Ezekiel 21

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	1 Και εγεινε λογος Κυριου προς εμε, λεγων,
2 “Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and pour in drops toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the soil of Israel.	2 Υιε ανθρωπου, στηριξον το προσωπον σου προς Ιερουσαλημ και σταλαξον λογον προς τους αγιους τοπους και προφητευσον κατα της γης Ισραηλ
3 And you shall say to the land of Israel: Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, and I will cast my sword from its sheath, and I will slay the just and the impious among you.	3 και ειπε προς την γην Ισραηλ, Ουτω λεγει Κυριος? Ιδου, εγω ειμαι εναντιον σου και θελω συρει την μαχαιραν μου εκ της θηκης αυτης και θελω εκκοψει απο σου τον δικαιον και τον ασεβη.
4 But in as much as I have slain among you the just and the impious, for this reason my sword will go forth from its sheath against all flesh, from the south even to the north.	4 Και επειδη θελω εκκοψει απο σου τον δικαιον και τον ασεβη, δια τουτο θελει εξελθει η μαχαιρα μου εκ της θηκης αυτης εναντιον πασης σαρκος, απο μεσημβριας μεχρι βορρα?
5 So may all flesh know that I, the Lord, have led my sword out of its sheath irrevocably.	5 και θελουσι γνωρισει πασα σαρξ οτι εγω ο Κυριος εσυρα την μαχαιραν μου εκ της θηκης αυτης? δεν θελει επιστρεψει πλεον.
6 And as for you, son of man, groan in the breaking of your back, and groan in bitterness before them.	6 Δια τουτο συ, υιε ανθρωπου, στεναξον μετα συντριμμου της οσφυος σου, και μετα πικριας στεναξον ενωπιον αυτων.
7 And when they will say to you, ‘Why are you groaning?’ you shall say: ‘On behalf of the report, For it is approaching. And every heart will waste away, and every hand will be broken, and every spirit will be weakened, and water will flow across every knee.’ Behold, it is approaching and it will happen, says the Lord God.”	7 Και οταν ειπωσι προς σε, δια τι στεναζεις συ; θελεις αποκριθη? δια την αγγελιαν, οτι ερχεται? και πασα καρδια θελει λυωσει, και πασαι αι χειρες θελουσι παραλυθη, και παν πνευμα θελει λιποθυμησει, και παντα τα γονατα θελουσι ρευσει ως υδωρ? ιδου, ερχεται και θελει γεινει, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος.
8 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	8 Και εγεινε λογος Κυριου προς εμε, λεγων,
9 “Son of man, prophesy, and you shall say: Thus says the Lord God: Speak: The sword! The sword has been sharpened and polished!	9 Υιε ανθρωπου, προφητευσον και ειπε, Ουτω λεγει Κυριος? Ειπε, Ρομφαια, ρομφαια ακονιζεται και μαλιστα στιλβουται?
10 It has been sharpened, so that it may cut down victims! It has been polished, so that it may shine! You are disturbing the scepter of my son. You have cut down every tree.	10 ακονιζεται, δια να καμη σφαγην? στιλβουται, δια να αστραπτη. Δυναμεθα λοιπον να ημεθα ευθυμοι; αυτη ειναι η ραβδος του υιου μου, η καταφρονουσα παν ξυλον.
11 And I have sent it to be made smooth, so that it may be handled. This sword has been sharpened, and it has been polished, so that it may be in the hand of the one who kills.	11 Και εδωκεν αυτην να στιλβωθη, δια να κρατηται εν τη χειρι? η ρομφαια αυτη ειναι ηκονισμενη και εστιλβωμενη, δια να δοθη εις την χειρα του σφαγεως.
12 Cry out and wail, O son of man! For this has been done among my people, this is among all the leaders of Israel, who have fled. They have been handed over to the sword, with my people. Therefore, slap your thigh,	12 Βοησον και ολολυξον, υιε ανθρωπου? διοτι αυτη ειναι εναντιον του λαου μου, ειναι εναντιον παντων των αρχοντων του Ισραηλ?. τρομος θελει επιπεσει επι τον λαον μου δια την ρομφαιαν? δια τουτο κτυπησον επι τον μηρον σου.
