1 Corinthians 6

1 How is it that anyone of you, having a dispute against another, would dare to be judged before the iniquitous, and not before the saints?	1 ¡Cómo es posible que cuando uno de ustedes tiene algún conflicto con otro, se atreve a reclamar justicia a los injustos, en lugar de someterse al juicio de los santos?
2 Or do you not know that the saints from this age shall judge it? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you unworthy, then, to judge even the smallest matters?	2 ¿No saben ustedes que los santos juzgarán al mundo? Y si el mundo va a ser juzgado por ustedes, ¿cómo no van a ser capaces de juzgar asuntos de mínima importancia?
3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more the things of this age?	3 ¿Ignoran que vamos a juzgar a los mismos ángeles? Con mayor razón entonces, los asuntos de esta vida.
4 Therefore, if you have matters to judge concerning this age, why not appoint those who are most contemptible in the Church to judge these things!	4 ¡Y pensar que cuando ustedes tienen litigios, buscan como jueces a los que no son nadie para la Iglesia!
5 But I am speaking so as to shame you. Is there no one among you wise enough, so that he might be able to judge between his brothers?	5 Lo digo para avergonzarlos: ¡por lo visto, no hay entre ustedes ni siquiera un hombre sensato, que sea capaz de servir de árbitro entre sus hermanos!
6 Instead, brother contends against brother in court, and this before the unfaithful!	6 ¡Un hermano pleitea con otro, y esto, delante de los que no creen!
7 Now there is certainly an offense among you, beyond everything else, when you have court cases against one another. Should you not accept injury instead? Should you not endure being cheated instead?	7 Ya está mal que haya litigios entre ustedes: ¿acaso no es preferible sufrir la injusticia o ser despojado?
8 But you are doing the injuring and the cheating, and this toward brothers!	8 Pero no, ustedes mismos son los que cometen injusticias y defraudan a los demás, ¡y esto entre hermanos!
9 Do you not know that the iniquitous will not possess the kingdom of God? Do not choose to wander astray. For neither fornicators, nor servants of idolatry, nor adulterers,	9 ¿Ignoran que los injustos no heredarán el Reino de Dios? No se hagan ilusiones: ni los inmorales, ni los idólatras, ni los adúlteros, ni los afeminados, ni los pervertidos,
10 nor the effeminate, nor males who sleep with males, nor thieves, nor the avaricious, nor the inebriated, nor slanderers, nor the rapacious shall possess the kingdom of God.	10 ni los ladrones, ni los avaros, ni los bebedores, ni los difamadores, ni los usurpadores heredarán el Reino de Dios.
11 And some of you were like this. But you have been absolved, but you have been sanctified, but you have been justified: all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.	11 Algunos de ustedes fueron así, pero ahora han sido purificados, santificados y justiciados en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y por Espíritu de nuestro Dios.
12 All is lawful to me, but not all is expedient. All is lawful to me, but I will not be driven back by the authority of anyone.	12 «Todo me está permitido», pero no todo es conveniente. Todo me está permitido», pero no me dejaré dominar por nada.
13 Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food. But God shall destroy both the stomach and food. And the body is not for fornication, but rather for the Lord; and the Lord is for the body.	13 Los alimentos son para el estómago y el estómago para los alimentos, y Dios destruirá a ambos. Pero el cuerpo no es para la fornicación, sino para el Señor, y el Señor es para el cuerpo.
14 Truly, God has raised up the Lord, and he will raise us up by his power.	14 Y Dios que resucitó al Señor, nos resucitará también a nosotros con su poder.
15 Do you not know that your bodies are a part of Christ? So then, should I take a part of Christ and make it a part of a harlot? Let it not be so!	15 ¿No saben acaso que sus cuerpos son miembros de Cristo? ¿Cómo voy a tomar los miembros de Cristo para convertirlos en miembros de una prostituta? De ninguna manera.
16 And do you not know that whoever is joined to a harlot becomes one body? “For the two,” he said, “shall be as one flesh.”	16 ¿No saben que el que se une a una prostituta, se hace un solo cuerpo con ella? Porque dice la Escritura: Los dos serán una sola carne.
17 But whoever is joined to the Lord is one spirit.	17 En cambio, el que se une al Señor se hace un solo espíritu con él.
18 Flee from fornication. Every sin whatsoever that a man commits is outside of the body, but whoever fornicates, sins against his own body.	18 Eviten la fornicación. Cualquier otro pecado cometido por el hombre es exterior a su cuerpo, pero el que fornica peca contra su propio cuerpo.
19 Or do you not know that your bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?	19 ¿O no saben que sus cuerpos son templo del espíritu Santo, que habita en ustedes y que han recibido de Dios? Por lo tanto, ustedes no se pertenecen,
20 For you have been bought at a great price. Glorify and carry God in your body.	20 sino que han sido comprados, ¡y a qué precio! Glorifiquen entonces a Dios en sus cuerpos.
