεγμα και σαβακαθα υιοι δε ρεγμα σαβα και δαδαν	7 And the sons of Cush were Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dadan.
8 χους δε εγεννησεν τον νεβρωδ ουτος ηρξατο ειναι γιγας επι της γης	8 And then Cush conceived Nimrod; he began to be powerful on the earth.
9 ουτος ην γιγας κυνηγος εναντιον κυριου του θεου δια τουτο ερουσιν ως νεβρωδ γιγας κυνηγος εναντιον κυριου	9 And he was an able hunter before the Lord. From this, a proverb came forth: ‘Just like Nimrod, an able hunter before the Lord.’
10 και εγενετο αρχη της βασιλειας αυτου βαβυλων και ορεχ και αρχαδ και χαλαννη εν τη γη σεννααρ	10 And so, the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, and Erech, and Accad, and Chalanne, in the land of Shinar.
11 εκ της γης εκεινης εξηλθεν ασσουρ και ωκοδομησεν την νινευη και την ροωβωθ πολιν και την χαλαχ	11 From that land, Assur came forth, and he built Nineveh, and the streets of the city, and Calah,
12 και την δασεμ ανα μεσον νινευη και ανα μεσον χαλαχ αυτη η πολις η μεγαλη	12 and also Resen, between Nineveh and Calah. This is a great city.
13 και μεσραιμ εγεννησεν τους λουδιιμ και τους ενεμετιιμ και τους λαβιιμ και τους νεφθαλιιμ	13 And truly, Mizraim conceived Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, Naphtuhim,
14 και τους πατροσωνιιμ και τους χασλωνιιμ οθεν εξηλθεν εκειθεν φυλιστιιμ και τους καφθοριιμ	14 and Pathrusim, and Casluhim, from whom came forth the Philistines and the Caphtorim.
15 χανααν δε εγεννησεν τον σιδωνα πρωτοτοκον και τον χετταιον	15 Then Canaan conceived Sidon his firstborn, the Hittite,
16 και τον ιεβουσαιον και τον αμορραιον και τον γεργεσαιον	16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, the Girgashite,
17 και τον ευαιον και τον αρουκαιον και τον ασενναιον	17 the Hivite, and the Arkite: the Sinite,
18 και τον αραδιον και τον σαμαραιον και τον αμαθι και μετα τουτο διεσπαρησαν αι φυλαι των χαναναιων	18 and the Arvadian, the Samarite, and the Hamathite. And after this, the peoples of the Canaanites became widespread.
19 και εγενοντο τα ορια των χαναναιων απο σιδωνος εως ελθειν εις γεραρα και γαζαν εως ελθειν σοδομων και γομορρας αδαμα και σεβωιμ εως λασα	19 And the borders of Chanaan went, as one travels, from Sidon to Gerar, even to Gaza, until one enters Sodom and Gomorrah, and from Admah and Zeboiim, even to Lesa.
20 ουτοι υιοι χαμ εν ταις φυλαις αυτων κατα γλωσσας αυτων εν ταις χωραις αυτων και εν τοις εθνεσιν αυτων	20 These are the sons of Ham in their kindred, and tongues, and generations, and lands, and nations.
21 και τω σημ εγενηθη και αυτω πατρι παντων των υιων εβερ αδελφω ιαφεθ του μειζονος	21 Likewise, from Shem, the father of all the sons of Heber, the elder brother of Japheth, sons were born.
22 υιοι σημ αιλαμ και ασσουρ και αρφαξαδ και λουδ και αραμ και καιναν	22 The sons of Shem were Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23 και υιοι αραμ ως και ουλ και γαθερ και μοσοχ	23 The sons of Aram were Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24 και αρφαξαδ εγεννησεν τον καιναν και καιναν εγεννησεν τον σαλα σαλα δε εγεννησεν τον εβερ	24 But truly, Arphaxad conceived Shelah, from whom was born Eber.
25 και τω εβερ εγενηθησαν δυο υιοι ονομα τω ενι φαλεκ οτι εν ταις ημεραις αυτου διεμερισθη η γη και ονομα τω αδελφω αυτου ιεκταν	25 And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth became divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan.
26 ιεκταν δε εγεννησεν τον ελμωδαδ και τον σαλεφ και ασαρμωθ και ιαραχ	26 This Joktan conceived Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, Jerah
27 και οδορρα και αιζηλ και δεκλα	27 and Hadoram, and Uzal and Diklah,
28 και αβιμεηλ και σαβευ	28 and Obal and Abimael, Sheba
29 και ουφιρ και ευιλα και ιωβαβ παντες ουτοι υιοι ιεκταν	29 and Ophir, and Havilah and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
30 και εγενετο η κατοικησις αυτων απο μασση εως ελθειν εις σωφηρα ορος ανατολων	30 And their habitation extended from Messa, as one sojourns, even to Sephar, a mountain in the east.
31 ουτοι υιοι σημ εν ταις φυλαις αυτων κατα γλωσσας αυτων εν ταις χωραις αυτων και εν τοις εθνεσιν αυτων	31 These are the sons of Shem according to their kindred, and tongues, and the regions within their nations.
32 αυται αι φυλαι υιων νωε κατα γενεσεις αυτων κατα τα εθνη αυτων απο τουτων διεσπαρησαν νησοι των εθνων επι της γης μετα τον κατακλυσμον	32 These are the families of Noah, according to their peoples and nations. The nations became divided according to these, on the earth after the great flood.