13 for it has been tested. And this one, when he will have overthrown the scepter, will not be, says the Lord God.	13 Διοτι εξετασις ειναι? και τι; βεβαιως και η καταφρονουσα ραβδος δεν θελει υπαρχει, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος.
14 You therefore, O son of man, prophesy, and strike hand against hand, and let the sword be doubled, and let the sword of the slain be tripled. This is the sword of the great slaughter, which causes them to be utterly stupefied,	14 Δια τουτο συ, υιε ανθρωπου, προφητευσον και κροτησον χειρα επι χειρα και ας διπλασιασθη η ρομφαια, ας τριπλασιασθη, η ρομφαια των τετραυματισμενων? αυτη ειναι η ρομφαια των μεγαλων τραυματιων, ητις θελει διαπερασει εως των ενδομυχων αυτων.
15 and to waste away in heart, and which multiplies ruin. At all their gates, I have presented the consternation of the sword, which has been sharpened and polished so as to shine, which has been dressed for the slaughter.	15 Επεφερα την κοπην της ρομφαιας επι πασας τας πυλας αυτων, δια να λυωση πασα καρδια και να πληθυνθη ο ολεθρος. Ουαι? ητοιμασθη δια να εξαστραπτη, ηκονισθη δια σφαγην.
16 Be sharpened! Go to the right or to the left, whichever way is the desire of your face.	16 Συσφιγχθητι, ρομφαια, επιτεθητι δεξια, αριστερα, οπου στραφη το προσωπον σου.
17 And then I will clap hand against hand, and I will fulfill my indignation. I, the Lord, have spoken.”	17 Και εγω ετι θελω κροτησει χειρα μου επι χειρα μου και θελω αναπαυσει τον θυμον μου? εγω ο Κυριος ελαλησα.
18 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	18 Και εγεινε λογος Κυριου προς εμε, λεγων,
19 “And as for you, son of man, set for yourself two ways, so that the sword of the king of Babylon may approach. Both shall go forth from one land. And with a hand, he will grasp and cast lots; he will cast at the head of the way of the community.	19 Και συ, υιε ανθρωπου, διορισον εις σεαυτον δυο οδους, δια να διελθη η ρομφαια του βασιλεως της Βαβυλωνος, και αμφοτεραι θελουσιν εξερχεσθαι απο της αυτης γης? και καμε τοπον, καμε αυτον εν τη αρχη της οδου της πολεως.
20 You shall appoint a way, so that the sword may approach to Rabbah of the sons of Ammon, or to Judah, into Jerusalem, greatly fortified.	20 Διορισον οδον δια να διελθη η ρομφαια εις την Ραββα των υιων Αμμων και εις την Ιουδαιαν προς την Ιερουσαλημ την ωχυρωμενην.
21 For the king of Babylon stood at the fork, at the head of the two ways, seeking divination, shuffling arrows; he inquired of idols, and he consulted entrails.	21 Διοτι ο βασιλευς της Βαβυλωνος εσταθη εις τον διαχωρισμον, εν τη αρχη των δυο οδων, δια να ερωτηση τους μαντεις? ανεκατωσε τα μαντικα βελη, ηρωτησε τα γλυπτα, παρετηρησε το ηπαρ.
22 To his right was set the divination over Jerusalem, to place battering rams so as to open a mouth for the slaughter, to lift up the voice of wailing, to place battering rams opposite the gates, to cast up a rampart, to build fortifications.	22 Προς την δεξιαν αυτου εγεινεν ο χρησμος δια την Ιερουσαλημ, δια να στηση τους κριους, δια να ανοιξη το στομα επι σφαγην, να υψωση την φωνην μετα αλαλαγμου, να στηση κριους εναντιον των πυλων, να καμη προχωματα, να οικοδομηση προμαχωνας.
