1 - Tu és bela, minha querida, tu és formosa! Por detrás do teu véu os teus olhos são como pombas, teus cabelos são como um rebanho de cabras descendo impetuosas pela montanha de Galaad,	1 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.
2 teus dentes são como um rebanho de ovelhas tosquiadas que sobem do banho; cada uma leva dois {cordeirinhos} gêmeos, e nenhuma há estéril entre elas.	2 Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them.
3 Teus lábios são como um fio de púrpura, e graciosa é tua boca. Tua face é como um pedaço de romã debaixo do teu véu;	3 Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks.
4 teu pescoço é semelhante à torre de Davi, construída para depósito de armas. .Aí estão pendentes mil escudos, todos os escudos dos valentes.	4 Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.
5 Os teus dois seios são como dois filhotes gêmeos de uma gazela pastando entre os lírios.	5 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.
6 Antes que sopre a brisa do dia, e se estendam as sombras, irei ao monte da mirra, e à colina do incenso.	6 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
7 És toda bela, ó minha amiga, e não há mancha em ti.	7 Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.
8 Vem comigo do Líbano, ó esposa, vem comigo do Líbano! Olha dos cumes do Amaná, do cimo de Sanir e do Hermon, das cavernas dos leões, dos esconderijos das panteras.	8 Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards.
9 Tu me fazes delirar, minha irmã, minha esposa, tu me fazes delirar com um só dos teus olhares, com um só colar do teu pescoço.	9 Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
10 Como são deliciosas as tuas carícias, minha irmã, minha esposa! Mais deliciosos que o vinho são teus amores, e o odor dos teus perfumes excede o de todos os aromas!	10 How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!
11 Teus lábios, ó esposa, destilam o mel; há mel e leite sob a tua língua. O perfume de tuas vestes é como o perfume do Líbano.	11 Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.
12 És um jardim fechado, minha irmã, minha esposa, uma nascente fechada, uma fonte selada.	12 A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.
13 Teus rebentos são como um bosque de romãs com frutos deliciosos; com ligústica e nardo,	13 Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard,
14 nardo e açafrão, canela e cinamomo, com todas as árvores de incenso, mirra e aloés, com os balsámos mais preciosos.	14 Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:
15 És a fonte de meu jardim, uma fonte de água viva, um riacho que corre do Líbano.	15 A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.
16 - Levanta-te, vento do norte, vem tu, vento do sul. Sopra no meu jardim para que se espalhem os meus perfumes. Entre meu amado no seu jardim, prove-lhe os frutos deliciosos.	16 Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.
