NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 Jotham was twenty-five years old when he came to the throne and he reigned for sixteen years inJerusalem. His mother's name was Jerushah daughter of Zadok.	1 Йотамові було 25 років, як став царем, і царював він 16 років у Єрусалимі. Мати його, дочка Цадока, звалась Єруша.
2 He did what Yahweh regards as right, just as his father Uzziah had done. Only he did not enterYahweh's sanctuary. But the people continued to do wrong.	2 Він чинив угодне в очах Господніх, у всьому так, як чинив Уззія, його батько, тільки він не входив у храм Господній, а народ грішив далі.
3 It was he who built the Upper Gate of the Temple of Yahweh and carried out considerable work on thewal of the Ophel.	3 Він збудував верхню браму дому Господнього, набудував також багато на мурі Офел.
4 He also built towns in the highlands of Judah and built forts and towers in the wooded areas.	4 Набудував міст у горах юдейських, а в лісах набудував замків та башт.
5 He also went to war against the king of the Ammonites and defeated them; and the Ammonites had togive him a hundred talents of silver, ten thousand kor of wheat and ten thousand of barley that year. And theAmmonites paid him the same amount, the second and third years afterwards.	5 Він воювався з царем аммоніїв і переміг, то й аммонії дали йому цього року 100 талантів срібла, 10000 корців пшениці й 10 000 корців ячменю. Стільки ж дали йому аммонії на другий і на третій рік.
6 Jotham became powerful because he kept an unswerving course before Yahweh his God.	6 Отак Йотам дедалі більше й більше вбивався в силу, бо поводився добре перед Господом, своїм Богом.
7 The rest of the history of Jotham, al his wars and his policy, are recorded in the Book of the Kings ofIsrael and Judah.	7 Решта дій Йотама, всі його війни й подвиги записані в книзі ізраїльських та юдейських царів.
8 He was twenty-five years old when he came to the throne and he reigned for sixteen years inJerusalem.	8 Було йому 25 років, як став царем, і царював він 16 років у Єрусалимі.
9 Then Jotham fel asleep with his ancestors, and was buried in the City of David; his son Ahazsucceeded him.	9 І спочив Йотам разом зо своїми батьками, й поховали його в Давидгороді. Замість нього став царем його син Ахаз.