23 And he shall be, in their eyes, like someone consulting an oracle in vain, or imitating the leisure of Sabbaths. But he will call to mind iniquities, so that it will be captured.	23 Πλην τουτο θελει εισθαι εις αυτους ως μαντεια ματαια, εις τους οφθαλμους εκεινων, οιτινες εκαμον ορκους προς αυτους? αυτος ομως θελει ενθυμισει αυτους την ανομιαν αυτων, δια να πιασθωσι.
24 Therefore, thus says the Lord God: Because you have been remembered in your iniquities, and you have revealed your betrayals, and your sins have appeared within all your plans, because, I say, you have been remembered, you will be captured by a hand.	24 Δια τουτο ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος. Επειδη εκαμετε να ελθη εις ενθυμησιν η ανομια σας, οτε ανεκαλυφθησαν αι παραβασεις σας, ωστε να φανερωθωσι τα αμαρτηματα σας εις πασας τας πραξεις σας? επειδη ηλθετε εις ενθυμησιν, θελετε γεινει χειριαλωτοι.
25 But as for you, O impious leader of Israel, whose day has arrived that was predetermined at the time of iniquity:	25 Και συ, βεβηλε ασεβη, ηγεμων του Ισραηλ, του οποιου ηλθεν η ημερα, οτε η ανομια εφθασεν εις περας,
26 Thus says the Lord God: Take away the diadem, remove the crown. Is this not what has exalted the lowly one, and brought low the sublime one?	26 ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος? Σηκωσον το διαδημα και αφαιρεσον το στεμμα? αυτο δεν θελει εισθαι τοιουτον? ο ταπεινος θελει υψωθη και ο υψηλος θελει ταπεινωθη.
27 Iniquity, iniquity, iniquity I will make it. And this was not done until the one arrived to whom judgment belongs, and I will hand it over to him.	27 Θελω ανατρεψει, ανατρεψει, ανατρεψει αυτο, και δεν θελει υπαρχει εωσου ελθη εκεινος, εις ον ανηκει? και εις τουτον θελω δωσει αυτο.
28 And as for you, son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus says the Lord God to the sons of Ammon, and to their disgrace, and you shall say: O sword, O sword, unsheathe yourself so as to slay; polish yourself so as to kill and to shine,	28 Και συ, υιε ανθρωπου, προφητευσον και ειπε, Ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος περι των υιων Αμμων και περι του ονειδισμου αυτων, και ειπε, Η ρομφαια, η ρομφαια ειναι γεγυμνωμενη, δια την σφαγην εστιλβωμενη, δια να εξολοθρευση εξαστραπτουσα,
29 while they look upon you in vain, and they divine lies, so that you may be given over to the necks of the wounded impious, whose day has arrived that was predetermined at the time of iniquity.	29 ενω βλεπουσι ματαιας ορασεις περι σου, ενω μαντευουσι ψευδος εις σε, δια να σε βαλωσιν επι τον τραχηλον των τετραυματισμενων, των ασεβων, των οποιων η ημερα ηλθεν, οτε η ανομια αυτων εφθασεν εις περας.
30 Be returned to your sheath! I will judge you in the place where you were created, in the land of your nativity.	30 Επιστρεψον αυτην εις την θηκην αυτης. Εν τω τοπω οπου εκτισθης, εν τη γη της γεννησεως σου, θελω σε κρινει.
31 And I will pour out upon you my indignation. In the fire of my fury, I will fan you, and I will give you over to the hands of cruel men, who have devised destruction.	31 Και θελω εκχεει την οργην μου επι σε εν τω πυρι της οργης μου θελω εμφυσησει επι σε? και θελω σε παραδωσει εις χειρας ανδρων αγριων, τεκταινοντων ολεθρον.
32 You will be food for the fire; your blood will be in the midst of the land; you will be delivered to oblivion. For I, the Lord, have spoken.”	32 Τροφη πυρος θελεις γεινει? το αιμα σου θελει εισθαι εν τω μεσω της γης σου? δεν θελει εισθαι πλεον μνημη περι σου? διοτι εγω ο Κυριος ελαλησα.
