1 لامام المغنين. على لا تهلك. مذهبة لداود لما ارسل شاول وراقبوا البيت ليقتلوه‎. ‎انقذني من اعدائي يا الهي. من مقاوميّ احمني‎.	1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Of David In a quiet voice When Saul sent men to watchDavid's house in order to have him killed] Rescue me from my enemies, my God, be my stronghold from myassailants,
2 ‎نجني من فاعلي الاثم ومن رجال الدماء خلصني‎.	2 rescue me from evil-doers, from men of violence save me.
3 ‎لانهم يكمنون لنفسي. الاقوياء يجتمعون علي لا لاثمي ولا لخطيتي يا رب‎.	3 Look at them, lurking to ambush me, violent men are attacking me, for no fault, no sin of mine,Yahweh,
4 ‎بلا اثم مني يجرون ويعدّون انفسهم. استيقظ الى لقائي وانظر‎.	4 for no guilt, they come running to take up position. Wake up, stand by me and keep watch,
5 ‎وانت يا رب اله الجنود اله اسرائيل انتبه لتطالب كل الامم. كل غادر اثيم لا ترحم. سلاه‎.	5 Yahweh, God of Sabaoth, God of Israel, rise up, to punish al the nations, show no mercy to all thesemalicious traitors.Pause
6 ‎يعودون عند المساء يهرّون مثل الكلب ويدورون في المدينة‎.	6 Back they come at nightfall, snarling like curs, prowling through the town.
7 ‎هوذا يبقّون بافواههم. سيوف في شفاههم. لانهم يقولون من سامع.	7 Look how they rant in speech with swords on their lips, 'Who is there to hear us?'
8 اما انت يا رب فتضحك بهم. تستهزئ بجميع الامم‎.	8 For your part, Yahweh, you laugh at them, you make mockery of all nations.
9 ‎من قوّته اليك التجئ لان الله ملجإي	9 My strength, I keep my eyes fixed on you. For my stronghold is God,
10 الهي رحمته تتقدمني. الله يريني باعدائي‎.	10 the God who loves me faithfully is coming to meet me, God will let me feast my eyes on those who liein wait for me.
11 ‎لا تقتلهم لئلا ينسى شعبي. تيّههم بقوتك واهبطهم يا رب ترسنا‎.	11 Do not annihilate them, or my people may forget; shake them in your power, bring them low, Lord,our shield.
12 ‎خطية افواههم هي كلام شفاههم. وليؤخذوا بكبريائهم ومن اللعنة ومن الكذب الذي يحدّثون به‎.	12 Sin is in their mouths, sin on their lips, so let them be trapped in their pride for the curses and lies thatthey utter.
13 ‎افن بحنق افن ولا يكونوا وليعلموا ان الله متسلط في يعقوب الى اقاصي الارض. سلاه‎.	13 Destroy them in your anger, destroy them til they are no more, and let it be known that God is Masterin Jacob and the whole wide world.Pause
14 ‎ويعودون عند المساء يهرّون مثل الكلب ويدورون في المدينة‎.	14 Back they come at nightfal , snarling like curs, prowling through the town,
15 ‎هم يتيهون للأكل. ان لم يشبعوا ويبيتوا	15 scavenging for something to eat, growling unless they have their fil .
16 اما انا فاغني بقوتك وارنم بالغداة برحمتك لانك كنت ملجأ لي ومناصا في يوم ضيقي‎.	16 And so I wil sing of your strength, in the morning acclaim your faithful love; you have been astronghold for me, a refuge when I was in trouble.
17 ‎يا قوتي لك ارنم لان الله ملجإي اله رحمتي	17 My strength, I wil make music for you, for my stronghold is God, the God who loves me faithful y.
