EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Del maestro de coro. Salmo de David.	1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Listen, God, to my voice as I plead, protect my life from fear ofthe enemy;
2 Dios mío, escucha la voz de mi lamento, protégeme del enemigo temible.	2 hide me from the league of the wicked, from the gang of evil-doers.
3 Apártame de la conjuración de los malvados, de la agitación de los que hacen el mal.	3 They sharpen their tongues like a sword, aim their arrows of poisonous abuse,
4 Ellos afilan su lengua como una espada y apuntan como flechas sus palabras venenosas,	4 shoot at the innocent from cover, shoot suddenly, with nothing to fear.
5 para disparar a escondidas contra el inocente, tirando de sorpresa y sin ningún temor.	5 They support each other in their evil designs, they discuss how to lay their snares. 'Who wil see us?'they say,
6 Se obstinan en sus malos propósitos y esconden sus trampas con astucia, pensando: «¿Quién podrá verlo?».	6 'or wil penetrate our secrets?' He wil do that, he who penetrates human nature to its depths, thedepths of the heart.
7 Proyectan maldades y disimulan sus proyectos: su interior es un abismo impenetrable.	7 God has shot them with his arrow, sudden were their wounds.
8 Pero Dios los acribilla a flechazos y quedan heridos de improviso;	8 He brings them down because of their tongue, and al who see them shake their heads.
9 su misma lengua los lleva a la ruina, y aquellos que los ven mueven la cabeza.	9 Everyone wil be awestruck, proclaim what God has done, and understand why he has done it.
10 Por eso, todos los hombres sentirán temor; proclamarán esta obra de Dios y reconocerán lo que él hizo.	10 The upright wil rejoice in Yahweh, wil take refuge in him, and al the honest wil praise him.
11 El justo se alegrará en el Señor y encontrará un refugio en él; y se gloriarán todos los rectos de corazón.
