EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Hay un sitio de donde se extrae la plata y un lugar donde se refina el oro;	1 Silver has its mines, and gold a place for refining.
2 el hierro se saca del polvo y la piedra fundida da el cobre.	2 Iron is extracted from the earth, the smelted rocks yield copper.
3 El hombre disipa las tinieblas y explora hasta el límite más extremo la roca lóbrega y sombría.	3 Man makes an end of darkness, to the utmost limit he digs the black rock in shadow dark as death.
4 Gente extranjera perfora galerías ignoradas por el pie del caminante; allí, lejos de los mortales, oscilan suspendidos en el vacío.	4 Foreigners bore into ravines in unfrequented places, swinging suspended far from human beings.
5 La tierra, de donde sale el alimento, se transforma en su interior como por el fuego.	5 That earth from which bread comes is ravaged underground by fire.
6 Sus piedras son el lugar del zafiro y contienen polvo de oro.	6 There, the rocks have veins of sapphire and their dust contains gold.

12 Pero la Sabiduría, ¿de dónde sale? ¿Y cuál es el lugar de la Inteligencia?	12 But where does Wisdom come from? Where is Intel igence to be found?
13 El hombre no conoce su camino ni se la encuentra en la tierra de los vivientes.	13 No human being knows the way to her, she is not to be found on earth where they live.
