1 O Senhor disse a Moisés: "Dize aos israelitas o seguinte:	1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 quando entrardes na terra de vossa habitação, que eu vos hei de dar,	2 "Give the Israelites these instructions: When you have entered the land that I will give you for your homesteads,
3 e oferecerdes ao Senhor algum sacrifício pelo fogo, seja holocausto, seja um simples sacrifício, quer em cumprimento de um voto, quer como oferta espontânea, ou por ocasião de uma festa, para apresentar uma oferta de agradável odor ao Senhor, com vossos bois ou vossas ovelhas,	3 if you make to the LORD a sweet-smelling oblation from the herd or from the flock, in holocaust, in fulfillment of a vow, or as a freewill offering, or for one of your festivals,
4 aquele que fizer essa oferta apresentará ao Senhor em oblação um décimo de flor de farinha amassada com um quarto de hin de óleo.	4 whoever does so shall also present to the LORD a cereal offering consisting of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil,
5 E, para a libação, acrescentará um quarto de hin de vinho ao holocausto ou ao sacrifício de cada cordeiro.	5 as well as a libation of a fourth of a hin of wine, with each lamb sacrificed in holocaust or otherwise.
6 Para um carneiro oferecerás dois décimos de flor de farinha amassada com um terço de hin de óleo,	6 With each sacrifice of a ram you shall present a cereal offering of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil,
7 ajuntando uma libação de um terço de hin de vinho, como oferta de agradável odor ao Senhor.	7 and a libation of a third of a hin of wine, thus making a sweet-smelling offering to the LORD.
8 Quando ofereceres um touro em holocausto ou em sacrifício, para o cumprimento de um voto ou em sacrifício pacífico ao Senhor,	8 When you sacrifice an ox as a holocaust, or in fulfillment of a vow, or as a peace offering to the LORD,
9 darás com o touro uma oblação de três décimos de flor de farinha amassada com meio hin de óleo,	9 with it you shall present a cereal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil,
10 ajuntando uma libação de meio hin de vinho; isto é um sacrifício feito pelo fogo, de agradável odor ao Senhor.	10 and a libation of half a hin of wine, as a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.
11 O mesmo se fará para cada boi, cada carneiro, cordeiro ou cabrito.	11 The same is to be done for each ox, ram, lamb or goat.
12 Assim fareis para cada um desses sacrifícios, seja qual for o número das vítimas que oferecerdes.	12 Whatever the number you offer, do the same for each of them.
13 Todos os nativos procederão do mesmo modo, quando oferecerem um sacrifício pelo fogo de agradável odor ao Senhor.	13 "All the native-born shall make these offerings in the same way, whenever they present a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.
14 Se um estrangeiro que habita no meio de vós, ou qualquer outro homem que venha mais tarde a se estabelecer entre vós, oferecer um sacrifício pelo fogo de agradável odor ao Senhor, fará o mesmo que vós.	14 Likewise, in any future generation, any alien residing with you permanently or for a time, who presents a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD, shall do as you do.
15 Só haverá uma lei, a mesma para vós, para a assembléia e para o estrangeiro que habita no meio de vós. Esta é uma lei perpétua para vossos descendentes: diante do Senhor será a mesma coisa tanto para vós como para o estrangeiro.	15 There is but one rule for you and for the resident alien, a perpetual rule for all your descendants. Before the LORD you and the alien are alike,
16 Haverá uma só lei e uma só regra para vós e para o estrangeiro que habita no meio de vós."	16 with the same law and the same application of it for the alien residing among you as for yourselves."
17 O Senhor disse a Moisés:	17 The LORD said to Moses,
18 "Dize aos israelitas o seguinte:	18 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land into which I will bring you
19 quando chegardes à terra para onde vos levo, e comerdes o pão daquela terra, reservareis uma oferta para o Senhor.	19 and begin to eat of the food of that land, you shall offer the LORD a contribution
20 Essa oferta será um bolo feito das primícias de vossa farinha: separá-la-eis como se separa a oferta da eira.	20 consisting of a cake of your first batch of dough. You shall offer it just as you offer a contribution from the threshing floor.
21 Como primícias de vossa farinha, vós e vossos descendentes separareis uma oferta para o Senhor".	21 Throughout your generations you shall give a contribution to the LORD from your first batch of dough.
