Psalms 14

1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, who will dwell in your tabernacle? Or who will rest on your holy mountain?	1 Al maestro di coro. Di Davide. Dice lo stolto nel suo cuore: "Non c'è Dio". Pervertono, corrompono la loro condotta; non c'è chi faccia il bene.
2 He who walks without blemish and who works justice.	2 Il Signore dai cieli protende lo sguardo sopra i figli degli uomini per vedere se c'è chi intenda, chi ricerchi Dio.
3 He who speaks the truth in his heart, who has not acted deceitfully with his tongue, and has not done evil to his neighbor, and has not taken up a reproach against his neighbors.	3 Tutti hanno deviato, insieme si sono corrotti: non c'è chi faccia il bene, non c'è neppure uno!
4 In his sight, the malicious one has been reduced to nothing, but he glorifies those who fear the Lord. He who swears to his neighbor and does not deceive.	4 Non metteranno giudizio tutti gli operatori d'iniquità, che divorano il suo popolo come se mangiassero pane? Non hanno invocato il Signore,
5 He who has not given his money in usury, nor accepted bribes against the innocent. He who does these things will be undisturbed for eternity.	5 ed ecco li ha presi un grande spavento, poiché Dio sta con la generazione dei giusti.
	6 Voi confondete il piano dell'afflitto, ma il Signore è il suo rifugio.
	7 Oh, venga da Sion la salvezza d'Israele! Quando il Signore restaurerà la sorte del suo popolo, esulti Giacobbe, s'allieti Israele.
