1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.	1 Sabe, porém, que nos últimos dias sobrevirão tempos perigosos,
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,	2 porque haverá homens egoístas, avarentos, altivos, soberbos, blasfemos, desobedientes a seus pais, ingratos, malvados,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,	3 sem afeição, sem paz, caluniadores, incontinentes, desumanos, sem benignidade,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;	4 traidores, protervos, orgulhosos e mais amigos dos prazeres do que de Deus,
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.	5 tendo uma aparência de piedade, mas renegando o que faz a força dela. Foge também destes,
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,	6 porque deles procedem os que entram pelas casas e enfeitiçam mulherinhas carregadas de pecados, movidas por várias paixões,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.	7 as quais aprendem sempre, e nunca chegam ao conhecimento da verdade.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.	8 Assim como Janes e Jambres resistiram a Moisés, também estes resistem à verdade, homens corrompidos do espírito e sem garantia em matéria de fé.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.	9 Todavia não irão avante (com os seus maus desígnios), porque se tornará manifesta a todos a sua loucura, como também se tornou a daqueles dois.
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,	10 Tu, porém, tens seguido a minha doutrina, a minha maneira de viver, as minhas intenções, a minha fé, a minha longanimidade, a minha caridade, a minha paciência,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.	11 as minhas perseguições, os meus sofrimentos, quais me aconteceram em Antioquia, Icónio e em Listra, perseguições que sofri, mas de que me livrou o Senhor.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.	12 E todos os que querem viver piamente em Jesus Cristo, padecerão perseguição.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.	13 Porém os homens maus e sedutores irão de mal a pior, errando e induzindo outros a erro.
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;	14 Mas tu persevera no que aprendeste e de que tens a certeza, sabendo de quem aprendeste;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.	15 desde a infância tiveste conhecimento das sagradas letras, que te podem instruir para a salvação, pela fé que está em Jesus Cristo.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:	16 Toda a Escritura divinamente inspirada é útil para ensinar, para repreender, para corrigir, para formar na justiça,
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.	17 a fim de que o homem de Deus seja perfeito, apto para toda a obra boa.
