1 I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; in the council of the just: and in the congregation.	1 [Hallelujah!] Den Herrn will ich preisen von ganzem Herzen, im Kreise der Frommen und der Gemeinde.
2 Great are the works of the Lord: sought out according to all his wills	2 Groß sind die Werke des Herrn, wohlbekannt bei allen, die ihrer sich freuen.
3 His work is praise and magnificence: and his justice continueth for ever and ever.	3 Hoheit und Pracht ist sein Wirken, seine Gerechtigkeit bleibt ewig bestehen.
4 He hath made a remembrance of his wonderful works, being a merciful and gracious Lord:	4 Ein Denkmal für seine Wunder hat er geschaffen, gütig und barmherzig ist der Herr.
5 he hath given food to them that fear him. He will be mindful for ever of his covenant:	5 Speise gab er denen, die ihn fürchten. Er gedenkt auf ewig seines Bundes.
6 he will shew forth to his people the power of his works.	6 Seine machtvollen Werke tat er seinem Volke kund, als er ihm das Erbe der Völker übergab.
7 That he may give them the inheritance of the Gentiles: the works of his hands are truth and judgment.	7 Die Werke seiner Hände sind Treue und Recht; zuverlässig sind alle seine Gebote,
8 All his commandments are faithful: confirmed for ever and ever, made in truth and equity.	8 unwandelbar für immer und ewig, erlassen in Treue und Redlichkeit.
9 He hath sent redemption to his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever. Holy and terrible is his name:	9 Erlösung hat er seinem Volke gesandt, für ewig seinen Bund bestimmt. Heilig und verehrungswürdig ist sein Name.
10 the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A good understanding to all that do it: his praise continueth for ever and ever.	10 Der Weisheit Anfang ist die Furcht des Herrn. Rechte Einsicht haben alle, die sie üben; sein Lobpreis hat Bestand für ewig.
