1 Again he entered the synagogue. There was a man there who had a withered hand.	1 Outra vez Jesus entrou na sinagoga, e encontrava-se lá um homem, que tinha uma das mãos seca.
2 They watched him closely to see if he would cure him on the sabbath so that they might accuse him.	2 Observavam-no a ver se curaria em dia de sábado, para o acusarem.
3 He said to the man with the withered hand, "Come up here before us."	3 Jesus disse ao homem, que tinha a mão seca: "Vem aqui para o meio."
4 Then he said to them, "Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?" But they remained silent.	4 Depois disse-lhes: "É lícito em dia de sábado fazer bem ou mal? Salvar a vida a uma pessoa ou tirá-la?" Eles, porém, calaram-se.
5 Looking around at them with anger and grieved at their hardness of heart, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out and his hand was restored.	5 Olhando-os em roda com indignação, contristado da cegueira de seus corações, disse ao homem: "Estende a tua mão." Ele a estendeu, e foi-lhe restabelecida a mão.
6 The Pharisees went out and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him to put him to death.	6 Mas os fariseus, retirando-se, entraram logo em conselho contra ele com os herodianos, para ver como o haviam de perder.
7 Jesus withdrew toward the sea with his disciples. A large number of people (followed) from Galilee and from Judea.	7 Jesus retirou-se com os seus discípulos para a banda do mar, e seguiu-o uma grande multidão de povo da Galileia, da Judeia,
8 Hearing what he was doing, a large number of people came to him also from Jerusalem, from Idumea, from beyond the Jordan, and from the neighborhood of Tyre and Sidon.	8 de Jerusalém, da Idumeia, da Transjordânia e das vizinhanças de Tiro e de Sidónia, tendo ouvido as coisas que fazia, foram também em grande multidão ter com ele.
9 He told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him.	9 Mandou aos seus discípulos que lhe aprontassem uma barca, para que a multidão o não atropelasse.
10 He had cured many and, as a result, those who had diseases were pressing upon him to touch him.	10 Porque, como curava muitos, todos os que padeciam algum mal arrojavam-se sobre ele para o tocarem.
11 And whenever unclean spirits saw him they would fall down before him and shout, "You are the Son of God."	11 E os espíritos imundos, quando o viam, prostravam-se diante dele, e gritavam :
12 He warned them sternly not to make him known.	12 "Tu és o Filho de Deus." Mas ele ordenava-lhes com severidade que o não manifestassem.
13 He went up the mountain and summoned those whom he wanted and they came to him.	13 Tendo subido a um monte, chamou a si os que quis. Aproximaram-se dele,
14 He appointed twelve (whom he also named apostles) that they might be with him and he might send them forth to preach	14 e destinou doze, para que andassem com ele, e para os enviar a pregar
15 and to have authority to drive out demons:	15 com poder de expelir os demônios.
16 (he appointed the twelve:) Simon, whom he named Peter;	16 Escolheu pois doze: Simão, a quem pós o nome de Pedro.
17 James, son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, whom he named Boanerges, that is, sons of thunder;	17 Tiago, filho de Zebedeu, e João, irmão de Tiago, aos quais pôs o nome de Boanerges, que quer dizer filhos do trovão,
18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus; Thaddeus, Simon the Cananean,	18 André, Filipe, Bartolomeu, Mateus, Tomé, Tiago, filho de Alfeu, Tadeu, Simão o Cananeu
19 and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him.	19 e Judas Iscariotes, que o entregou.
20 He came home. Again (the) crowd gathered, making it impossible for them even to eat.	20 Depois, foi para casa e concorreu de novo tanta gente, que nem mesmo podiam tomar alimento.
21 When his relatives heard of this they set out to seize him, for they said, "He is out of his mind."	21 Quando os seus parentes ouviram isto, foram para o prender; porque diziam: "Está louco."
22 The scribes who had come from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Beelzebul," and "By the prince of demons he drives out demons."	22 Os escribas, que tinham descido de Jerusalém, diziam : "Está possesso de Belzebu, e em virtude do príncipe dos demônios é que expele os demônios."
23 Summoning them, he began to speak to them in parables, "How can Satan drive out Satan?	23 Jesus tendo-os chamado, dizia-lhes em parábolas: "Como pode Satanás expelir Satanás?
24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.	24 Se um reino está dividido contra si mesmo, um tal reino não pode subsistir.
25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.	25 E se uma casa está dividida contra si mesma, tal casa não pode ficar de pé,
26 And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand; that is the end of him.	26 Se pois Satanás se levantar contra si mesmo, o seu reino está dividido, e não poderá subsistir, antes está para acabar.
27 But no one can enter a strong man's house to plunder his property unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house.	27 Ninguém pode entrar na casa do forte, a roubar os seus móveis, se primeiro não prende o forte. Então saqueará a sua casa.
28 Amen, I say to you, all sins and all blasphemies that people utter will be forgiven them.	28 Na verdade vos digo que serão perdoados aos filhos dos homens todos os pecados e as blasfêmias que proferirem;
29 But whoever blasphemes against the holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin."	29 porém, o que blasfemar contra o Espírito Santo, jamais terá perdão; mas será réu de eterno pecado."
30 For they had said, "He has an unclean spirit."	30 Jesus falou assim por terem dito : "Está possesso do espírito imundo."
31 His mother and his brothers arrived. Standing outside they sent word to him and called him.	31 Chegaram sua mãe e seus irmãos, os quais, estando fora, o mandaram chamar.
32 A crowd seated around him told him, "Your mother and your brothers (and your sisters) are outside asking for you."	32 Estava sentada à roda dele muita gente. Disseram-lhe: "Eis que tua mãe e teus irmãos estão lá fora e procuram-te."
33 But he said to them in reply, "Who are my mother and (my) brothers?"	33 Ele, respondeu-lhes: "Quem é minha mãe e quem são meus irmãos?"
34 And looking around at those seated in the circle he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers.	34 E, olhando para os que estavam sentados à roda de si, disse: "Eis minha mãe e meus irmãos.
35 (For) whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother."	35 Porque o que fizer a vontade de Deus, esse é meu irmão, minha irmã, e minha mãe."
