1 Salmo di Davide, dato al capo de’ Musici, sopra Ghittit QUANT’è magnifico il nome tuo per tutta la terra, O Signore, Signor nostro, Che hai posta la tua maestà sopra i cieli!	1 Unto the end. For the oil and wine presses. A Psalm of David.
2 Per la bocca de’ piccoli fanciulli, e di quelli che poppano, Tu hai fondata la tua gloria, per cagione de’ tuoi nemici, Per far restare il nemico e il vendicatore	2 O Lord, our Lord, how admirable is your name throughout all the earth! For your magnificence is elevated above the heavens.
3 Quando io veggo i tuoi cieli, che sono opera delle tue dita; La luna e le stelle che tu hai disposte;	3 Out of the mouths of babes and infants, you have perfected praise, because of your enemies, so that you may destroy the enemy and the revenger.
4 Io dico: Che cosa è l’uomo, che tu ne abbi memoria? E che cosa è il figliuolo dell’uomo, che tu ne prenda cura?	4 For I will behold your heavens, the works of your fingers: the moon and the stars, which you have founded.
5 E che tu l’abbi fatto poco minor degli Angeli, E l’abbi coronato di gloria e d’onore?	5 What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you visit him?
6 E che tu lo faccia signoreggiare sopra le opere delle tue mani, Ed abbi posto ogni cosa sotto i suoi piedi?	6 You reduced him to a little less than the Angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor,
7 Pecore e buoi tutti quanti, Ed anche le fiere della campagna,	7 and you have set him over the works of your hands.
8 Gli uccelli del cielo, e i pesci del mare, Che guizzano per li sentieri del mare.	8 You have subjected all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and in addition: the beasts of the field,
9 O Signore, Signor nostro, Quanto è magnifico il Nome tuo in tutta la terra!	9 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, which pass through the paths of the sea.
	10 O Lord, our Lord, how admirable is your name throughout all the earth!
