2 Porta soccorso, o Signore, poiché finito è il fedele, scomparsi sono i giusti di mezzo ai figli degli uomini.	2 Help, LORD, for no one loyal remains; the faithful have vanished from the human race
3 L'uomo dice falsità al suo compagno, labbra ingannevoli e doppiezza di cuore sono le loro parole.	3 Those who tell lies to one another speak with deceiving lips and a double heart.
4 Possa stroncare il Signore ogni labbro ingannevole, ogni lingua dalle grandi parole.	4 May the LORD cut off all deceiving lips, and every boastful tongue,
5 Poiché hanno detto: "Con le nostre lingue saremo potenti; armi per noi sono le nostre labbra, chi potrà dominarci?".	5 Those who say, "By our tongues we prevail; when our lips speak, who can lord it over us?"
6 "Al pianto dei poveri, al gemito dei miseri ora sorgerò, dice il Signore, porterò il soccorso a colui che lo brama".	6 "Because they rob the weak, and the needy groan, I will now arise," says the LORD; "I will grant safety to whoever longs for it."
7 Le promesse del Signore sono pure, quasi argento raffinato in fornace, sette volte purificato dalla terra.	7 The promises of the LORD are sure, silver refined in a crucible, silver purified seven times.
8 Tu, o Signore, le manterrai e ci custodirai da questa gente in eterno.	8 LORD, protect us always; preserve us from this generation.
9 Dappertutto si aggirano gli empi, mentre si esaltano gli insolenti in mezzo ai figli degli uomini.	9 On every side the wicked strut; the shameless are extolled by all.
