| 2 Florescerá exuberantemente, rejubilará, soltará gritos de alegria; a glória do Líbano ser-lhe-á dada, a formosura do Carmelo e de Saron; os seus habitantes verão a glória do Senhor, a magnificência do nosso Deus. | 2 They will bloom with abundant flowers, and rejoice with joyful song. The glory of Lebanon will be given to them, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; They will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God. |

| 6 Então saltará o coxo como um veado, e desatar-se-á alegremente a língua dos mudos. Rebentarão mananciais de águas no deserto, e torrentes na solidão. | 6 Then will the lame leap like a stag, then the tongue of the dumb will sing. Streams will burst forth in the desert, and rivers in the steppe. |
| 7 A terra, que estava árida, se converterá em um lago, e a terra, que ardia de sede, se converterá em fontes de águas. Nas cavernas, em que antes habitavam os chacais, nascerá a verdura da cana e do junco. | 7 The burning sands will become pools, and the thirsty ground, springs of water; The abode where jackals lurk will be a marsh for the reed and papyrus. |
| 8 Haverá ali uma vereda, um caminho, que se chamará o caminho santo; não passará por ele o impuro; este (caminho) será um caminho direito, de sorte que até os apoucados andem por ele sem se perderem. | 8 A highway will be there, called the holy way; No one unclean may pass over it, nor fools go astray on it. |
| 9 Não haverá ali leão, nem animal (algum) feroz por ali passará; por esse caminho andarão os que tiverem sido salvos (do pecado), | 9 No lion will be there, nor beast of prey go up to be met upon it. It is for those with a journey to make, and on it the redeemed will walk. |
| 10 os remidos do Senhor por ele voltarão e virão a Sião, cantando os seus louvores; uma alegria eterna coroará a sua cabeça; serão repletos de gozo e alegria, e deles fugirão a dor e o gemido. | 10 Those whom the LORD has ransomed will return and enter Zion singing, crowned with everlasting joy; They will meet with joy and gladness, sorrow and mourning will flee. |
