1 El Señor dijo a Moisés:	1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 Comunica esta orden a los israelitas: Cuando entren en la tierra de Canaán, recibirán como herencia toda la extensión del territorio de Canaán, a saber:	2 "Give the Israelites this order: When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the territory that shall fall to you as your heritage--the land of Canaan with its boundaries:
3 La región meridional se extenderá desde el desierto de Sin, a lo largo de Edom. Por el este, la frontera meridional comenzará en el extremo del mar de la Sal.	3 "Your southern boundary shall be at the desert of Zin along the border of Edom; on the east it shall begin at the end of the Salt Sea,
4 Luego dará una vuelta por el sur hasta el Paso de los Escorpiones, y pasará por Sin, para ir a terminar al sur de Cades Barné. Después continuará hasta Jasar Adar y pasará por Asmón.	4 and turning south of the Akrabbim Pass, it shall cross Zin, and extend south of Kadesh-barnea to Hazar-addar; thence it shall cross to Azmon,
5 Partiendo de Asmón, dará una vuelta hasta el Torrente de Egipto y terminará en el Mar.	5 and turning from Azmon to the Wadi of Egypt, shall terminate at the Sea.
6 Al oeste tendrán como límite la costa del Mar Grande: esta será para ustedes la frontera occidental.	6 "For your western boundary you shall have the Great Sea with its coast; this shall be your western boundary.
7 La frontera norte la siguiente: trazarán una línea desde el Mar hasta el monte Hor;	7 "The following shall be your boundary on the north: from the Great Sea you shall draw a line to Mount Hor,
8 desde el monte Hor trazarán una línea hasta la Entrada de Jamat, y la frontera terminará en Sedad.	8 and shall continue it from Mount Hor to Labo in the land of Hamath, with the boundary extending through Zedad.
9 Luego continuará hasta Sifrón, para ir a terminar en Jasar Enán. Esta será la frontera septentrional.	9 Thence the boundary shall reach to Ziphron and terminate at Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern boundary.
10 Para fijar el límite oriental, trazarán una línea desde Jasar Enán hasta Sefam.	10 "For your eastern boundary you shall draw a line from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
11 Desde Sefam, la frontera bajará hasta Riblá, al este de Ain, y desde allí seguirá bajando hasta tocar la costa oriental del mar de Genesaret.	11 From Shepham the boundary shall go down to Ar-Baal, east of Ain, and descending further, shall strike the ridge on the east side of the Sea of Chinnereth;
12 Después bajará a lo largo del Jordán y terminará en el mar de la Sal. Este será el territorio de ustedes, con las fronteras que lo circunscriben.	12 thence the boundary shall continue along the Jordan and terminate with the Salt Sea. "This is the land that shall be yours, with the boundaries that surround it."
13 Además, Moisés dio esta orden a los israelitas: Esta es la tierra que ustedes se repartirán como herencia por medio de un sorteo, la que el Señor manó fuera entregada a las nueve tribus y media.	13 Moses also gave this order to the Israelites: "This is the land, to be apportioned among you by lot, which the LORD has commanded to be given to the nine and one half tribes.
14 Porque las familias patriarcales de la tribu de los rubenitas, las familias de la tribu de los gaditas y la mitad de la tribu de Manasés ya recibieron su herencia:	14 For all the ancestral houses of the tribe of Reuben, and the ancestral houses of the tribe of Gad, as well as half of the tribe of Manasseh, have already received their heritage;
15 esas dos tribus y media recibieron su propiedad hereditaria al otro lado del Jordán, al este de Jericó, en la parte oriental.	15 these two and one half tribes have received their heritage on the eastern side of the Jericho stretch of the Jordan, toward the sunrise."
16 Luego el Señor dijo a Moisés:	16 The LORD said to Moses,
17 Las personas que les repartirán el territorio serán el sacerdote Eleazar y Josué, hijo de Nun.	17 "These are the names of the men who shall apportion the land among you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua, son of Nun,
18 Además, ustedes tomarán un jefe de cada tribu para la repartición del país.	18 and one prince from each of the tribes whom you shall designate for this task.
19 Los nombres de esas personas son los siguientes: Por la tribu de Judá, Caleb, hijo de Iefuné;	19 These shall be as follows: from the tribe of Judah: Caleb, son of Jephunneh,
20 por la tribu de Simeón, Semuel, hijo de Amihud;	20 from the tribe of Simeon: Samuel, son of Ammihud;
21 por la tribu de Benjamín, Elidad, hijo de Quislón;	21 from the tribe of Benjamin: Elidad, son of Chislon;
22 por la tribu de Dan, el jefe Buquí, hijo de Ioglí;	22 from the tribe of Dan: Bukki, son of Jogli;
23 por las tribus de los hijos de José: el jefe Janiel, hijo de Efod, por la tribu de Manasés;	23 from the tribe of Manasseh: Hanniel, son of Ephod; and
24 y el jefe Quemuel, hijo de Siftán, por la tribu de Efraím;	24 from the tribe of Ephraim: Kemuel, son of Shiphtan, for the descendants of Joseph;
25 por la tribu de Zabulón, el jefe Elisafán, hijo de Parnac;	25 from the tribe of Zebulun: Elizaphan, son of Parnach;
26 por la tribu de Isacar, el jefe Paltiel, hijo de Azán;	26 from the tribe of Issachar: Paltiel, son of Azzan;
27 por la tribu de Aser, el jefe Ajihud, hijo de Selomí;	27 from the tribe of Asher: Ahihud, son of Shelomi;
28 por la tribu de Neftalí, el jefe Padael, hijo de Amihud.	28 from the tribe of Naphtali: Pedahel, son of Ammihud."
29 Estas son las personas que designó el Señor para repartir el territorio de Canaán como herencia entre los israelitas.	29 These are they whom the LORD commanded to assign the Israelites their heritage in the land of Canaan.
