Seconda lettera a Timoteo (2 تيموثاوس) 4

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 انا اناشدك اذا امام الله والرب يسوع المسيح العتيد ان يدين الاحياء والاموات عند ظهوره وملكوته	1 Before God and before Christ Jesus who is to be judge of the living and the dead, I charge you, in thename of his appearing and of his kingdom:
2 اكرز بالكلمة اعكف على ذلك في وقت مناسب وغير مناسب. وبّخ انتهر عظ بكل اناة وتعليم.	2 proclaim the message and, welcome or unwelcome, insist on it. Refute falsehood, correct error, giveencouragement -- but do all with patience and with care to instruct.
3 لانه سيكون وقت لا يحتملون فيه التعليم الصحيح بل حسب شهواتهم الخاصة يجمعون لهم معلّمين مستحكة مسامعهم	3 The time is sure to come when people wil not accept sound teaching, but their ears wil be itching foranything new and they wil col ect themselves a whole series of teachers according to their own tastes;
4 فيصرفون مسامعهم عن الحق وينحرفون الى الخرافات.	4 and then they will shut their ears to the truth and wil turn to myths.
5 واما انت فاصح في كل شيء. احتمل المشقات. اعمل عمل المبشر. تمم خدمتك	5 But you must keep steady al the time; put up with suffering; do the work of preaching the gospel; fulfilthe service asked of you.
6 فاني انا الآن اسكب سكيبا ووقت انحلالي قد حضر.	6 As for me, my life is already being poured away as a libation, and the time has come for me to depart.
7 قد جاهدت الجهاد الحسن اكملت السعي حفظت الايمان	7 I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith;
8 واخيرا قد وضع لي اكليل البر الذي يهبه لي في ذلك اليوم الرب الديان العادل وليس لي فقط بل لجميع الذين يحبون ظهوره ايضا	8 al there is to come for me now is the crown of uprightness which the Lord, the upright judge, wil give tome on that Day; and not only to me but to al those who have longed for his appearing.
9 بادر ان تجيء اليّ سريعا	9 Make every effort to come and see me as soon as you can.
10 لان ديماس قد تركني اذ احب العالم الحاضر وذهب الى تسالونيكي وكريسكيس الى غلاطية وتيطس الى دلماطية.	10 As it is, Demas has deserted me for love of this life and gone to Thessalonica, Crescens has gone toGalatia and Titus to Dalmatia;
11 لوقا وحده معي. خذ مرقس واحضره معك لانه نافع لي للخدمة.	11 only Luke is with me. Bring Mark with you; I find him a useful helper in my work.
12 اما تيخيكس فقد ارسلته الى افسس.	12 I have sent Tychicus to Ephesus.
13 الرداء الذي تركته في ترواس عند كاربس احضره متى جئت والكتب ايضا ولا سيما الرقوق.	13 When you come, bring the cloak I left with Carpus in Troas, and the scrol s, especially the parchmentones.
14 اسكندر النحّاس اظهر لي شرورا كثيرة. ليجازه الرب حسب اعماله.	14 Alexander the coppersmith has done me a lot of harm; the Lord wil repay him as his deeds deserve.
15 فاحتفظ منه انت ايضا لانه قاوم اقوالنا جدا.	15 Be on your guard against him yourself, because he has been bitterly contesting everything that we say.
16 في احتجاجي الاول لم يحضر احد معي بل الجميع تركوني. لا يحسب عليهم.	16 The first time I had to present my defence, no one came into court to support me. Every one of themdeserted me -- may they not be held accountable for it.
17 ولكن الرب وقف معي وقواني لكي تتم بي الكرازة ويسمع جميع الامم فأنقذت من فم الاسد.	17 But the Lord stood by me and gave me power, so that through me the message might be ful yproclaimed for al the gentiles to hear; and so I was saved from the lion's mouth.
18 وسينقذني الرب من كل عمل رديء ويخلّصني لملكوته السماوي. الذي له المجد الى دهر الدهور. آمين	18 The Lord will rescue me from all evil attempts on me, and bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. Tohim be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
19 سلم على فرسكا واكيلا وبيت انيسيفورس.	19 Greetings to Prisca and Aquila, and the family of Onesiphorus.
20 اراستس بقي في كورنثوس. واما تروفيمس فتركته في ميليتس مريضا.	20 Erastus stayed behind at Corinth, and I left Trophimus il at Miletus.
21 بادر ان تجيء قبل الشتاء. يسلم عليك افبولس وبوديس ولينس وكلافدية والاخوة جميعا.	21 Make every effort to come before the winter. Greetings to you from Eubulus, Pudens, Linus, Claudiaand all the brothers.
22 الرب يسوع المسيح مع روحك. النعمة معكم. آمين	22 The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.
