Leviticus 27

1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When anyone fulfills a vow of offering one or more persons to the LORD, who are to be ransomed at a fixed sum of money,	2 « Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Chi avrà fatto un voto ed avrà promesso a Dio l'anima sua, pagherà il prezzo secondo la stima:
3 for persons between the ages of twenty and sixty, the fixed sum, in sanctuary shekels, shall be fifty silver shekels for a man,	3 se è un maschio dai venti anni ai sessanta darà cinquanta sicli d'argento, secondo il siclo del santuario;
4 and thirty shekels for a woman;	4 se è una donna, trenta.
5 for persons between the ages of five and twenty, the fixed sum shall be twenty shekels for a youth, and ten for a maiden;	5 Dai cinque ai vent'anni l'uomo darà venti sicli; la donna dieci.
6 for persons between the ages of one month and five years, the fixed sum shall be five silver shekels for a boy, and three for a girl;	6 Da un mese a cinque anni sarà dato per un bambino cinque sicli, per una bambina tre.
7 for persons of sixty or more, the fixed sum shall be fifteen shekels for a man, and ten for a woman.	7 Da sessant'anni in là, l'uomo darà quindici sicli; la donna dieci.
8 However, if the one who took the vow is too poor to meet the fixed sum, the person must be set before the priest, who shall determine the sum for his ransom in keeping with the means of the one who made the vow.	8 Un povero che non possa pagare l'estimazione si presenterà al sacerdote e darà quello che questi giudicherà e vedrà che egli possa dare.
9 "If the offering vowed to the LORD is an animal that may be sacrificed, every such animal, when vowed to the LORD, becomes sacred.	9 Se uno fa voto d'un animale che può essere immolato al Signore, l'animale sarà cosa santa,
10 The offerer shall not present a substitute for it by exchanging either a better for a worse one or a worse for a better one. If he attempts to offer one animal in place of another, both the original and its substitute shall be treated as sacred.	10 e non potrà cambiarsi, cioè non si potrà darne uno migliore pel cattivo, o uno peggiore pel buono; e se viene sostituito, tanto il cambiato che quello con cui si è cambiato sarà consacrato al Signore.
11 If the animal vowed to the LORD is unclean and therefore unfit for sacrifice, it must be set before the priest,	11 Se uno fa voto d'un animale immondo, che non può essere immolato al Signore, lo conduca al sacerdote,
12 who shall determine its value in keeping with its good or bad qualities, and the value set by the priest shall stand.	12 Il quale, veduto se l'animale è buono o cattivo, ne fisserà il prezzo.
13 If the offerer wishes to redeem the animal, he shall pay one fifth more than this valuation.	13 Se poi l'offerente volesse riscattarlo, aggiungerà un quinto sopra la stima.
14 "When someone dedicates his house as sacred to the LORD, the priest shall determine its value in keeping with its good or bad points, and the value set by the priest shall stand.	14 Se uno la voto della sua casa e la consacra al Signore, il sacerdote esaminerà se è buona o cattiva, e sarà venduta al prezzo da lui fissato;
15 If the one who dedicated his house wishes to redeem it, he shall pay one fifth more than the price thus established, and then it will again be his.	15 se poi chi ha fatto il voto volesse riscattarla, avrà la casa, dato che abbia il quinto sopra la stima.
16 "If the object which someone dedicates to the LORD is a piece of his hereditary land, its valuation shall be made according to the amount of seed required to sow it, the acreage sown with a homer of barley seed being valued at fifty silver shekels.	16 Se uno fa voto d'un campo dei suoi possessi e lo consacra al Signore, se ne farà la stima in ragione della sementa: se il campo è seminato con tritata moggia d'orzo, si venderà per cinquanta sicli d'argento.
17 If the dedication of a field is made at the beginning of a jubilee period, the full valuation shall hold;	17 Se fa voto del campo fin dal principiar del giubileo, sarà stimato quanto può valere;
18 but if it is some time after this, the priest shall estimate its money value according to the number of years left until the next jubilee year, with a corresponding rebate on the valuation.	18 se fa il voto qualche tempo dopo, il sacerdote calcolerà il prezzo secondo gli anni che mancano al giubileo, e si farà una detrazione dalla stima.
