1 In fine, per Iditun, salmo di Asaf.	1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. In Judah God is known, his name is great in Israel.
2 Al Signore griderò colla mia voce; a Dio colla mia voce, e lui mi intende.	2 His abode has been established in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion.
3 Colle mie mani cercai Iddio nel dì della mia tribulazione, la notte contra lui; e non son ingannato.	3 There he broke the flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. [Selah]
4 Rifiutò di consolarsi l'anima mia; sonmi ricordato di Dio, e ricevei diletto; e conforta'mi, e il mio spirito venne meno.	4 Glorious art thou, more majestic than the everlasting mountains.
5 Gli occhii miei vennero meno per le vigilie; turba’mi, e non ho parlato.	5 The stouthearted were stripped of their spoil; they sank into sleep; all the men of war were unable to use their hands.
6 Ho pensato gli giorni antiqui; e ho avuto in mente gli eterni anni.	6 At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both rider and horse lay stunned.
7 E ho pensato col mio cuore nella notte, ed esercitavami, e mondava il spirito mio.	7 But thou, terrible art thou! Who can stand before thee when once thy anger is roused?
8 Adunque Iddio scaccerà in eterno? ovver [non] aggiugnerà ancora più compiacere?	8 From the heavens thou didst utter judgment; the earth feared and was still,
9 Ovver in fine rimoverà la misericordia sua, dalla generazione in la generazione?	9 when God arose to establish judgment to save all the oppressed of the earth. [Selah]
10 Ovver Iddio si dismenticherà di avere misericordia? ovver le sue misericordie contenerà nell'ira sua?	10 Surely the wrath of men shall praise thee; the residue of wrath thou wilt gird upon thee.
11 E dissi allora ho cominciato; questa è la mutazione della destra dell' Eccelso.	11 Make your vows to the LORD your God, and perform them; let all around him bring gifts to him who is to be feared,
12 Mi son arricordato delle opere del Signore; però [che] mi ricorderò dal principio delle maraviglie tue.	12 who cuts off the spirit of princes, who is terrible to the kings of the earth.
13 E penserò in tutte le opere tue, ed eserciterommi nelli tuoi attrovamenti.
14 Iddio, nel santo è la via tua; quale è Iddio grande, come l' Iddio nostro? Tu sei quell' Iddio, che fai le cose maravigliose.
15 Facesti nelli popoli manifesta la virtù tua; ricomprasti col tuo braccio il popolo tuo, li figliuoli di Iacob e di Iosef.
16 Te videro le acque, Iddio, te videro le acque, e temettero; e furono turbati gli abissi.
17 La moltitudine del suono delle acque; dettero la voce (per) le nubi.
18 E certo passorono le tue saggitte; la voce delli tuoi tuoni nella ruota.
19 Li tuoi splendori lucerono al mondo; commossesi e tremò la terra.
20 Nel mare è la via tua; li tuoi sentieri sono in molte acque, e non si conosceranno le tue vestigie.
21 Reducesti il tuo popolo, come pecore, in mano di Moisè e di Aaron.
