1 Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.	1 E de' figliuoli di Aaron queste sono le divisioni. I figliuoli di Aaron: Nadab e Abiu, ed Eleazar e Itamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and without children. And so Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priestly office.	2 E morirono senza figliuoli Nadab e Abiu, prima che il padre loro; ed Eleazar e Itamar fecero l'officio del sacerdozio.
3 And David distributed them, that is, Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.	3 E divisegli David, cioè Sadoc de' figliuoli di Eleazar, e Aimelec de' figliuoli di Itamar, secondo la vice sua e il ministerio.
4 And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the leading men, than of the sons of Ithamar. Therefore, he divided them so that there were, of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen leaders by their families, and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.	4 E trovaronsi molto più i figliuoli di Eleazar uomini principi, che i figliuoli di Itamar. E divise a loro, cioè ai figliuoli di Eleazar, principi per XVI famiglie; e ai figliuoli di Itamar, per famiglie e case loro, VIII.
5 Then he divided among them, in both families, by lot. For there were leaders of the sanctuary and leaders of God, as much from the sons of Eleazar as from the sons of Ithamar.	5 Le une e le altre famiglie divise tra loro per sorte; però ch' erano prìncipi del santuario, e prìncipi (della casa) di Dio, così de' figliuoli di Eleazar, come de' figliuoli d' Itamar.
6 And the scribe Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel, a Levite, wrote these down before the king and the leaders, with Zadok, the priest, and Ahimelech, the son of Abiathar, and also the leaders of the priestly and Levitical families. And there was one house, which was preeminent over the others, that of Eleazar; and there was another house, which had the others under it, that of Ithamar.	6 E descrissegli Semeia figliuolo di Natanael, scriba Levita, dinanzi al re e principi, e Sadoc sacerdote, e Aimelec figliuolo di Abiatar, e dai prìncipi delle famiglie sacerdotali e Levitiche; una casa, la quale era sopra tutti, fu quella di Eleazar; e l'altra, la quale avea sotto sè tutte l' altre, fu quella d' Itamar.
7 Now the first lot went forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,	7 E uscie la prima sorte a Ioiarib, la seconda a Iedei,
8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,	8 la terza ad Arim, la quarta a Seorim,
9 the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,	9 la quinta a Melchia, la sesta a Maiman,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,	10 la settima ad Accos, l'ottava ad Abia,
11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,	11 la nona a Iesua, la decima a Sechenia

19 These were their courses according to their ministries, so that they would enter into the house of the Lord in accord with their practice, under the hand of Aaron, their father, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had instructed.	19 Queste sono le vice loro secondo i loro ministerii, a entrare nella casa di Dio, e secondo l'usanza loro nella mano di Aaron loro padre, sì come il Signore Iddio comandò a Israel.

22 and truly Shelomoth, the son of Izhar, and Jahath, the son of Shelomoth,	22 E Isaari [figliuolo di] Salemot; il figliuolo di Salemot, Iaat;

27 Also, the son of Merari: Uzziah, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Hebri.	27 Anco figliuolo di Merari: Oziau e Soam, Zacur ed Ebri.
28 In addition, the son of Mahli was Eleazar, who had no children.	28 E di Mooli fu figliuolo Eleazar, il quale non avea figliuoli.
29 Truly, the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.	29 E figliuolo di Cis, Ierameel.
30 The sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.	30 I figliuoli di Musi: Mooli, Eder e Ierimot. Questi sono i figliuoli di Levi per le case delle famiglie loro.
31 And they also cast lots concerning their brothers, the sons of Aaron, before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the leaders of the priestly and Levitical families, as much concerning the elder as the younger. The lot divided all things equitably.	31 E misero anco egli le sorti contro i loro fratelli, figliuoli di Aaron, dinanzi al re David e Sadoc e Aimelec e a' principi delle famiglie sacerdotali e Levitiche, così i maggiori come i minori; tutti gli partì per la sorte egualmente.
