Ezequiel 2

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Esa voz me dijo: Levántate, hijo de hombre, porque voy a hablarte	1 He said, 'Son of man, get to your feet; I wil speak to you.'
2 Cuando me habló, un espíritu entró en mí y me hizo permanecer de pie, y yo escuché al que me hablaba.	2 As he said these words the spirit came into me and put me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.
3 El me dijo: Hijo de hombre, yo te envío a los israelitas, a un pueblo de rebeldes que se han rebelado contra mí; ellos y sus padres se han sublevado contra mí hasta el día de hoy.	3 He said, 'Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to the rebels who have rebel ed against me.They and their ancestors have been in revolt against me up to the present day.
4 Son hombres obstinados y de corazón endurecido aquellos a los que yo te envío, para que les digas: «Así habla el Señor».	4 Because they are stubborn and obstinate children, I am sending you to them, to say, "Lord Yahwehsays this."
5 Y sea que escuchen o se nieguen a hacerlo –porque son un pueblo rebelde– sabrán que hay un profeta en medio de ellos.	5 Whether they listen or not, this tribe of rebels will know there is a prophet among them.
6 En cuanto a ti, hijo de hombre, no les temas ni tengas miedo de lo que digan, porque estás entre cardos y espinas, y sentado sobre escorpiones; no tengas miedo de lo que digan ni te a cobardes delante de ellos, porque son un pueblo rebelde.	6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or of what they say, though you find yourself surroundedwith brambles and sitting on scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or alarmed by their looks, for they are atribe of rebels.
7 Tú les comunicarás mis palabras, sea que escuchen o se nieguen a hacerlo, porque son un pueblo rebelde.	7 You are to deliver my words to them whether they listen or not, for they are a tribe of rebels.
8 Y tú, hijo de hombre, escucha lo que te voy a decir; no seas rebelde como ese pueblo rebelde: abre tu boca y come lo que te daré.	8 But you, son of man, are to listen to what I say to you; do not be a rebel like that rebellious tribe. Openyour mouth and eat what I am about to give you.'
9 Yo miré y vi una mano extendida hacia mí, y en ella había un libro enrollado.	9 When I looked, there was a hand stretch- ing out to me, holding a scrol .
10 Lo desplegó delante de mí, y estaba escrito de los dos lados; en él había cantos fúnebres, gemidos y lamentos.	10 He un- rol ed it in front of me; it was written on, front and back; on it was written 'Lamentations, dirgesand cries of grief '.
