| 10 O brilho das estrelas é a beleza do céu, (por elas) o Senhor ilumina o mundo nas alturas. | 10 At whose command they keep their place and never relax in their vigils. A weapon against the flood waters stored on high, lighting up the firmament by its brilliance, |
| 11 A palavra do Santo estão prontas a executar as suas ordens, e nunca se cansam de fazer sentinela. | 11 Behold the rainbow! Then bless its Maker, for majestic indeed is its splendor; |
| 12 Contempla o arco-íris e bem-dize aquele que o fez; é muito formoso no seu resplendor. | 12 It spans the heavens with its glory, this bow bent by the mighty hand of God. |
| 13 Ele cerca o céu com um círculo de glória; são as mãos do Excelso que o estendem. | 13 His rebuke marks out the path for the lightning, and speeds the arrows of his judgment to their goal. |
| 14 O Senhor com o seu império faz precipitar a neve, e acelera os raios (para a execução) dos seus juízos. | 14 At it the storehouse is opened, and like vultures the clouds hurry forth. |
| 15 Por esta causa se abrem os seus tesouros, e voam as nuvens como aves. | 15 In his majesty he gives the storm its power and breaks off the hailstones. |
| 16 Pela grandeza do seu poder condensa as nuvens, e fragmentam-se as pedras da saraiva. | 16 The thunder of his voice makes the earth writhe; before his might the mountains quake. |
| 17 Quando ele aparece, abalam-se os montes, e ao seu querer, sopra o vento do meio-dia. | 17 A word from him drives on the south wind, the angry north wind, the hurricane and the storm. |
| 18 A voz do seu trovão fere a terra, a tempestade do norte e o redemoinho dos ventos (causam destruição). | 18 He sprinkles the snow like fluttering birds; it comes to settle like swarms of locusts. |
| 19 Espalha a neve como aves que pousam sobre a terra; ela cai na terra como gafanhotos que se abatem sobre o solo. | 19 Its shining whiteness blinds the eyes, the mind is baffled by its steady fall. |

| 22 Sopra o vento frio do norte, e a água congela como um cristal, que repousa sobre todos os depósitos de águas, revestindo-as como de uma couraça. | 22 When the mountain growth is scorched with heat, and the flowering plains as though by flames, |
| 23 Devora os montes, queima os desertos, seca a verdura como fogo. | 23 The dripping clouds restore them all, and the scattered dew enriches the parched land. |
| 24 O remédio de todos estes males é uma nuvem que venha depressa; um orvalho, que sobrevenha temperado, abrandará o seu rigor. | 24 His is the plan that calms the deep, and plants the islands in the sea. |
| 25 A uma palavra sua, acalma-se o vento; só com o seu pensar, aplaca o mar profundo, no meio do qual o Senhor plantou as ilhas. | 25 Those who go down to the sea tell part of its story, and when we hear them we are thunderstruck; |
| 26 Os que navegam sobre o mar, contem os seus perigos, que nós, escutando-os nos admiraremos. | 26 In it are his creatures, stupendous, amazing, all kinds of life, and the monsters of the deep. |
| 27 Ali se encontram obras preclaras e maravilhosas, alimárias de todas as espécies e criaturas monstruosas. | 27 For him each messenger succeeds, and at his bidding accomplishes his will. |

| 33 Bem-dizei o Senhor, exaltai-o quanto puderdes, porque ele está acima de todo o louvor. | 33 For who can see him and describe him? or who can praise him as he is? |
| 34 Para o exaltar, revesti-vos de toda a fortaleza, não vos canseis (de o exaltar), porque jamais chegareis ao fim. | 34 Beyond these, many things lie hid; only a few of his works have we seen. |
| 35 Quem o poderá ver e descrever? Quem o poderá engrandecer, como ele é, desde o princípio? | 35 It is the LORD who has made all things, and to those who fear him he gives wisdom. |
