1 Then David again gathered together all the elect men of Israel, thirty thousand.	1 και συνηγαγεν ετι δαυιδ παντα νεανιαν εξ ισραηλ ως εβδομηκοντα χιλιαδας
2 And David arose and went away, with the entire people who were with him from the men of Judah, so that they might lead back the ark of God, over which is invoked the name of the Lord of hosts, who sits upon the cherubim above it.	2 και ανεστη και επορευθη δαυιδ και πας ο λαος ο μετ' αυτου απο των αρχοντων ιουδα εν αναβασει του αναγαγειν εκειθεν την κιβωτον του θεου εφ' ην επεκληθη το ονομα κυριου των δυναμεων καθημενου επι των χερουβιν επ' αυτης
3 And they placed the ark of God on a new cart. And they took it from the house of Abinadab, who was in Gibeon. And Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart.	3 και επεβιβασεν την κιβωτον κυριου εφ' αμαξαν καινην και ηρεν αυτην εξ οικου αμιναδαβ του εν τω βουνω και οζα και οι αδελφοι αυτου υιοι αμιναδαβ ηγον την αμαξαν
4 And when they had taken it from the house of Abinadab, who was in Gibeon, Ahio preceded the ark as the keeper of the ark of God.	4 συν τη κιβωτω και οι αδελφοι αυτου επορευοντο εμπροσθεν της κιβωτου
5 But David and all of Israel played before the Lord on every kind of musical instrument made of wood, and on harps, and lyres, and timbrels, and bells, and cymbals.	5 και δαυιδ και οι υιοι ισραηλ παιζοντες ενωπιον κυριου εν οργανοις ηρμοσμενοις εν ισχυι και εν ωδαις και εν κινυραις και εν ναβλαις και εν τυμπανοις και εν κυμβαλοις και εν αυλοις
6 And after they had arrived at the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah extended his hand to the ark of God, and he touched it, because the oxen were kicking and had caused it to tip.	6 και παραγινονται εως αλω νωδαβ και εξετεινεν οζα την χειρα αυτου επι την κιβωτον του θεου κατασχειν αυτην και εκρατησεν αυτην οτι περιεσπασεν αυτην ο μοσχος του κατασχειν αυτην
7 And the indignation of the Lord was enraged against Uzzah. And he struck him for his temerity. And there he died, beside the ark of God.	7 και εθυμωθη κυριος τω οζα και επαισεν αυτον εκει ο θεος και απεθανεν εκει παρα την κιβωτον του κυριου ενωπιον του θεου
8 Then David was saddened because the Lord had struck Uzzah. And the name of that place was called: the Striking of Uzzah, even to this day.	8 και ηθυμησεν δαυιδ υπερ ου διεκοψεν κυριος διακοπην εν τω οζα και εκληθη ο τοπος εκεινος διακοπη οζα εως της ημερας ταυτης
9 And David was very fearful of the Lord on that day, saying, “How shall the ark of the Lord be brought to me?”	9 και εφοβηθη δαυιδ τον κυριον εν τη ημερα εκεινη λεγων πως εισελευσεται προς με η κιβωτος κυριου
10 And he was not willing to send the ark of the Lord to himself in the city of David. Instead, he sent it into the house of Obededom, the Gittite.	10 και ουκ εβουλετο δαυιδ του εκκλιναι προς αυτον την κιβωτον διαθηκης κυριου εις την πολιν δαυιδ και απεκλινεν αυτην δαυιδ εις οικον αβεδδαρα του γεθθαιου
11 And the ark of the Lord dwelt in the house of Obededom the Gittite, for three months. And the Lord blessed Obededom, and all his household.	11 και εκαθισεν η κιβωτος του κυριου εις οικον αβεδδαρα του γεθθαιου μηνας τρεις και ευλογησεν κυριος ολον τον οικον αβεδδαρα και παντα τα αυτου
12 And it was reported to king David that the Lord had blessed Obededom, and all that was his, because of the ark of God. Therefore, David went and brought the ark of God, from the house of Obededom, into the city of David with joy. And there were with David seven choirs, and calves for victims.	12 και απηγγελη τω βασιλει δαυιδ λεγοντες ηυλογησεν κυριος τον οικον αβεδδαρα και παντα τα αυτου ενεκεν της κιβωτου του θεου και επορευθη δαυιδ και ανηγαγεν την κιβωτον του κυριου εκ του οικου αβεδδαρα εις την πολιν δαυιδ εν ευφροσυνη
