Psalms 36

1 Unto the end, for the servant of God, David himself.	1 Del maestro de coro. Del siervo de Yahveh. De David.
2 The unjust hath said within himself, that he would sin : there is no fear of God before his eyes.	2 Un oráculo para el impío es el pecado en el fondo de su corazón; temor de Dios no existe delante de sus ojos.
3 For in his sight he hath done deceitfully, that his iniquity may be found unto hatred.	3 Con ojo harto lisonjero se mira, para encontrar y detestar su culpa;
4 The words of his mouth are iniquity and guile : he would not understand that he might do well.	4 las palabras de su boca, iniquidad y engaño; renunció a ser sensato, a hacer el bien.
5 He hath devised iniquity on his bed, he hath set himself on every way that is not good : but evil he hath not hated.	5 Sólo maquina iniquidad sobre su lecho; en un camino que no es bueno se obstina y no reprueba el mal.
6 O Lord, thy mercy is in heaven, and thy truth reacheth, even to the clouds.	6 Oh Yahveh, en los cielos tu amor, hasta las nubes tu verdad;
7 Thy justice is as the mountains of God, thy judgments are a great deep. Men and beasts thou wilt preserve, O Lord :	7 tu justicia, como los montes de Dios, tus juicios, como el hondo abismo. A hombres y bestias salvas tú, Yahveh,
8 O how hast thou multiplied thy mercy, O God! But the children of men shall put their trust under the covert of thy wings.	8 oh Dios, ¡qué precioso tu amor! Por eso los hijos de Adán, a la sombra de tus alas se cobijan.
9 They shall be inebriated with the plenty of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the torrent of thy pleasure.	9 Se sacian de la grasa de tu Casa, en el torrente de tus delicias los abrevas;
10 For with thee is the fountain of life; and in thy light we shall see light.	10 en ti está la fuente de la vida, y en tu luz vemos la luz.
11 Extend thy mercy to them that know thee, and thy justice to them that are right in heart.	11 Guarda tu amor a los que te conocen, y tu justicia a los de recto corazón.
12 Let not the foot of pride come to me, and let not the hand of the sinner move me.	12 ¡Que el pie del orgullo no me alcance, ni la mano de los impíos me avente!
13 There the workers of iniquity are fallen, they are cast out, and could not stand.	13 Ved cómo caen los agentes de mal, abatidos, no pueden levantarse.
