Ezekiel 32

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,	1 L'anno duodecimo, il duodecimo mese, il primo del mese, la parola del Signore mi fu indirizzata in questi termini:
2 'Son of man, raise a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt. Say to him: "Young lion of nations, you aredestroyed! Once you were like a crocodile in the lagoons; emerging from your rivers, you churned up the waterwith your trampling and fouled their streams.	2 « Figlio dell'uomo, pronunzia una lamentazione sopra Faraone, re d'Egitto, e di' a lui: Tu fosti simile ad un leone fra le nazioni, al dragone che sta nel mare, e agitavi il corno nei tuoi fiumi, e coi piedi intorbidavi le acque e ne calpestavi i canali.
3 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal throw my net over you in a great concourse of nations; and theywil trawl you up in my net. Then I shal leave you high and dry,	3 Per questo, così parla il Signore Dio: Io stenderò sopra di te la mia rete con una moltitudine di popoli, e ti tirerò fuori colla mia rete,
4 I shal throw you out into the wilds and make al the birds of heaven settle on you, and glut all thebeasts of the earth with you.	4 e ti getterò sulla terra, e ti abbandonerò in mezzo ai campi, e farò posare sopra di te tutti gli uccelli del cielo, e con te sazierò le bestie di tutta la terra;
5 I shal strew your flesh on your mountains and fil the val eys with your corruption;	5 e spargerò le tue carni sopra i monti, ed empirò i colli del tuo marciume.
6 I shal water the country with what flows from you, with your blood, on the mountainsides, and you wilfill the ravines.	6 E irrigherò la terra col bottino del tuo sangue fin sopra i monti, e di te saran piene le valli.
7 When I extinguish you I shal cover the skies and darken the stars. I shall cover the sun with cloudsand the moon wil not give its light.	7 E quando sarai morto coprirò il cielo e farò oscurare le sue stelle; coprirò di nubi il sole, e la luna non darà più la sua luce.
8 I shal dim every luminary in heaven because of you and cover your country in darkness -declares theLord Yahweh.	8 Per te metterò in lutto tutti i luminari del cielo, e spanderò le tenebre sopra la tua terra — dice il Signore Dio — quando i tuoi cadran feriti in mezzo alla terra — dice il Signore Dio —
9 "I shall grieve the heart of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, incountries unknown to you.	9 e riempirò di spavento il cuore di molti popoli quando farò arrivare (la notizia) della tua rovina alle nazioni, in terre che non conosci
10 I shal stun many peoples with shock at your fate; their kings wil tremble with horror at your fate,when I brandish my sword before their eyes. The day you fal , each wil tremble in terror for his life.	10 e riguardo a te farò stupire molti popoli, e pel tuo caso i loro re tremeranno pel grande spavento, quando comincerà a lampeggiare la mia spada davanti a loro e saran presi da improvviso spavento, ciascuno per la vita, nel giorno della tua rovina.
11 For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon wil overtake you.	11 Infatti così parla il Signore Dio: La spada del re di Babilonia verrà sopra di te.
12 I shal make your throngs of subjects fall at the swords of my warriors. They are the most barbarousof nations. They wil annihilate the pride of Egypt, and al its throngs will be destroyed.	12 Io farò cadere la tua moltitudine sotto le spade dei forti, degli invincibili fra tutti i popoli, e abbatteranno la superbia dell'Egitto, e la sua moltitudine sarà sterminata.
13 I shal also destroy al its cattle beside the plentiful waters. No human foot wil churn them, no animalfoot wil churn them up again;	13 E farò sparire tutto il suo bestiame pascolante lungo le grandi acque, che non saran più intorbidate dal piede dell'uomo, non saranno più intorbidate dallo zoccolo dei giumenti.
14 then I shal let their waters settle and make their rivers glide like oil -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	14 Allora renderò limpidissime le loro acque e farò scorrere i loro fiumi come l'olio — dice il Signore Dio, —
15 "When I reduce Egypt to a ruin and the country is stripped of its contents, when I strike all those wholive there, they wil know that I am Yahweh.	15 quando avrò ridotto la terra d'Egitto a un deserto; e la terra sarà spogliata di tutto ciò che contiene, quando avrò percossi tutti i suoi abitanti; e sapranno che io sono il Signore.
16 "Such is the lament which the daughters of the nations wil raise. They wil raise it over Egypt and allits throng. This is the lament they will raise -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	16 Questa è la lamentazione, e sarà cantata e la canteranno le lìglie delle nazioni, la canteranno sopra l'Egitto e sopra il suo popolo — dice il Signore Dio ».
17 In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,	17 L'anno duodecimo, ai quindici del mese, la parola del Signore mi fu indirizzata in questi termini:
18 'Son of man, lament over the throng of Egypt, for down she must go with the daughters of majesticnations to the depths of the underworld with those who sink into oblivion.	18 « Figlio dell'uomo, canta una lamentazione sopra il popolo dell'Egitto, e fa precipitare lui e le figlie delle potenti nazioni nelle profondità della terra, con quelli che discendono nella fossa.
