Zacarias 6

SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Levantando de novo os olhos, olhei e vi quatro carros que saíam dentre duas montanhas: estas eram montanhas de bronze.	1 Again I raised my eyes, and this is what I saw: four chariots coming out between two mountains, andthe mountains were mountains of bronze.
2 No primeiro carro havia cavalos vermelhos; no segundo cavalos negros;	2 The first chariot had red horses, the second chariot had black horses,
3 no terceiro, cavalos brancos e, no quarto, cavalos baios.	3 the third chariot had white horses and the fourth chariot had vigorous, piebald horses.
4 Tomando então a palavra, perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo: Que carros são esses, meu Senhor?	4 I asked the angel who was talking to me, 'What are these, my lord?'
5 Ele respondeu-me: Eles vão para os quatro ventos do céu e deixam o lugar onde se apresentaram diante do Senhor de toda a terra.	5 The angel replied, 'They are the four winds of heaven now leaving, after attending the Lord of the wholeworld.
6 Os cavalos negros dirigem-se para o norte, os brancos para o ocidente, os baios para o sul.	6 The black horses are leaving for the land of the north; the white are following them, and the piebald areleaving for the land of the south.'
7 Partiram fogosos e procuraram lançar-se para percorrer a terra. O Senhor disse-lhes: Ide, percorrei a terra! E eles puseram-se a percorrer a terra.	7 They came out vigorously, eager to patrol the world. He said to them, 'Go and patrol the world.' Andthey patrol ed the world.
8 Ele chamou-me e disse: Olha: os que se dirigem para o norte vão saciar a minha cólera contra a terra do norte.	8 He called to me and said, 'Look, the ones going to the land of the north brought my spirit to rest on theland of the north.'
9 A palavra do Senhor foi-me dirigida nestes termos:	9 Then the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,
10 Vai e recebe a oferta da comunidade, os dons de Heldai, Tobias e Jedaia; vai hoje mesmo à casa de Josias, filho de Sofonias, pois se dirigiram para lá de volta de Babilônia.	10 'Col ect silver and gold from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, then (you yourself go thesame day) go to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah, who has arrived from Babylon.
11 Tomarás prata e ouro e farás uma coroa, que porás sobre a cabeça do sumo sacerdote Josué, filho de Josedec,	11 Then, taking the silver and gold, make a crown and place it on the head of the high priest Joshua sonof Jehozadak.
12 e lhe dirás: Assim fala o Senhor dos exércitos: Eis o homem, cujo nome é Gérmen; alguma coisa vai germinar de sua linhagem.	12 And say this to him, "Yahweh Sabaoth says this: Here is a man whose name is Branch; where he is,there will be a branching out (and he wil rebuild Yahweh's sanctuary).
13 Ele é que reconstruirá o templo do Senhor: usará insígnias reais e sentar-se-á como rei sobre o seu trono; terá um sacerdote à sua direita, e reinará a perfeita paz entre eles,	13 Yes, he is the one who wil rebuild Yahweh's sanctuary; he wil wear the royal insignia and sit on histhrone and govern, with a priest on his right. Perfect peace wil reign between these two.
14 A coroa será conservada no templo do Senhor em memória de Heldai, Tobias e Jedaia, como também de Josias, filho de Sofonias.	14 And the crown wil serve Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah and the son of Zephaniah as a memorial of favour inYahweh's sanctuary.
15 Virão então aqueles que se acham distantes para trabalhar na construção do templo do Senhor, e sabereis que fui enviado a vós pelo Senhor dos exércitos. Tudo isso há de realizar-se, se fordes dóceis à voz do Senhor, vosso Deus.	15 And those now far away wil come and work on the building of Yahweh's sanctuary." 'Then you willknow that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you. It wil happen if you diligently obey the voice of Yahweh yourGod.'