22 "Se pecardes involuntariamente, deixando de observar um desses mandamentos que o Senhor deu a Moisés,	22 "When through inadvertence you fail to carry out any of these commandments which the LORD gives to Moses,
23 tudo o que por ele vos ordenou desde o dia em que o Senhor vos deu os seus mandamentos, e daí por diante em vossas gerações futuras,	23 and through Moses to you, from the time the LORD first issues the commandment down through your generations:
24 se alguém pecar involuntariamente, e a assembléia não o tiver notado, toda a assembléia oferecerá em holocausto de agradável odor ao Senhor um novilho, com sua oblação e sua libação, segundo o rito prescrito, bem como um bode em sacrifício pelo pecado.	24 if the community itself unwittingly becomes guilty of the fault of inadvertence, the whole community shall offer the holocaust of one young bull as a sweet-smelling oblation pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed cereal offering and libation, as well as one he-goat as a sin offering.
25 O sacerdote fará a expiação por toda a assembléia dos israelitas, e lhes será perdoado, porque é um pecado involuntário, e apresentaram sua oferta ao Senhor, um sacrifício feito pelo fogo e seu sacrifício pelo pecado para reparar o seu erro.	25 Then the priest shall make atonement for the whole Israelite community; thus they will be forgiven the inadvertence for which they have brought their holocaust as an oblation to the LORD.
26 Será perdoado a toda a assembléia dos filhos de Israel, e ao estrangeiro que mora no meio deles, porque é uma culpa que todo o povo cometeu involuntariamente.	26 Not only the whole Israelite community, but also the aliens residing among you, shall be forgiven, since the fault of inadvertence affects all the people.
27 Se for uma só pessoa que pecou involuntariamente, oferecerá uma cabra de um ano em sacrifício pelo pecado.	27 "However, if it is an individual who sins inadvertently, he shall bring a yearling she-goat as a sin offering,
28 O sacerdote fará a expiação diante do Senhor por essa pessoa que pecou involuntariamente; feita a expiação, será perdoada.	28 and the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for him who sinned inadvertently; when atonement has been made for him, he will be forgiven.
29 Tereis uma só lei para aquele que pecar involuntariamente, quer sejam israelitas, quer sejam estrangeiros que habitem no meio deles.	29 You shall have but one law for him who sins inadvertently, whether he be a native Israelite or an alien residing with you.
30 Aquele, porém, que pecar conscientemente, ultraja o Senhor; ele será cortado do meio de seu povo,	30 "But anyone who sins defiantly, whether he be a native or an alien, insults the LORD, and shall be cut off from among his people.
31 porque desprezou a palavra do Senhor e violou o seu preceito; será cortado e levará o peso de sua iniqüidade."	31 Since he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandment, he must be cut off. He has only himself to blame."
32 Ora, aconteceu que, estando os israelitas no deserto, encontraram um homem ajuntando lenha num dia de sábado.	32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was discovered gathering wood on the sabbath day.
33 Os que o acharam apanhando lenha, levaram-no a Moisés e a Aarão, diante de toda a assembléia.	33 Those who caught him at it brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly.
34 Eles meteram-no em guarda, pois não estava ainda determinado o que se lhe devia fazer.	34 But they kept him in custody, for there was no clear decision as to what should be done with him.
35 O Senhor disse a Moisés: "Que esse homem seja punido de morte, e a assembléia o apedreje fora do acampamento."	35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "This man shall be put to death; let the whole community stone him outside the camp."
36 Levaram-no para fora do acampamento e toda a assembléia o apedrejou, e ele morreu, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.	36 So the whole community led him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
37 O Senhor disse a Moisés:	37 The LORD said to Moses,
38 "Dize aos israelitas que façam para eles e seus descendentes borlas nas extremidades de suas vestes, pondo na borla de cada canto um cordão de púrpura violeta.	38 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them that they and their descendants must put tassels on the corners of their garments, fastening each corner tassel with a violet cord.
39 Fareis essas borlas para que, vendo-as, vos recordeis de todos os mandamentos do Senhor, e os pratiqueis, e não vos deixeis levar pelos apetites de vosso coração e de vossos olhos que vos arrastam à infidelidade.	39 When you use these tassels, let the sight of them remind you to keep all the commandments of the LORD, without going wantonly astray after the desires of your hearts and eyes.
40 Desse modo, vós vos lembrareis de todos os meus mandamentos, e os praticareis, e sereis consagrados ao vosso Deus.	40 Thus you will remember to keep all my commandments and be holy to your God.
41 Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tirei do Egito para ser o vosso Deus. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus."	41 I, the LORD, am your God who, as God, brought you out of Egypt that I, the LORD, may be your God."