19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Down with you, make your bed with the uncircumcised,	19 In che sei più bello? Scendi e dormi cogli incirconcisi!
20 with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. (The sword has been given, it has been drawn.)She and al her throngs have fallen.	20 Essi cadranno fra quelli uccisi dalla spada: la spada è stata consegnata: hanno abbattuto (l'Egitto) e tutti i suoi popoli.
21 From the depths of Sheol, the mightiest heroes, her al ies, wil say to her, "They have come down,they have lain down, uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword."	21 I più potenti dei guerrieri rivolgeranno a lui la parola di mezzo all'inferno, quelli discesi con i suoi ausiliari, morirono incirconcisi, uccisi dalla spada.
22 'Assyria is there and al her hordes, with their graves al round her; all of them slaughtered, fal en bythe sword;	22 Ivi è Assur con tutto il suo popolo, intorno a lui sono i suoi sepolcri: tutti gli uccisi, tutti i caduti sotto la spada.
23 their graves have been made in the deepest part of the abyss, and her hordes, with their graves alround her; all of them slaughtered, kil ed by the sword, who once spread terror through the world of the living.	23 I suoi sepolcri son posti nel più profondo della fossa, e il suo popolo giace intorno al suo sepolcro: tutti uccisi e caduti sotto la spada, quelli che una volta avevano sparso il terrore nella terra dei viventi.
24 'Elam is there and al her throng round her grave, al of them slaughtered, fallen by the sword; theyhave gone down uncircumcised to the depths of the underworld, who once spread terror throughout the world ofthe living. They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	24 Ivi è Elam con tutto il suo popolo, intorno al suo sepolcro: tutti uccisi, abbattuti dalla spada; questi incirconcisi discesero nel più profondo della terra, essi, che avevano sparso il terrore nella terra dei viventi, han portato la loro ignominia con quelli che discendono nella fossa.
25 Among the slaughtered, they have put a bed for her, among her throng with their tombs round her, alof them uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror throughout the world of the living.They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion. They have been put among the slaughtered.	25 In mezzo agli uccisi, hanno posto il suo giaciglio fra tutti i suoi popoli, i quali hanno intorno a lui i loro sepolcri. Questi incirconcisi abbattuti dalla spada sparsero il loro terrore nella terra dei viventi, ed han portata la loro ignominia con quelli discesi nella fossa: giacciono in mezzo agli uccisi.
26 'Meshech, Tubal are there and al her throng, with their graves round her, al of them uncircumcised,slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror through the world of the living.	26 Ivi è Mosoc e Tubai con tutto il suo popolo: intorno a lui sono i suoi sepolcri: tutti questi incirconcisi sono stati uccisi, e abbattuti dalla spada per avere sparso il loro terrore nella terra dei viventi.
27 They do not lie with the heroes who fell long ago, those who went down to Sheol ful y armed, whohad their swords laid under their heads and their shields put under their bones, since the heroes inspired theworld of the living with terror.	27 Essi non giaceranno coi forti, con i caduti e gli incirconcisi, discesi nell'inferno colle loro armi, e sotto la testa dei quali hanno messo le loro spade; ma le loro iniquità son penetrate nelle loro ossa, perchè erano il terrore dei forti nella terra dei viventi.
28 But you wil be broken with the uncircumcised and lie with those slaughtered by the sword.	28 Anche tu dunque sarai calpestato tra gli incirconcisi e giacerai cogli uccisi dalla spada.
29 'Edom is there, her kings and al her princes who, despite their valour, have been laid with thoseslaughtered by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who sink into oblivion.	29 Ivi l'Idumea, i suoi re, i suoi condottieri, i quali coi loro eserciti sono stati messi fra quelli uccisi dalla spada; anch'essi giacciono cogli incirconcisi, e con quelli discesi nella fossa.
30 'Al the princes of the north and al the Sidonians are there, who have gone down with theslaughtered, because of the terror which their power inspired. Ashamed, uncircumcised, they lie among thoseslaughtered by the sword and bear their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	30 Ivi tutti i principi del settentrione e tutti i cacciatori, discesi, pieni di paura, tra gli uccisi con tutta la loro fortezza sono confusi. Questi incirconcisi giacciono tra quei che periron di spada, e portan la loro ignominia con quelli discesi nella fossa.
31 'Pharaoh wil see them and take comfort at the sight of al this throng slaughtered by the sword --Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	31 Faraone li ha visti e si consolò a causa di tutto il suo popolo ucciso dalla spada, Faraone e tutto il suo esercito — dice il Signore Dio.
32 For having spread terror through the world of the living, he wil be laid with the uncircumcised, withthose slaughtered by the sword, Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.'	32 Siccome io ho sparso il mio terrore nella terra dei viventi, eccolo a dormire in mezzo agli incirconcisi con quelli uccisi dalla spada, Faraone e tutto il suo popolo — dice il Signore Dio ».