13 And when those who were carrying the ark of the Lord had traveled six steps, he immolated an ox and a ram.	13 και ησαν μετ' αυτων αιροντες την κιβωτον επτα χοροι και θυμα μοσχος και αρνα
14 And David danced with all his ability before the Lord. And David was girded with the linen ephod.	14 και δαυιδ ανεκρουετο εν οργανοις ηρμοσμενοις ενωπιον κυριου και ο δαυιδ ενδεδυκως στολην εξαλλον
15 And David, and all the house of Israel, were leading the ark of the testament of the Lord, with jubilation and the sound of the trumpet.	15 και δαυιδ και πας ο οικος ισραηλ ανηγαγον την κιβωτον κυριου μετα κραυγης και μετα φωνης σαλπιγγος
16 And when the ark of the Lord had entered into the city of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, looking out through a window, saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord. And she despised him in her heart.	16 και εγενετο της κιβωτου παραγινομενης εως πολεως δαυιδ και μελχολ η θυγατηρ σαουλ διεκυπτεν δια της θυριδος και ειδεν τον βασιλεα δαυιδ ορχουμενον και ανακρουομενον ενωπιον κυριου και εξουδενωσεν αυτον εν τη καρδια αυτης
17 And they led in the ark of the Lord. And they set it in its place in the middle of the tabernacle, which David had pitched for it. And David offered holocausts and peace offerings in the sight of the Lord.	17 και φερουσιν την κιβωτον του κυριου και ανεθηκαν αυτην εις τον τοπον αυτης εις μεσον της σκηνης ης επηξεν αυτη δαυιδ και ανηνεγκεν δαυιδ ολοκαυτωματα ενωπιον κυριου και ειρηνικας
18 And when he had completed offering holocausts and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts.	18 και συνετελεσεν δαυιδ συναναφερων τας ολοκαυτωσεις και τας ειρηνικας και ευλογησεν τον λαον εν ονοματι κυριου των δυναμεων
19 And he distributed to the entire multitude of Israel, as much to men as to women, to each one: one loaf of bread, and one piece of roasted beef, and fine wheat flour fried with oil. And all the people went away, each one to his own house.	19 και διεμερισεν παντι τω λαω εις πασαν την δυναμιν του ισραηλ απο δαν εως βηρσαβεε απο ανδρος εως γυναικος εκαστω κολλυριδα αρτου και εσχαριτην και λαγανον απο τηγανου και απηλθεν πας ο λαος εκαστος εις τον οικον αυτου
20 And David returned, so that he might bless his own house. And Michal, the daughter of Saul, going out to meet David, said: “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself before the handmaids of his servants, and being unclothed, as if one of the performers were unclothed.”	20 και επεστρεψεν δαυιδ ευλογησαι τον οικον αυτου και εξηλθεν μελχολ η θυγατηρ σαουλ εις απαντησιν δαυιδ και ευλογησεν αυτον και ειπεν τι δεδοξασται σημερον ο βασιλευς ισραηλ ος απεκαλυφθη σημερον εν οφθαλμοις παιδισκων των δουλων εαυτου καθως αποκαλυπτεται αποκαλυφθεις εις των ορχουμενων
21 And David said to Michal: “Before the Lord, who chose me rather than your father, and rather than his entire house, and who commanded me, that I should be the leader over the people of the Lord in Israel,	21 και ειπεν δαυιδ προς μελχολ ενωπιον κυριου ορχησομαι ευλογητος κυριος ος εξελεξατο με υπερ τον πατερα σου και υπερ παντα τον οικον αυτου του καταστησαι με εις ηγουμενον επι τον λαον αυτου επι τον ισραηλ και παιξομαι και ορχησομαι ενωπιον κυριου
22 I will both play and demean myself, more so than I have done. And I will be little in my own eyes. And with the handmaids, about whom you are speaking, I will appear more glorious.”	22 και αποκαλυφθησομαι ετι ουτως και εσομαι αχρειος εν οφθαλμοις σου και μετα των παιδισκων ων ειπας με δοξασθηναι
23 And so, there was no child born to Michal, the daughter of Saul, even to the day of her death.	23 και τη μελχολ θυγατρι σαουλ ουκ εγενετο παιδιον εως της ημερας του αποθανειν αυτην
