1 Give thanks to the LORD, who is good, whose love endures forever.	1 ALLELUIA. Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus, quoniam in saeculum misericordia eius.
2 Let the house of Israel say: God's love endures forever.	2 Dicat nunc Israel, quoniam bonus, quoniam in saeculum misericordia eius.
3 Let the house of Aaron say, God's love endures forever.	3 Dicat nunc domus Aaron, quoniam in saeculum misericordia eius.
4 Let those who fear the LORD say, God's love endures forever.	4 Dicant nunc, qui timent Dominum, quoniam in saeculum misericordia eius.
5 In danger I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free.	5 De tribulatione invocavi Dominum, et exaudivit me educens in latitudinem Dominus.
6 The LORD is with me; I am not afraid; what can mortals do against me?	6 Dominus mecum, non timebo, quid faciat mihi homo.
7 The LORD is with me as my helper; I shall look in triumph on my foes.	7 Dominus mecum adiutor meus, et ego despiciam inimicos meos.
8 Better to take refuge in the LORD than to put one's trust in mortals.	8 Bonum est confugere ad Dominum quam confidere in homine.
9 Better to take refuge in the LORD than to put one's trust in princes.	9 Bonum est confugere ad Dominum quam confidere in principibus.
10 All the nations surrounded me; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.	10 Omnes gentes circuierunt me, et in nomine Domini excidi eos.
11 They surrounded me on every side; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.	11 Circumdantes circumdederunt me, et in nomine Domini excidi eos.
12 They surrounded me like bees; they blazed like fire among thorns; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.	12 Circumdederunt me sicut apes et exarserunt sicut ignis in spinis, et in nomine Domini excidi eos.
13 I was hard pressed and falling, but the LORD came to my help.	13 Impellentes impulerunt me, ut caderem, et Dominus adiuvit me.
14 The LORD, my strength and might, came to me as savior.	14 Fortitudo mea et laus mea Dominus et factus est mihi in salutem.
15 The joyful shout of deliverance is heard in the tents of the victors: "The LORD'S right hand strikes with power;	15 Vox iubilationis et salutis in tabernaculis iustorum: “ Dextera Domini fecit virtutem!
16 the LORD'S right hand is raised; the LORD'S right hand strikes with power."	16 Dextera Domini exaltata est; dextera Domini fecit virtutem! ”.
17 I shall not die but live and declare the deeds of the LORD.	17 Non moriar, sed vivam et narrabo opera Domini.
18 The LORD chastised me harshly, but did not hand me over to death.	18 Castigans castigavit me Dominus et morti non tradidit me.
19 Open the gates of victory; I will enter and thank the LORD.	19 Aperite mihi portas iustitiae; ingressus in eas confitebor Domino.
20 This is the LORD'S own gate, where the victors enter.	20 Haec porta Domini; iusti intrabunt in eam. -
21 I thank you for you answered me; you have been my savior.	21 Confitebor tibi, quoniam exaudisti me et factus es mihi in salutem.
22 The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.	22 Lapidem quem reprobaverunt aedificantes, hic factus est in caput anguli;
23 By the LORD has this been done; it is wonderful in our eyes.	23 a Domino factum est istud et est mirabile in oculis nostris.
24 This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad.	24 Haec est dies, quam fecit Dominus: exsultemus et laetemur in ea.
25 LORD, grant salvation! LORD, grant good fortune!	25 O Domine, salvum me fac; o Domine, da prosperitatem!
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. We bless you from the LORD'S house.	26 Benedictus, qui venit in nomine Domini. Benedicimus vobis de domo Domini.
27 The LORD is God and has given us light. Join in procession with leafy branches up to the horns of the altar.	27 Deus Dominus et illuxit nobis. Instruite sollemnitatem in ramis condensis usque ad cornua altaris.
28 You are my God, I give you thanks; my God, I offer you praise.	28 Deus meus es tu, et confitebor tibi, Deus meus, et exaltabo te.
