1 Psaume de David. Je veux chanter la bonté, la justice, mon psaume sera pour toi, Seigneur.	1 A psalm of David. I sing of love and justice; to you, LORD, I sing praise.
2 Je veux m’entraîner pour la voie parfaite; mais toi, viendras-tu vers moi? Je n’aurai que des intentions droites pour agir en ma maison.	2 I follow the way of integrity; when will you come to me? I act with integrity of heart within my royal court.
3 Je n’aurai rien en vue qui puisse être mauvais. Je hais la conduite des dévoyés, elle ne prendra pas sur moi.	3 I do not allow into my presence anyone who speaks perversely. Whoever acts shamefully I hate; no such person can be my friend.
4 L’homme au cœur pervers devra s’écarter: je ne veux rien savoir du mal.	4 I shun the devious of heart; the wicked I do not tolerate.
5 Celui qui diffame en secret son prochain, je le ferai taire. L’homme aux yeux arrogants, plein d’orgueil en son cœur, je ne le supporterai pas.	5 Whoever slanders another in secret I reduce to silence. Haughty eyes and arrogant hearts I cannot endure.
6 Je chercherai en ce pays parmi tes fidèles ceux qui demeureront avec moi. Celui qui suit la voie parfaite, je le mettrai à mon service.	6 I look to the faithful of the land; they alone can be my companions. Those who follow the way of integrity, they alone can enter my service.
7 Je ne garderai pas dans ma maison un homme qui agit par-dessous: celui qui ment devra laisser sa place: je ne veux pas le voir.	7 No one who practices deceit can hold a post in my court. No one who speaks falsely can be among my advisors.
8 Tous les matins je nettoierai, je supprimerai les méchants du pays, pour en finir, dans la cité de Dieu, avec tous ceux qui font le mal.	8 Each morning I clear the wicked from the land, and rid the LORD'S city of all evildoers.
