SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 وهذه مواليد عيسو الذي هو ادوم.	1 These are the descendants of Esau, that is, Edom.
2 اخذ عيسو نساءه من بنات كنعان. عدا بنت إيلون الحثّي وأهوليبامة بنت عنى بنت صبعون الحوّي.	2 Esau chose his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, Oholibamahdaughter of Anah, son of Zibeon the Horite,
3 وبسمة بنت اسماعيل اخت نبايوت.	3 Basemath daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.
4 فولدت عدا لعيسو أليفاز. وولدت بسمة رعوئيل.	4 Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel,
5 وولدت أهوليبامة يعوش ويعلام وقورح. هؤلاء بنو عيسو الذين ولدوا له في ارض كنعان	5 Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These were the sons of Esau born to him in Canaan.
6 ثم اخذ عيسو نساءه وبنيه وبناته وجميع نفوس بيته ومواشيه وكل بهائمه وكل مقتناه الذي اقتنى في ارض كنعان ومضى الى ارض اخرى من وجه يعقوب اخيه.	6 Esau took his wives, his sons and daughters, al the members of his household, his livestock, al hiscattle and al the goods he had acquired in Canaan and left for Seir, away from his brother Jacob.
7 لان املاكهما كانت كثيرة على السكنى معا ولم تستطع ارض غربتهما ان تحملهما من اجل مواشيهما.	7 For they had acquired too much to live together. The land in which they were at that time could notsupport them both because of their livestock.
8 فسكن عيسو في جبل سعير. وعيسو هو ادوم	8 That is why Edom settled in the mountainous region of Seir. Esau is Edom.
9 وهذه مواليد عيسو ابي ادوم في جبل سعير.	9 These are the descendants of Esau, ancestor of Edom, in the mountainous region of Seir.
10 هذه اسماء بني عيسو. أليفاز ابن عدا امرأة عيسو ورعوئيل ابن بسمة امرأة عيسو.	10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz son of Esau's wife Adah, and Reuel son of Esau's wifeBasemath.
11 وكان بنو أليفاز تيمان واومار وصفوا وجعثام وقناز.	11 The sons of Eliphaz were: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz.
12 وكانت تمناع سرية لاليفاز بن عيسو فولدت لاليفاز عماليق. هؤلاء بنو عدا امرأة عيسو.	12 Eliphaz son of Esau had Timna for concubine and she bore him Amalek. These were the sons ofEsau's wife Adah.
13 وهؤلاء بنو رعوئيل. نحث وزارح وشمّة ومزّة. هؤلاء كانوا بني بسمة امرأة عيسو.	13 These were the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the sons ofEsau's wife Basemath.
14 وهؤلاء كانوا بني أهوليبامة بنت عنى بنت صبعون امرأة عيسو. ولدت لعيسو يعوش ويعلام وقورح	14 And these were the sons of Esau's wife Oholibamah daughter of Anah, son of Zibeon: she bore himJeush, Jalam and Korah.
15 هؤلاء امراء بني عيسو. بنو اليفاز بكر عيسو امير تيمان وامير اومار وامير صفو وامير قناز	15 These are the chieftains of Esau. The descendants of Eliphaz, Esau's eldest son: the chieftains ofTeman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,
16 وامير قورح وامير جعثام وامير عماليق. هؤلاء امراء أليفاز في ارض ادوم. هؤلاء بنو عدا.	16 Gatam and Amalek. These are the chieftains of Eliphaz in Edom and are descended from Adah.
17 وهؤلاء بنو رعوئيل بن عيسو. امير نحث وامير زارح وامير شمّة وامير مزّة. هؤلاء امراء رعوئيل في ارض ادوم. هؤلاء بنو بسمة امرأة عيسو.	17 The descendants of Esau's son Reuel: the chieftains of Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.These are the chieftains of Reuel in Edom and are descended from Esau's wife Basemath.
18 وهؤلاء بنو أهوليبامة امرأة عيسو. امير يعوش وامير يعلام وامير قورح. هؤلاء امراء أهوليبامة بنت عنى امرأة عيسو.	18 The descendants of Esau's wife Oholibamah: the chieftains of Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These arethe chieftains of Esau's wife Oholibamah daughter of Anah.
