1 הללו יה אשרי איש ירא את יהוה במצותיו חפץ מאד	1 Al eluia! How blessed is anyone who fears Yahweh, who delights in his commandments!
2 גבור בארץ יהיה זרעו דור ישרים יברך	2 His descendants shal be powerful on earth, the race of the honest shal receive blessings:
3 הון ועשר בביתו וצדקתו עמדת לעד	3 Riches and wealth for his family; his uprightness stands firm for ever.
4 זרח בחשך אור לישרים חנון ורחום וצדיק	4 For the honest he shines as a lamp in the dark, generous, tender-hearted, and upright.
5 טוב איש חונן ומלוה יכלכל דבריו במשפט	5 Al goes wel for one who lends generously, who is honest in al his dealing;
6 כי לעולם לא ימוט לזכר עולם יהיה צדיק	6 for al time to come he wil not stumble, for al time to come the upright wil be remembered.
7 משמועה רעה לא יירא נכון לבו בטח ביהוה	7 Bad news holds no fears for him, firm is his heart, trusting in Yahweh.
8 סמוך לבו לא יירא עד אשר יראה בצריו	8 His heart held steady, he has no fears, til he can gloat over his enemies.
9 פזר נתן לאביונים צדקתו עמדת לעד קרנו תרום בכבוד	9 To the needy he gives without stint, his uprightness stands firm for ever; his reputation is founded onstrength.
10 רשע יראה וכעס שניו יחרק ונמס תאות רשעים תאבד	10 The wicked are vexed at the sight, they grind their teeth and waste away. The desires of the wickedwil be frustrated.
