Psalms 149

1 Alleluia. Sing to the Lord a new song. His praise is in the Church of the saints.	1 Алилуя. Співайте Господеві нову пісню, а хвалу йому на зборі праведників.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him who made them, and let the sons of Zion exult in their king.	2 Нехай Ізраїль своїм Творцем радіє, нехай своїм царем сини Сіону веселяться!
3 Let them praise his name in chorus. Let them sing psalms to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.	3 Хай хвалять його ім’я танком, при бубні й при гарфі хай йому співають.
4 For the Lord is well pleased with his people, and he will exalt the meek unto salvation.	4 Господь бо благоволить народові своєму, оздоблює перемогою покірних.
5 The saints will exult in glory. They will rejoice upon their couches.	5 Хай торжествують праведні у славі, на своїх ложах хай ликують.
6 The exultations of God will be in their throat, and two-edged swords will be in their hands:	6 Хай хвала Божа буде на устах у них і двосічний меч у руці в них,
7 to obtain vindication among the nations, chastisements among the peoples,	7 щоб між народами вчинити відплату, між племенами — покарання;
8 to bind their kings with shackles and their nobles with manacles of iron,	8 щоб їх царів забити у кайдани, а їхніх вельмож — у залізні пута,
9 to obtain judgment over them, as it has been written. This is glory for all his saints. Alleluia.	9 щоб суд написаний над ними учинити. Це слава всіх його преподобних! Алилуя.