19 هؤلاء بنو عيسو الذي هو ادوم وهؤلاء امراؤهم	19 These were the sons of Esau -- that is, Edom -- and these are their chieftains.
20 هؤلاء بنو سعير الحوريّ سكان الارض. لوطان وشوبان وصبعون وعنى	20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, natives of the country: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
21 وديشون وإيصر وديشان. هؤلاء امراء الحوريين بنو سعير في ارض ادوم.	21 Dishon, Ezer and Dishan; these were the Horite chieftains descended from Seir, in Edom.
22 وكان ابنا لوطان حوري وهيمام. وكانت تمناع اخت لوطان.	22 The sons of Lotan were Hori and Hemam, and Lotan's sister was Timna.
23 وهؤلاء بنو شوبال علوان ومناحة وعيبال وشفو وأونام.	23 These are the sons of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
24 وهذان ابنا صبعون أيّة وعنى. هذا هو عنى الذي وجد الحمائم في البرية اذ كان يرعى حمير صبعون ابيه.	24 These are the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, Anah -- the Anah who found the hot springs in the desert whilepasturing his father Zibeon's donkeys.
25 وهذا ابن عنى ديشون. وأهوليبامة هي بنت عنى.	25 These are the children of Anah: Dishon, and Oholibamah daughter of Anah.
26 وهؤلاء بنو ديشان حمدان واشبان ويثران وكران.	26 These are the sons of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran and Cheran.
27 هؤلاء بنو إيصر بلهان وزعوان وعقان.	27 These are the sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan and Akan.
28 هذان ابنا ديشان عوص وأران.	28 These are the sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
29 هؤلاء امراء الحوريين. امير لوطان وامير شوبال وامير صبعون وامير عنى	29 These are the Horite chieftains: the chieftains of Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
30 وامير ديشون وامير إيصر وامير ديشان. هؤلاء امراء الحوريين بامرائهم في ارض سعير	30 Dishon, Ezer and Dishan. These are the chieftains of the Horites, by their clans, in Seir.
31 وهؤلاء هم الملوك الذين ملكوا في ارض ادوم قبلما ملك ملك لبني اسرائيل.	31 These are the kings who reigned in Edom before an Israelite king.
32 ملك في ادوم بالع بن بعور. وكان اسم مدينته دنهابة.	32 In Edom reigned Bela son of Beor; his city was cal ed Dinhabah.
33 ومات بالع فملك مكانه يوباب بن زارح من بصرة.	33 Bela died and Jobab son of Zerah, from Bozrah, succeeded.
34 ومات يوباب فملك مكانه حوشام من ارض التيماني.	34 Jobab died and Husham from the land of the Temanites succeeded.
35 ومات حوشام فملك مكانه هداد بن بداد الذي كسر مديان في بلاد موآب. وكان اسم مدينته عويت.	35 Husham died and Hadad son of Bedad succeeded; he defeated the Midianites in Moab, and his citywas called Avith.
36 ومات هداد فملك مكانه سملة من مسريقة.	36 Hadad died and Samlah of Masrekah succeeded.
37 ومات سملة فملك مكانه شاول من رحوبوت النهر.	37 Samlah died and Shaul of Rehoboth-ha-Nahar succeeded.
38 ومات شاول فملك مكانه بعل حانان بن عكبور.	38 Shaul died and Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded.
39 ومات بعل حانان بن عكبور فملك مكانه هدار. وكان اسم مدينته فاعو. واسم امرأته مهيطبئيل بنت مطرد بنت ماء ذهب	39 Baal-Hanan died and Hadad succeeded; his city was called Pau and his wife's name was Mehetabeldaughter of Matred, from Mezahab.
40 وهذه اسماء امراء عيسو حسب قبائلهم واماكنهم باسمائهم. امير تمناع وامير علوة وامير يتيت	40 These are the names of the chieftains of Esau -- according to their clans and localities: the chieftainsof Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
41 وامير اهوليبامة وامير ايلة وامير فينون	41 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
42 وامير قناز وامير تيمان وامير مبصار	42 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
43 وامير مجديئيل وامير عيرام. هؤلاء امراء ادوم حسب مساكنهم في ارض ملكهم. هذا هو عيسو ابو ادوم	43 Magdiel and Iram. These are the chieftains of Edom, as settled in the territory which they own. Esauwas Edom's ancestor.
