1 Потом [Иисус] вошел в Иерихон и проходил через него.	1 And having entered, he walked through Jericho.
2 И вот, некто, именем Закхей, начальник мытарей и человек богатый,	2 And behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus. And he was the leader of the tax collectors, and he was wealthy.
3 искал видеть Иисуса, кто Он, но не мог за народом, потому что мал был ростом,	3 And he sought to see Jesus, to see who he was. But he was unable to do so, because of the crowd, for he was small in stature.
4 и, забежав вперед, взлез на смоковницу, чтобы увидеть Его, потому что Ему надлежало проходить мимо нее.	4 And running ahead, he climbed up a sycamore tree, so that he might see him. For he was to pass near there.
5 Иисус, когда пришел на это место, взглянув, увидел его и сказал ему: Закхей! сойди скорее, ибо сегодня надобно Мне быть у тебя в доме.	5 And when he had arrived at the place, Jesus looked up and saw him, and he said to him: “Zacchaeus, hurry down. For today, I should lodge in your house.”
6 И он поспешно сошел и принял Его с радостью.	6 And hurrying, he came down, and he received him joyfully.
7 И все, видя то, начали роптать, и говорили, что Он зашел к грешному человеку;	7 And when they all saw this, they murmured, saying that he had turned aside to a sinful man.
8 Закхей же, став, сказал Господу: Господи! половину имения моего я отдам нищим, и, если кого чем обидел, воздам вчетверо.	8 But Zacchaeus, standing still, said to the Lord: “Behold, Lord, one half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have cheated anyone in any matter, I will repay him fourfold.”
9 Иисус сказал ему: ныне пришло спасение дому сему, потому что и он сын Авраама,	9 Jesus said to him: “Today, salvation has come to this house; because of this, he too is a son of Abraham.
10 ибо Сын Человеческий пришел взыскать и спасти погибшее.	10 For the Son of man has come to seek and to save what had been lost.”
11 Когда же они слушали это, присовокупил притчу: ибо Он был близ Иерусалима, и они думали, что скоро должно открыться Царствие Божие.	11 As they were listening to these things, continuing on, he spoke a parable, because he was nearing Jerusalem, and because they guessed that the kingdom of God might be manifested without delay.
12 Итак сказал: некоторый человек высокого рода отправлялся в дальнюю страну, чтобы получить себе царство и возвратиться;	12 Therefore, he said: “A certain man of nobility traveled to a far away region, to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
13 призвав же десять рабов своих, дал им десять мин и сказал им: употребляйте их в оборот, пока я возвращусь.	13 And calling his ten servants, he gave them ten pounds, and he said to them: ‘Do business until I return.’
14 Но граждане ненавидели его и отправили вслед за ним посольство, сказав: не хотим, чтобы он царствовал над нами.	14 But his citizens hated him. And so they sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this one to reign over us.’
15 И когда возвратился, получив царство, велел призвать к себе рабов тех, которым дал серебро, чтобы узнать, кто что приобрел.	15 And it happened that he returned, having received the kingdom. And he ordered the servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called so that he would know how much each one had earned by doing business.
16 Пришел первый и сказал: господин! мина твоя принесла десять мин.	16 Now the first approached, saying: ‘Lord, your one pound has earned ten pounds.’
17 И сказал ему: хорошо, добрый раб! за то, что ты в малом был верен, возьми в управление десять городов.	17 And he said to him: ‘Well done, good servant. Since you have been faithful in a small matter, you will hold authority over ten cities.’
18 Пришел второй и сказал: господин! мина твоя принесла пять мин.	18 And the second came, saying: ‘Lord, your one pound has earned five pounds.’
19 Сказал и этому: и ты будь над пятью городами.	19 And he said to him, ‘And so, you shall be over five cities.’
20 Пришел третий и сказал: господин! вот твоя мина, которую я хранил, завернув в платок,	20 And another approached, saying: ‘Lord, behold your one pound, which I kept stored in a cloth.
21 ибо я боялся тебя, потому что ты человек жестокий: берешь, чего не клал, и жнешь, чего не сеял.	21 For I feared you, because you are an austere man. You take up what you did not lay down, and you reap what you did not sow.’
22 [Господин] сказал ему: твоими устами буду судить тебя, лукавый раб! ты знал, что я человек жестокий, беру, чего не клал, и жну, чего не сеял;	22 He said to him: ‘By your own mouth, do I judge you, O wicked servant. You knew that I am an austere man, taking up what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow.
23 для чего же ты не отдал серебра моего в оборот, чтобы я, придя, получил его с прибылью?	23 And so, why did you not give my money to the bank, so that, upon my return, I might have withdrawn it with interest?’
