3 many peoples will come to it and say, 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house ofthe God of Jacob that he may teach us his ways so that we may walk in his paths.' For the Law wil issue fromZion and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.	3 mnogie ludy pójdą i rzekną: Chodźcie, wstąpmy na Górę Pańską do świątyni Boga Jakubowego! Niech nas nauczy dróg swoich, byśmy kroczyli Jego ścieżkami. Bo Prawo wyjdzie z Syjonu i słowo Pańskie - z Jeruzalem.
4 Then he wil judge between the nations and arbitrate between many peoples. They wil hammer theirswords into ploughshares and their spears into sickles. Nation wil not lift sword against nation, no longer wilthey learn how to make war.	4 On będzie rozjemcą pomiędzy ludami i wyda wyroki dla licznych narodów. Wtedy swe miecze przekują na lemiesze, a swoje włócznie na sierpy. Naród przeciw narodowi nie podniesie miecza, nie będą się więcej zaprawiać do wojny.
5 House of Jacob, come, let us walk in Yahweh's light.	5 Chodźcie, domu Jakuba, postępujmy w światłości Pańskiej!
6 You have rejected your people, the House of Jacob, for it has long been ful of sorcerers like thePhilistines, and is overrun with foreigners.	6 Zaiste, odrzuciłeś Twój lud, dom Jakuba, bo pełen jest wróżbitów i wieszczków jak Filistyni; na zgodę uderza w ręce cudzoziemców.
7 The country is ful of silver and gold and treasures unlimited, the country is ful of horses, its chariots areunlimited;	7 Kraj jego pełen jest srebra i złota, a skarby jego są niezliczone. Kraj jego pełen jest koni, a wozy jego nieprzeliczone.
8 the country is full of idols. They bow down before the work of their hands, before what their own fingershave made.	8 Kraj jego pełen jest bożyszczy... [Oni] wielbią rąk swoich dzieło, które wykonały ich palce.
9 Human nature has been humbled, humankind brought low: do not raise them again!	9 Poniżył się człowiek, upodlił śmiertelny; nie przebaczaj im!
10 Go into the rock, hide in the dust, in terror of Yahweh, at the bril iance of his majesty, when he arises tomake the earth quake.	10 Wejdź między skały, ukryj się w prochu ze strachu przed Panem, przed blaskiem Jego majestatu, kiedy powstanie, by przerazić ziemię.
11 Human pride wil lower its eyes, human arrogance will be humbled, and Yahweh alone wil be exalted,on that day.	11 Wyniosłe oczy człowieka się ukorzą i duma ludzka będzie poniżona. Sam tylko Pan się wywyższy dnia owego.
12 That wil be a day for Yahweh Sabaoth, for all who are majestic and haughty, for al who are proud, tobe brought low,	12 Albowiem dzień Pana Zastępów nadejdzie przeciw wszystkim pysznym i nadętym i przeciw wszystkim hardym, by się ukorzyli,
13 for all the cedars of Lebanon, high and proud, and for al the oaks of Bashan;	13 przeciw wszystkim cedrom Libanu, wysoko się wzbijającym, i przeciw wszystkim dębom Baszanu,
14 for all the high mountains and for al the proud hil s;	14 przeciw wszystkim górom niebotycznym i przeciw wszystkim pagórkom wyniosłym,
15 for every lofty tower and for every towering wal ;	15 przeciw każdej wieży strzelistej i przeciw wszystkim murom obronnym,
16 for all the ships of Tarshish and for everything held precious.	16 przeciw wszystkim okrętom Tarszisz i przeciw wszystkim statkom zbytkownym.
17 Human pride wil be humbled, human arrogance brought low, and Yahweh alone wil be exalted, on thatday.	17 Wtedy pycha człowieka będzie poniżona, a upokorzona ludzka wyniosłość. Sam tylko Pan się wywyższy dnia owego,
18 When the idols al disappear,	18 posągi zaś bożków całkowicie znikną.
19 they wil go into the caverns of the rocks and into the fissures of the earth in terror of Yahweh, at thebrilliance of his majesty, when he arises to make the earth quake.	19 Wtedy wejdą do jaskiń skalnych i do jam podziemnych ze strachu przed Panem, przed blaskiem Jego majestatu, kiedy powstanie, by przerazić ziemię.
20 That day, people wil fling to moles and bats the silver idols and golden idols which have been made forthem to worship,	20 Owego dnia człowiek wyrzuci kretom i nietoperzom bożki swe srebrne i bałwany złote, zrobione po to, by im cześć oddawał,
21 and go into the crevices of the rocks and the clefts in the cliffs, in terror of Yahweh, at the brilliance ofhis majesty, when he arises to make the earth quake.	21 gdy wejdzie między rozpadliny skalne i w szczeliny opoki ze strachu przed Panem, i przed blaskiem Jego majestatu, kiedy powstanie, by przerazić ziemię.
22 Have no more to do with humankind, which has only the breath in its nostrils. How much is this worth?	22 Zaniechajcie człowieka, który ledwie dech ma w nozdrzach. Bo na ile go ocenić?
