Psalms 75

1 Unto the end. With Praises. A Psalm of Asaph. A Canticle to the Assyrians.	1 Del maestro de coro «No destruyas». Salmo de Asaf. Canto.
2 In Judea, God is known. In Israel, his name is great.	2 Te damos gracias, oh Dios, te damos gracias; los que invocan tu Nombre narran tus maravillas.
3 And his place has been formed with peace. And his dwelling place is in Zion.	3 «En el momento que yo decida, juzgaré con rectitud.
4 In that place, he has broken the powers of the bows, the shield, the sword, and the battle.	4 Se conmueve la tierra con todos sus habitantes, pero yo he afianzado sus columnas.
5 You illuminate wondrously from the mountains of eternity.	5 Digo a los arrogantes: "¡Basta de arrogancia!", y a los impíos: "¡No levanten la frente!",
6 All the foolish of heart have been disturbed. They have slept their sleep, and all the men of riches have found nothing in their hands.	6 no levanten la frente contra el cielo ni hablen con actitud insolente».
7 At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, those who were mounted on horseback have fallen asleep.	7 Porque ni del oriente ni del occidente, ni del desierto ni de las montañas...
8 You are terrible, and so, who can withstand you? From thence is your wrath.	8 ¡Dios es el único Juez, que a unos humilla, y a otros exalta!
9 You have caused judgment to be heard from heaven. The earth trembled and was quieted,	9 Hay una copa en la mano del Señor, con un vino espumante, lleno de aromas: la ofrece, y la sorben hasta el final, la beben todos los malvados de la tierra.
10 when God rose up in judgment in order to bring salvation to all the meek of the earth.	10 Pero yo me alegraré para siempre, cantaré al Dios de Jacob:
11 For the thinking of man will confess to you, and the legacy of his thinking will keep a feast day to you.	11 él quebrará el poder de los malvados y acrecentará el poder de los justos.
12 Make vows and pay them to the Lord, your God. All you who surround him bring gifts: to him who is terrible,
13 even to him who takes away the spirit of leaders, to him who is terrible with the kings of the earth.
