2 when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, "David is hiding among us."	2 quando gli Zifei si presentarono a Saul e gli dissero: "Non sta forse Davide nascosto da noi?".
3 O God, by your name save me. By your strength defend my cause.	3 O Dio, salvami nel tuo nome, rendimi giustizia nella tua potenza.
4 O God, hear my prayer. Listen to the words of my mouth.	4 O Dio, ascolta la mia preghiera, porgi l'orecchio alle parole della mia bocca.
5 The arrogant have risen against me; the ruthless seek my life; they do not keep God before them. Selah	5 Poiché contro di me sono sorti degli stranieri e dei violenti attentano alla mia vita; non c'è Dio nel loro cospetto.
6 God is present as my helper; the Lord sustains my life.	6 Ecco, Dio verrà in mio soccorso, il Signore è sostenitore dell'anima mia.
7 Turn back the evil upon my foes; in your faithfulness, destroy them.	7 Ricada il male sui miei avversari, annientali nella tua fedeltà.