19 If the one who dedicated his field wishes to redeem it, he shall pay one fifth more than the price thus established, and so reclaim it.	19 E se colui che ha fatto il voto vorrà riscattare il campo, se lo terrà dopo avere aggiunto un quinto al prezzo di stima.
20 If, instead of redeeming such a field, he sells it to someone else, it may no longer be redeemed;	20 Se poi non vorrà riscattarlo e verrà quindi venduto ad un altro, chi ne ha fatto voto non potrà riscattarlo;
21 but at the jubilee it shall be released as sacred to the LORD; like a field that is doomed, it shall become priestly property.	21 perchè venuto il giubileo, sarà consacrato al Signore, e come terra consacrata apparterrà di diritto ai sacerdoti.
22 "If the field that some man dedicates to the LORD is one he had purchased and not a part of his hereditary property,	22 Se il campo consacrato al Signore è stato comprato e non fa parte dell'eredità dei maggiori,
23 the priest shall compute its value in proportion to the number of years until the next jubilee, and on the same day the price thus established shall be given as sacred to the LORD;	23 Il sacerdote ne fisserà il prezzo secondo gli anni che mancano al giubileo, e chi ha fatto il voto darà tale prezzo al Signore.
24 at the jubilee, however, the field shall revert to the hereditary owner of this land from whom it had been purchased.	24 Nel giubileo la terra tornerà al primo padrone che l'aveva venduta e del cui patrimonio faceva parte.
25 "Every valuation shall be made according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel. There are twenty gerahs to the shekel.	25 Ogni stima si farà in sicli, del santuario. Il siclo vale venti oboli.
26 "Note that a first-born animal, which as such already belongs to the LORD, may not be dedicated by vow to him. If it is an ox or a sheep, it shall be ceded to the LORD;	26 Nessuno potrà consacrar con voto i primogeniti che appartengono al Signore. Se è un bue o una pecora, appartiene al Signore,
27 but if it is an unclean animal, it may be redeemed by paying one fifth more than its fixed value. If it is not redeemed, it shall be sold at its fixed value.	27 se è animale immondo, chi l'ha offerto lo riscatterà, pagando quanto è stimato più un quinto; se non lo vuole riscattare sarà venduto al prezzo della stima.
28 "Note, also, that any one of his possessions which a man vows as doomed to the LORD, whether it is a human being or an animal or a hereditary field, shall be neither sold nor ransomed; everything that is thus doomed becomes most sacred to the LORD.	28 Tutto quello che è consacrato al Signore, uomo, animale o campo che sia, non potrà esser nè venduto nè riscattato. Qualunque cosa sia stata una volta consacrata, sarà sacrosanta al Signore,
29 All human beings that are doomed lose the right to be redeemed; they must be put to death.	29 Ogni cosa consacrata e offerta dall'uomo non sarà riscattata, ma verrà messa a morte.
30 "All tithes of the land, whether in grain from the fields or in fruit from the trees, belong to the LORD, as sacred to him.	30 Ogni decima della terra, sia dei frutti dei campi che degli alberi è del Signore ed è consacrata a lui.
31 If someone wishes to buy back any of his tithes, he shall pay one fifth more than their value.	31 E se uno vorrà riscattare le sue decime vi aggiungerà il quinto.
32 The tithes of the herd and the flock shall be determined by ceding to the LORD as sacred every tenth animal as they are counted by the herdsman's rod.	32 Nelle decime dei buoi, delle pecore e delle capre, ogni decimo capo che passa sotto la verga del pastore sarà consacrato al Signore.
33 It shall not matter whether good ones or bad ones are thus chosen, and no exchange may be made. If any exchange is attempted, both the original animal and its substitute shall be treated as sacred, without the right of being bought back."	33 Non si sceglierà nè il buono nè il cattivo, nè potrà sostituirsi: se si sostituisce un animale all'altro, saran consacrati al Signore tutt'e due e non potran riscattarsi ».
34 These are the commandments which the LORD gave Moses on Mount Sinai for the Israelites.	34 Questi sono i comandamenti che il Signore diede a Mosè per i figli d'Israele nel monte Sinai.
