| 27 porque se comoveu o teu coração e te humilhaste diante de Deus, por causa das coisas que foram ditas contra este lugar e contra os habitantes de Jerusalém, porque, temendo o meu rosto, rasgaste as tuas vestes e choraste diante de mim, eu também te ouvi, diz o Senhor. | 27 But since your heart has been touched and you have humbled yourself before God on hearing whathe has decreed against this place and the people who live in it, have torn your clothes and wept before me, I toohave heard"-Yahweh says this. |
| 28 Por isso em breve te juntarei a teus pais, e serás posto em paz no teu sepulcro; os teus olhos não verão todos os males que eu estou para mandar sobre este lugar e sobre os seus moradores.
