1 Corinthians 6

1 How is it that anyone of you, having a dispute against another, would dare to be judged before the iniquitous, and not before the saints?	1 ARDISCE alcun di voi, avendo qualche affare con un altro, chiamarlo in giudizio davanti agl’iniqui, e non davanti a’ santi?
2 Or do you not know that the saints from this age shall judge it? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you unworthy, then, to judge even the smallest matters?	2 Non sapete voi che i santi giudicheranno il mondo? e se il mondo è giudicato per voi, siete voi indegni de’ minimi giudicii?
3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more the things of this age?	3 Non sapete voi che noi giudicheremo gli angeli? quanto più possiamo giudicar delle cose di questa vita?
4 Therefore, if you have matters to judge concerning this age, why not appoint those who are most contemptible in the Church to judge these things!	4 Dunque, se avete delle liti per cose di questa vita, fate seder per giudici quelli che nella chiesa sono i più dispregevoli.
5 But I am speaking so as to shame you. Is there no one among you wise enough, so that he might be able to judge between his brothers?	5 Io lo dico per farvi vergogna. Così non vi è egli pur un savio fra voi, il qual possa dar giudicio fra l’uno de’ suoi fratelli e l’altro?
6 Instead, brother contends against brother in court, and this before the unfaithful!	6 Ma fratello con fratello litiga, e ciò davanti agl’infedeli.
7 Now there is certainly an offense among you, beyond everything else, when you have court cases against one another. Should you not accept injury instead? Should you not endure being cheated instead?	7 Certo adunque già vi è del tutto del difetto in voi, in ciò che voi avete delle liti gli uni con gli altri; perchè non sofferite voi più tosto che torto vi sia fatto? perchè non vi lasciate più tosto far qualche danno?
8 But you are doing the injuring and the cheating, and this toward brothers!	8 Ma voi fate torto, e danno; e ciò a’ fratelli
9 Do you not know that the iniquitous will not possess the kingdom of God? Do not choose to wander astray. For neither fornicators, nor servants of idolatry, nor adulterers,	9 Non sapete voi che gl’ingiusti non erederanno il regno di Dio? Non v’ingannate; nè i fornicatori, nè gl’idolatri, nè gli adulteri, nè i molli, nè quelli che usano co’ maschi;
10 nor the effeminate, nor males who sleep with males, nor thieves, nor the avaricious, nor the inebriated, nor slanderers, nor the rapacious shall possess the kingdom of God.	10 nè i ladri, nè gli avari, nè gli ubbriachi, nè gli oltraggiosi, nè i rapaci, non erederanno il regno di Dio.
11 And some of you were like this. But you have been absolved, but you have been sanctified, but you have been justified: all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.	11 Or tali eravate già alcuni; ma siete stati lavati, ma siete stati santificati, ma siete stati giustificati, nel nome del Signore Gesù, e per lo Spirito dell’Iddio nostro
12 All is lawful to me, but not all is expedient. All is lawful to me, but I will not be driven back by the authority of anyone.	12 OGNI cosa mi è lecita, ma ogni cosa non è utile; ogni cosa mi è lecita, ma non però sarò per cosa alcuna reso soggetto.
13 Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food. But God shall destroy both the stomach and food. And the body is not for fornication, but rather for the Lord; and the Lord is for the body.	13 Le vivande son per il ventre, ed il ventre per le vivande; e Iddio distruggerà e quello, e queste; ma il corpo non è per la fornicazione, anzi per lo Signore, e il Signore per lo corpo.
14 Truly, God has raised up the Lord, and he will raise us up by his power.	14 Or Iddio, come egli ha risuscitato il Signore, così ancora risusciterà noi, per la sua potenza.
15 Do you not know that your bodies are a part of Christ? So then, should I take a part of Christ and make it a part of a harlot? Let it not be so!	15 Non sapete voi che i vostri corpi son membra di Cristo? torrò io adunque le membra di Cristo, e faronne membra d’una meretrice? Così non sia.
16 And do you not know that whoever is joined to a harlot becomes one body? “For the two,” he said, “shall be as one flesh.”	16 Non sapete voi che chi si congiunge con una meretrice è uno stesso corpo con essa? perciocchè i due, dice il Signore, diverranno una stessa carne.
17 But whoever is joined to the Lord is one spirit.	17 Ma chi è congiunto col Signore è uno stesso spirito con lui.
18 Flee from fornication. Every sin whatsoever that a man commits is outside of the body, but whoever fornicates, sins against his own body.	18 Fuggite la fornicazione; ogni altro peccato che l’uomo commette è fuor del corpo; ma chi fornica, pecca contro al suo proprio corpo.
19 Or do you not know that your bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?	19 Non sapete voi che il vostro corpo è tempio dello Spirito Santo ch’è in voi, il quale avete da Dio? e che non siete a voi stessi?
20 For you have been bought at a great price. Glorify and carry God in your body.	20 Poichè siete stati comperati con prezzo; glorificate adunque Iddio col vostro corpo, e col vostro spirito, i quali sono di Dio
