Prima lettera di Giovanni (1 يوحنا) 3

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 انظروا اية محبة اعطانا الآب حتى ندعى اولاد الله. من اجل هذا لا يعرفنا العالم لانه لا يعرفه.	1 You must see what great love the Father has lavished on us by letting us be cal ed God's children --which is what we are! The reason why the world does not acknowledge us is that it did not acknowledge him.
2 ايها الاحباء الآن نحن اولاد الله ولم يظهر بعد ماذا سنكون. ولكن نعلم انه اذا أظهر نكون مثله لاننا سنراه كما هو.	2 My dear friends, we are already God's children, but what we shall be in the future has not yet beenrevealed. We are wel aware that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he real yis.
3 وكل من عنده هذا الرجاء به يطهر نفسه كما هو طاهر.	3 Whoever treasures this hope of him purifies himself, to be as pure as he is.
4 كل من يفعل الخطية يفعل التعدي ايضا. والخطية هي التعدي.	4 Whoever sins, acts wickedly, because al sin is wickedness.
5 وتعلمون ان ذاك أظهر لكي يرفع خطايانا وليس فيه خطية.	5 Now you are well aware that he has appeared in order to take sins away, and that in him there is no sin.
6 كل من يثبت فيه لا يخطئ. كل من يخطئ لم يبصره ولا عرفه	6 No one who remains in him sins, and whoever sins has neither seen him nor recognised him.
7 ايها الاولاد لا يضلّكم احد. من يفعل البر فهو بار كما ان ذاك بار	7 Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. Whoever acts uprightly is upright, just as he is upright.
8 من يفعل الخطية فهو من ابليس لان ابليس من البدء يخطئ. لاجل هذا أظهر ابن الله لكي ينقض اعمال ابليس.	8 Whoever lives sinfully belongs to the devil, since the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. Thiswas the purpose of the appearing of the Son of God, to undo the work of the devil.
9 كل من هو مولود من الله لا يفعل خطية لان زرعه يثبت فيه ولا يستطيع ان يخطئ لانه مولود من الله.	9 No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is achild of God.
10 بهذا اولاد الله ظاهرون واولاد ابليس. كل من لا يفعل البر فليس من الله وكذا من لا يحب اخاه.	10 This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not liveuprightly and does not love his brother is not from God.
11 لان هذا هو الخبر الذي سمعتموه من البدء ان يحب بعضنا بعضا.	11 This is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we must love one another,
12 ليس كما كان قايين من الشرير وذبح اخاه. ولماذا ذبحه. لان اعماله كانت شريرة واعمال اخيه بارة	12 not to be like Cain, who was from the Evil One and murdered his brother. And why did he murder hisbrother? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's upright.
13 لا تتعجبوا يا اخوتي ان كان العالم يبغضكم.	13 Do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you.
14 نحن نعلم اننا قد انتقلنا من الموت الى الحياة لاننا نحب الاخوة. من لا يحب اخاه يبق في الموت.	14 We are wel aware that we have passed over from death to life because we love our brothers.Whoever does not love, remains in death.
15 كل من يبغض اخاه فهو قاتل نفس. وانتم تعلمون ان كل قاتل نفس ليس له حياة ابدية ثابتة فيه.	15 Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you are well aware that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.
16 بهذا قد عرفنا المحبة ان ذاك وضع نفسه لاجلنا فنحن ينبغي لنا ان نضع نفوسنا لاجل الاخوة.	16 This is the proof of love, that he laid down his life for us, and we too ought to lay down our lives for ourbrothers.
17 واما من كان له معيشة العالم ونظر اخاه محتاجا واغلق احشاءه عنه فكيف تثبت محبة الله فيه.	17 If anyone is wel -off in worldly possessions and sees his brother in need but closes his heart to him,how can the love of God be remaining in him?
18 يا اولادي لا نحب بالكلام ولا باللسان بل بالعمل والحق.	18 Children, our love must be not just words or mere talk, but something active and genuine.
19 وبهذا نعرف اننا من الحق ونسكن قلوبنا قدامه.	19 This will be the proof that we belong to the truth, and it wil convince us in his presence,
20 لانه ان لامتنا قلوبنا فالله اعظم من قلوبنا ويعلم كل شيء	20 even if our own feelings condemn us, that God is greater than our feelings and knows al things.
21 ايها الاحباء ان لم تلمنا قلوبنا فلنا ثقة من نحو الله	21 My dear friends, if our own feelings do not condemn us, we can be fearless before God,
22 ومهما سألنا ننال منه لاننا نحفظ وصاياه ونعمل الاعمال المرضية امامه.	22 and whatever we ask we shal receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what isacceptable to him.
23 وهذه هي وصيته ان نؤمن باسم ابنه يسوع المسيح ونحب بعضنا بعضا كما اعطانا وصية.	23 His commandment is this, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and that weshould love one another as he commanded us.
24 ومن يحفظ وصاياه يثبت فيه وهو فيه. وبهذا نعرف انه يثبت فينا من الروح الذي اعطانا	24 Whoever keeps his commandments remains in God, and God in him. And this is the proof that heremains in us: the Spirit that he has given us.