24 И сказал предстоящим: возьмите у него мину и дайте имеющему десять мин.	24 And he said to the bystanders, ‘Take the pound away from him, and give it to him who has ten pounds.’
25 И сказали ему: господин! у него есть десять мин.	25 And they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten pounds.’
26 Сказываю вам, что всякому имеющему дано будет, а у неимеющего отнимется и то, что имеет;	26 So then, I say to you, that to all who have, it shall be given, and he will have in abundance. And from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
27 врагов же моих тех, которые не хотели, чтобы я царствовал над ними, приведите сюда и избейте предо мною.	27 ‘Yet truly, as for those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here, and put them to death before me.’ ”
28 Сказав это, Он пошел далее, восходя в Иерусалим.	28 And having said these things, he went ahead, ascending to Jerusalem.
29 И когда приблизился к Виффагии и Вифании, к горе, называемой Елеонскою, послал двух учеников Своих,	29 And it happened that, when he had drawn near to Bethphage and Bethania, to the mount which is called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,
30 сказав: пойдите в противолежащее селение; войдя в него, найдете молодого осла привязанного, на которого никто из людей никогда не садился; отвязав его, приведите;	30 saying: “Go into the town which is opposite you. Upon entering it, you will find the colt of a donkey, tied, on which no man has ever sat. Untie it, and lead it here.
31 и если кто спросит вас: зачем отвязываете? скажите ему так: он надобен Господу.	31 And if anyone will ask you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ you shall say this to him: ‘Because the Lord has requested its service.’ ”
32 Посланные пошли и нашли, как Он сказал им.	32 And those who were sent went out, and they found the colt standing, just as he told them.
33 Когда же они отвязывали молодого осла, хозяева его сказали им: зачем отвязываете осленка?	33 Then, as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
34 Они отвечали: он надобен Господу.	34 So they said, “Because the Lord has need of it.”
35 И привели его к Иисусу, и, накинув одежды свои на осленка, посадили на него Иисуса.	35 And they led it to Jesus. And casting their garments on the colt, they helped Jesus onto it.
36 И, когда Он ехал, постилали одежды свои по дороге.	36 Then, as he was traveling, they were laying down their garments along the way.
37 А когда Он приблизился к спуску с горы Елеонской, все множество учеников начало в радости велегласно славить Бога за все чудеса, какие видели они,	37 And when he was now drawing near to the descent of Mount Olivet, the entire crowd of his disciples began to praise God joyfully, with a loud voice, over all the powerful works which they had seen,
38 говоря: благословен Царь, грядущий во имя Господне! мир на небесах и слава в вышних!	38 saying: “Blessed is the king who has arrived in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory on high!”
39 И некоторые фарисеи из среды народа сказали Ему: Учитель! запрети ученикам Твоим.	39 And certain Pharisees within the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.”
40 Но Он сказал им в ответ: сказываю вам, что если они умолкнут, то камни возопиют.	40 And he said to them, “I tell you, that if these will keep silent, the stones themselves will cry out.”
41 И когда приблизился к городу, то, смотря на него, заплакал о нем	41 And when he drew near, seeing the city, he wept over it, saying:
42 и сказал: о, если бы и ты хотя в сей твой день узнал, что служит к миру твоему! Но это сокрыто ныне от глаз твоих,	42 “If only you had known, indeed even in this your day, which things are for your peace. But now they are hidden from your eyes.
43 ибо придут на тебя дни, когда враги твои обложат тебя окопами и окружат тебя, и стеснят тебя отовсюду,	43 For the days will overtake you. And your enemies will encircle you with a valley. And they will surround you and hem you in on every side.
44 и разорят тебя, и побьют детей твоих в тебе, и не оставят в тебе камня на камне за то, что ты не узнал времени посещения твоего.	44 And they will knock you down to the ground, with your sons who are in you. And they will not leave stone upon stone within you, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”
45 И, войдя в храм, начал выгонять продающих в нем и покупающих,	45 And entering into the temple, he began to cast out those who sold in it, and those who bought,
46 говоря им: написано: дом Мой есть дом молитвы, а вы сделали его вертепом разбойников.	46 saying to them: “It is written: ‘My house is a house of prayer.’ But you have made it into a den of robbers.”
47 И учил каждый день в храме. Первосвященники же и книжники и старейшины народа искали погубить Его,	47 And he was teaching in the temple daily. And the leaders of the priests, and the scribes, and the leaders of the people were seeking to destroy him.
48 и не находили, что бы сделать с Ним; потому что весь народ неотступно слушал Его.	48 But they could not find what to do to him. For all the people were listening to him attentively.
